I chose Dr. Coleman specifically because I wanted my surgery to be performed by the best LASIK surgeon in Albuquerque. It's been four days since my procedure, and I am tremendously pleased with my results. I'm able to see everything as clearly as if I were still wearing glasses, but now I can do so without the dusty, smudged glasses. I'm also overjoyed that I can now read the bedside clock without having to put on glasses to do so! Dr. Coleman and his staff are super friendly and welcoming. They made me feel very comfortable about the procedure, and answered all of my questions without pause. Most important to me was Dr. Coleman's confidence in returning my eyesight to 20/20 vision. So after a lot of research, I decided to go with Dr. Coleman for my eye procedure. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made . The staff here was beyond amazing! They are very knowledgeable and even more kind. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and important. All questions and concerns answered making this patient feel less nervous and stressed . My experience at Dr. Coleman's office was wonderful. I was very hesitant about having LASIK due to the possible risks. I work with a microscope every day at work to treat patients. Sharp vision is an essential part of my job. Dr. Coleman gave me the confidence to go forward with treatment. He answered my questions and explained everything very well. He didn't pressure me at all with my decision. I was very impressed with him. The day of the surgery was also a good experience. His office is well run, and he and his staff made everything feel very smooth. Most importantly my results have been incredible. I am able to be active and not worry about glasses getting in the way, and my vision is every bit as good as it was with my glasses. I was 20/20 on my last vision exam. Waking up in the middle of the night and being able to see the time on the clock is my peak moment. I enjoyed the procedure and would recommend it to anyone who has interest. The first time I came into Dr. Coleman's office, he told me that my eyes weren't mature enough and to wait until I got older (four years ago). I recently had my LASIK surgery in August, and am so happy I trusted Dr. Coleman's advice. I was a little skeptical and nervous, even though I had been wearing contacts/glasses since I was 5. After seeing the experience and credentials he had and the extremely happy outcomes of all his patients, I knew I was in good hands. My prescription wasn't even that bad, but when I woke up the next day after surgery it made a world of difference. When I went outside the sky and trees were crystal clear. It is so nice to be able to workout, wake up without glasses/contacts, and not having my two year old's finger prints all over my lenses. I was very hesitant to pursue Lasik since I had terrible vision and a high astigmatism. Dr. Coleman's staff reviewed my records from my eye doctor in Clovis, NM and set up an appointment that worked with my schedule (since I was from out of town). The months leading up to my surgery, the staff answered all of my questions and made me feel very confident in my decision. The day before the surgery I was very nervous, but Dr. Coleman discussed all of my concerns with me and assured me that I was a candidate for the surgery. Of course, the day of the surgery I was quite nervous. The staff, especially Samantha, were very comforting and put me at ease. The surgery was painless and quick. The next day I came in for my follow-up and I saw better than I previously did with glasses! It has been almost a month since my surgery and the staff continue to follow-up on my progress. I am very appreciative of each member of Dr. Coleman's team and the wonderful experience that I had. Not only am I extremely happy with the surgery, but I cannot rave enough about each member of the staff. I just wish I would have gotten Lasik years ago!

Before LASIK, I had worn glasses/contacts for about 12 years (since I was in 6th grade). You get so used to the inconvenience of glasses and contacts and don't realize how infuriating the whole thing is until you no longer need them. I went to Dr. Coleman after recommendations from my cousin and best friend, and I am happy that I did. Everyone at Coleman Vision is great. They are all so nice and friendly and helpful. I felt so comfortable going into the procedure. Dr. Coleman is amazingly talented. There was never even a consideration for me to look into another LASIK office. When I was having problems with dry eyes, a very common side effect right after the surgery, they were so helpful to find the lubricating drops that would work best for me. I would recommend Dr. Coleman to any and everyone.

I couldn't be happier with the care I received from everyone at Coleman Vision. The team is friendly, attentive and oh-so-very patient. I was so nervous on the day of my surgery and, at 25, haven't really had to endure anythinggg without my mom by my side. I had a great experience! They treated me like family and still treat me like family. I went in they made everything so easy made me feel like I was at home. The whole team was great! They didn't make me feel like another number they really made everything warming that I felt like family and part of the team. They explained everything so well and were there from start to finish and even in between. I had to get more drops without questions they were there for me the day before Christmas Eve to make sure I got taken care of. I can't express how great of a team they have. I even had to take my daughter with me one day and they made it seem like she was the patient and took care of her as well making sure she was comfortable. I highly recommended! The place: From the moment you walk in the door into the beautiful waiting area you know it's going to be a stress-free and professional experience. The people: The staff are warm and welcoming and are just fantastic people and will put you at ease with their cheerful and considerate demeanor. Dr. Coleman is amazing and will explain the procedure and answer any questions that you have. Your eye examination: They will examine your eyes and will inform you if you are a viable candidate for the procedure. This is super quick and you will just look into some machines so they can map and examine your eyes. If you are a candidate they can set up your appointment for the procedure when you are ready. Day of the procedure: You will be brought in and sat in a very relaxing waiting area and given your kit for after the surgery. You will also be given your Xanax at that time. For anyone that does not like to take medicine that makes you "loopy", have no fear. You won't feel any physical sensations but it makes it easier for your eyes to be open when they are doing the procedure. You will then go to the pre-op room and relax in there. Then you will be led into the procedure room and will lay down on the chair. They will give you numbing drops then. I'm not exactly sure how long the procedure took but I can tell you it only felt like a minute or two at the most, that's how easy they make it on you! During the procedure you will see a ring of lights and just stare at the reference point and then it's over just like that! No pain or discomfort, some people feel pressure but I didn't experience that. Even if you do it is described as lightly pressing on your eye, again I never even felt that. You are even prescribed a nap after the procedure, I'll take that prescription any day! Results: Best decision I have ever made. It has been almost a week and I am still amazed at how clear I'm seeing!

