For me they were awesome, easy to get an appointment clearly explained all costs and was seen with hardly a minutes wait. Today I had to reschedule last minute and was expecting to be hit with a charge, they didn't even bring it up! Will be making them my regular eye doctor from here on in!

I highly recommend Harry Koster, MD, and his staff at 37 Murray Street, Manhattan, following my Oct. 1, 2018, stress-free, perfect-results cataract surgery (and annual exams since 2005). Dr. Koster and his colleagues have taken time to listen to me and follow up with state-of-the-art care in a spotless, close-to-multi-subways facility. Traveling 3 hrs.from northern Westchester via Grand Central and 2 express subway stops to see Dr. Koster @ 37 Murray St. is a good medical choice I will never abandon.

NY Vision Group, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways: 1. Dr. Koster is super: Calm, attentive, compassionate and a great surgeon. 2. His staff are efficient and always pleasant, from reception to technicians. 3. Appointment time is when you're seen, no hours of waiting! 4. Special mention for Sherry, coordinator extraordinaire. I love and thank you all. I'm 66 years old and after cataract surgery I see better than I ever have.

Terrible. First off, they are not even at the 10 Downing location anymore and the receptionist didn't bother to tell me that when I made an emergency appointment to see a doctor. So I rush to get there only to realize I have to take a cab to get to the actual location. Then the doctor says they will send the prescription to my pharmacy, later that day when I check with the pharmacy they say they have no record of it and when I call NY Vision Group, they are already closed at 4pm on a Friday. So that means I have to suffer all weekend, which is what I was trying to avoid by rushing to get there today. Not to mention they had typos on their new client application form! They suck.

Had my LASIK surgery done by Dr. Koster & my vision is far better than what it was. No more contacts or glasses for me! I cannot stress how polite, caring and enlightening the staff from both offices were to me. These people really know what they are doing and they treat patients with respect. I highly recommend Dr. Koster for LASIK Vision Correction!

Dr. Koster is amazing! I received all my testing for LASIK in the Richmond Hill office and he performed my LASIK vision correction in the Tribeca office. My vision is absolutely perfect! He made me feel so calm and comfortable before and during the procedure. The surgical coordinator, Sherry, really helped me through this process! I highly recommend Dr. Harry Koster!

Not the worst, but I experienced an inexplicable wait time during my visit. On Friday, 10/18/2019, I signed in for my 11am appointment at 10:50am, asked for an update at 11:15am and was told the office was backed up (it would help if receptionists were proactive in letting me know, as opposed to waiting for me to ask), and was called at 11:20am to begin the battery of tests. The rest of the appointment was pretty smooth. The doctor told me that a 20-minute wait time is rather normal. I'm sure this office can do better.

They are scammers, keep away! They say your insurance is accepted and then send you a $500 bill without any explanation and charging multiple times the same service.

Dr. Koster and his staff at Murray Street are extremely professional and the best! Dr. Koster took the time to explain everything to me in detail and his staff took care of everything. I highly recommend Dr. Koster!

NY Vision Group is awesome! They are efficient, friendly and super knowledgeable. I had a problem with my eye that involved surgery (not laser but the kind with a knife). I was back to work the next day, no pain and for the first time in years, not experiencing discomfort in my eye. Dr Koster even called me the evening of the surgery from upstate to check on me. That even impressed my Mom (she's tough as nails!). I fully recommend NY Vision Group.

Updated Review (no one paid me to change it but i will leave my previous review below) but i still can't give them 5 stars. The office is very clean. The previous doctor (i dont remember his name) was amazing, very kiind and very gentle. I had to check myself because While Dr Redding was not a joy to work with I was grateful that every time i have had an appointment with them it was fast and swift. The first time I went the receptionist forgot to email my eye drops to my pharmacy and I called after hours and spoke to their answering service. She immediately contacted my doctor and he actually gave me a call apologized and asked me if i was ok. Highly Grateful. I had a amazing experience up until Dr Redding. Even after my review they gave me a call. However i was not ready to chat with them, i was still upset. So 1 star off for that 1 doctor. How fast we are to write about our bad experience but not our good experiences . Previous review: Unfortunately Doctor Redding (I think that how you spell it) Has no discretion. She was so loud about my eye diagnosis that i had to request her to close the door. Several time i felt she was being intentional. Then when i had questions she couldn't explain anything when i asked how it could have happened or show me the proof. I will be seeking a second opinion. She is very condescending and a bit rude. I had another doctor there he was a lot better my fault for switching doctors.

Fantastic care here. Dr. Koster was incredibly helpful and informative. He went out of his way to help despite my insurance having some delays etc. Wonderful staff here as well!
