Doctor Gerald Shepps has been taking care of my eyes for over 3 years. It took me a lot of research to finally find a specialist with highest credentials to take care of my sight. My job in particular depends on very good vision since I work in a photo studio. Strictly accurate color perception is absolutely necessary for me. I needed to have cataract surgery on both of my eyes because my sight was deteriorating, it started affecting my life and soon it would have been impossible for me to do my job. Doctor Shepps took care of that in a highly professional way. I was very nervous only before the first surgery and he was very supportive and understanding. I expected a major improvement after my surgeries on both of my eyes. Doctor Shepps gave me much more than that. He gave me totally new perfect sight. He chose the best implant lenses possible for me. Now my sight is absolutely perfect and I can really say this doing my everyday work. His clinic Associate Ophthalmologists has two state of the art facilities. The staff is knowledgeable and pays attention to every detail of their work. Doctor Shepps is by far the best eye specialist I have ever seen. Associate Ophthalmologists is by far the best clinic I have ever been to. I definitely recommend him and his clinic with confidence.

I came to their office for LASIK surgery. I was referred by a friend. And just like they told me, I will tell you, don’t mess with your eyes, you only have one pair. No need to take the chance. I had a great experience, one week I finally decided to have surgery, the next week I was all done. Dr. Rudick and Carmen were awesome to work with and the staff was very kind. After the surgery, I could see the next day, took all the drops as prescribed, never had pain, never had dry eye. 1 month later, I can say it is amazing. Thank you.

From my first meeting with Dr. Shepps, I felt confident that I would be in good hands for my cataract surgery. Warm and friendly, he patiently explained to me the different options available to me. Two weeks ago, I was severely myopic, not able to see anything but a blur without my contacts or glasses. Now, nearly 50 years after wearing my first pair of glasses, I see nearly 20-20 again. I still can't believe i don't need to put on my glasses or insert my lenses when I wake up in the morning. Dr. Shepps is top notch!

I have been suffering from dry eyes for many years and have been prescribed drops that incur hundreds of dollars in copays without getting any relief. I was seen by Dr. Rudick, a well known dry eye specialist,who on my first visit diagnosed my problem and recommend plugs. He explained the rational and the procedure. The insertion of the plugs were quick and painless and my eyes have never felt better and I no longer rely on drops. Too bad I didn't do this sooner. Dr. Rudick and Associate Ophthalmologists run a state of the art office and the support staff was professional and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr Rudick and Associate Ophthalmologists to friends and family. It was definItely worth the trip into the city from Brooklyn.

I definitely recommend Dr. Rudick for Lasik. I went from -2.75 in both eyes to 20/15 in both eyes. He operated great, he was kind, and his staff (Carmen) was also awesome. He has been available literally WHENEVER I needed him. He gave me his cell phone number as well as his home phone incase anything came up. A few days after surgery I had a slight fogginess in my left eye, and even though it was a Saturday, Dr. Rudick opened his shop just for me, and also had me come the next day (SUNDAY!) for a follow up. I know I wouldn't have had that type of service anywhere else. My follow ups have also been great. He just I have never waited more than 10 minutes, and am out of there 5-10 minutes later. I'm really glad I got Lasik, and even more happy I got it with Dr. Rudick.

I have been going to Dr. Rudick for just about a year and I am not being overly dramatic when I say he changed my life. I have excessively dry eyes and Dr. Rudick recommended getting plugs inserted quarterly to produce natural tears. It is nothing short of amazing! My eyes feel well lubricated at all times. I can wear make-up without fear of it running down my face. In addition to all of that, Dr. Rudick and the entire staff at his office are very pleasant and I never have to wait for more than a couple of minutes. I cannot more highly recommend.

The Lady at the front desk is terrible. Bad attitude. So I ordered contact trials and been waiting for almost 3weeks, no body informed me to pick up. I called and asked. The woman just rudely hang up my phone. Then I called again, she said my trails are already to pick up. Then I asked why nobody told me earlier. She said: "How could I know I am not in charge." ???? This is how your front desk treat patients??? So rude I am not gonna choose this place.

I have been hesitant about LASIK for about 2 years and finally decided to get it done this past year. I went to 3 other LASIK consultations with Ophthalmologists around NYC, but Dr. Rudick and his team were very thorough, gentle and informative through the whole process. I was told by other lasik surgeons that I would not be a good candidate for LASIK as I suffered from extremely dry eyes. Dr. Rudick helped prep me for surgery with punctal plugs that made my eyes feel refreshed and moist. I cannot be happier with the post surgical results as I can see better than 20/20 in both eyes!! I recommend him to anyone who is suffering from Dry eyes or is considering LASIK. He is an expert in his field with extensive experience.

It has been a week since my Lasik surgery with Dr. Rudick and I am still continually amazed at how much better my vision is. Every day since my surgery my eyesight has steadily improved. I now have better than 20/20 vision in my right eye and almost better than 20/20 in my left. I wish I had done this surgery years earlier. The office staff downtown was great and conducted thorough examinations prior to the procedure to determine if I was an eligible candidate, immediately prior to the surgery and after. I have been going to this particular office for years and have always felt safe placing my eye care under this practice and Dr. Rudick's care.