I can remember needing to wear glasses as early as my elementary years but since my vision was so bad i.e., +/- 20/200 in both eyes, i chose never to wear them since they were so thick. As I got older, i can remember squinting at everything i looked at, which caused me altercations growing up. As soon as I could afford and wear contact lens, that became my choice to see clearer. I used them for over 35 years. I am now in my "50's" and my daughter decided to look into Lasik procedures since she inherited glaucoma from her father's side of the family. A dear friend of her's got Lasik first by Coleman Vision and he is very satisfied with his results. With knowing that, she decided to get it done and today she is very happy and also satisfied. I finally decided to have my procedure done this past August and I am still healing. I also opted for the Monovision which my brain is still adjusting to the change. I do notice on a daily basis that my visions getting clearer. I believe I have made the right choice by going to Coleman Vision. Surgery was pretty quick and straightforward; doesn't hurt or anything like that, it just gets a little blurry during the procedure but nothing major. The care and attention that I received with Dr. Coleman was excellent! They take such good care of their patients! The Lasik procedure was explained, each eye exam was explained, and this helped reduce anxiety. Everyone in the office was extremely helpful! The actual procedure took about 10 minutes and it is done with a magnificent view of the mountains. Dr. Coleman explained every step of the procedure and was very re-assuring as the procedure was being completed. I had -3.5 eye prescription on both eyes and when I went back for my post-procedure check-up my eyes were 20/10! I have never seen better, my life is now viewed in HD! I never knew how bright and wonderful the colors outside really were! my contacts and glasses did them no justice! I would recommend Dr. Coleman to anyone who is thinking of doing this procedure. I had been putting off getting Lasik surgery for a while. I ended up going to Dr. Coleman after exhaustive Googling and several recommendations from coworkers and other relations; turns out he's a popular guy. I was happy to know that I could be excluded from eligibility after an initial screening; he's picky and that works for me. I was run through the battery of viability tests and passed (they show you what they're looking for in a candidate and how your eyes compare). I had thought my astigmatism would exclude me, but the factors are more dynamic than whatever you've heard. Surgery day was a blur, no pun intended. Fast, painless and a prescribed nap afterward, what else are you asking for?! I'm 9 weeks on the other side and he's transformed my very poor vision w/ astigmatism into 20/15 fighter pilot level eyesight. It should be noted that Dr. Coleman was there for every step of the process, he's not just a spokesperson for other doctors; he's in there analyzing patients, performing surgeries and honing his craft; his passion. They've done a better job at following-up than me. I feel honestly cared-for and appreciated. If you're considering someone else, please do yourself a favor and consult with Dr. Coleman as well, it's important to do this correctly. Good luck!

My prescription was really bad and I was told by multiple eye doctors that I would never be a candidate for LASIK. Dr Coleman reassured me that I was indeed a candidate, though it could take a few touch ups to get them perfect. I got them done in May, 2019 and I am happy to say I am seeing 20/20! It’s the best thing ever to roll out of bed and be able to see. Dr Coleman and his staff are absolutely amazing. They make you feel like family and constantly check up on you after surgery. You can chose many less expensive places, but you will not get the experience you do at Coleman Vision.

So far, so good. I had my lasik done about a week and a half ago, and so far the experience with Coleman at my side has been fantastic. Not only is Dr. Coleman a fantastic surgeon and human, his staff has also been incredibly kind, supportive, and assertive in their helpfulness. 5 stars, 10/10, would recommend to anyone most definitely. Addendum: 2 months in and my halos are fading away while my vision is staying crystal clear. I'm rediscovering my love of nature because I can see details on birds, individual leaves in trees, and insects on plants again.

I had been unsure about my candidacy for LASIK surgery due to the amount of astigmatism in my left eye. My husband, who had also had his LASIK surgery performed by Dr. Coleman in 2007, encouraged me to pursue talking to him about my candidacy. The staff at Coleman Vision was incredibly professional and I really appreciated how warm they were. They were very reassuring throughout the screening process the day before my scheduled surgery. I felt more at ease about the process after having been walked through the entire office and the surgery process by the staff. I first went to Bernitsky because my dad had another type of surgery there. However, Bernitsky's machine couldn't fit my bone structure; an anomaly that rarely happens. That is when I went to Coleman. He was able to do my lasik and it has been on of the best decisions of my life. Great friendly staff. The environment there was so comfortable. I have had contacts for the last15 years, so waking up "blind" was the norm for me. Aside from getting out of bed and stumbling straight to the bathroom to "put my eyes" in, I was also use to the constant worry of fallying asleep w/ my contacts, not being able to particpate in water sports (comfortably) and always having "something" in my eye. None the less, I was still very skeptical about getting LASIK done. My father-in-law is in eye doctor in NM and finally convinced me to get corrected vision, under one condition-- I NEEDED to go to Dr. Coleman, because he was the best-of-the-best. Although I lived in Colorado, I knew my father only had my best interest in mind and so I made the easy flight to NM. From Dr. Coleman's office to the staff, my experience was phenominal. Everything was great! I have been wanting to get Lasik for years and knew that i would only get it done with Dr. Coleman. I had only heard great things about him and his procedures and my eye doctor strongly suggested that i see him first.
