I have been a patient of Dr Kung since 1998 when myself and two sisters all had lasik surgery on the same day after our mom had it done. I had a retinal vein occlusion in 2004 and Dr Kung treated me immediately and restored most of my vision. Been seeing him every 6 months for 14 years or so and am always impressed with the new technology and tests they have to ensure my vision remains stable. Always takes the time to explain what they’re doing and answers any questions I may have. As a 46 year old person my vision is extremely important and there is no one else I would trust my vision with besides Dr Kung and his team. Highly recommend.

Doctor Joshua C. Yu, like 95% of the doctors out there, is all about the money. He did not dilate my eyes properly. Hence, he misdiagnosed me by saying that there is nothing wrong with my eyes. He gave the same diagnosis to my mom. However, when my mom went to another ophthalmologist, he told her that there is scar tissue within her left eye. As in my case, when I went to another ophthalmologist, she said that I have a mole within my right eye. Me and my mom's experience with Dr. Yu was terrible. 99% of the time, his back was turned as he was talking to us. Furthermore, he submitted my claim incorrectly by submitting it as preventive, not medical. Hence, I was billed over $400.00. I do not recommend the Kung eye center. You are better off going to an optometrist that is not associated with the Kung eye center.

Love, love love this place. If it wasn’t for them I would have lost my mind. From being told nothing was wrong from Another eye doctor to Dr Kung telling me I had a cataract was a blessing. I wasn’t losing my mind. Had the surgery and I can See perfect now. The care you receive here is wonderful. His staff is wonderful. Everyone at the front desk actually has personalities and actually acknowledges you and engages. Some offices have the nastiest people greeting you. NOT HERE. The women are personable. I recommend this office to anyone with a problem. You will be happy you took my advice as well as all the other positive reviews. Thank you

I’ve been a patient for several years. I’m an RN and have decades of experience working in ambulatory offices. I always feel confident in Drs Kung and Chen’s judgment and knowledge when it comes to taking care of my multiple eye issues. They always provide much appreciated education and will answer all my questions. I always feel reassured when I leave the practice. The front desk staff is always professional and pleasant. I strongly recommend this practice.

I had a wonderful experience with Kung Eye academic eye center. Dr Yu and his team are all very kind and pleasant. I was super anxious with the procedure but Dr Yu patiently explained all the concerns and questions I had before the procedure. On the day of the procedure Dr Yu walked me through the entire procedure and reassured me that it was going well after each step. He had excellent bedside manner and very knowledgeable, he made the entire procedure pleasant. The results are great! I would recommend Dr Yu to all my friends and families!

This is one of the most unorganized offices I have been to in a long time. Dr. Arnoldi did my exam and was very rushed. Not thorough at all. I bought glasses online with the prescription he gave me and well when they came in they hurt my eyes and they gave me a headache so bad I had to return them. Not to mention their office staff can’t even do their jobs right. I asked for a ONE YEAR SUPPLY of MONTHLY contacts. I get 6 months of contacts instead. Now my allowance is used up and I have to pay out of pocket for more. A good office would have called me and told me if I wanted a full year, I would have to fork out a little more cash. But they didn’t because they don’t care and are content doing the minimum and sending people on their way... and that’s why I’m here writing this review. Never going back to this place. Will drive an hour to go to my old eye doctor. Thanks for wasting my time.

Great experience with Dr. Kung and his team. I had a cataract surgery a couple of years ago. My eyes have very high prescription of myopic. Dr. Kung placed the implants with the accurate prescription while doing the cataract procedure. Now I don't need to wear the heavy glasses any more. Thanks Dr. Kung for the surgery and all the regular follow up exams till now.

This is the worst doctor/ophthalmologist office. We went here for my fiancé and while there, the doctor kept his back towards us most of the time while talking to us just typing on the computer. He put some kind of drops in his eyes and didn’t tell us what they were so we weren’t sure if it was what he was prescribed or not and wondered when to start his drops or if he gave him the first dose. He also did not tell us the diagnosis. He told us we need to come back in a week and I asked if there would be a recheck fee or we have to pay the deductible again and he said it was a law that we had to pay the full deductible again which is not true. Then all he said to us was that he called the prescription into our pharmacy and walked out of the room and we weren’t sure if we were done or not. I called the next day to find out what the diagnosis was and she told me she could not give me that information even though my information is on his chart to do so then went on so rudely to ask me why I wanted to know what his diagnosis was. When they finally gave my fiancé his diagnosis over the phone it was not what he was being treated for because the medication he was prescribed, which was a steroid, does not treat that diagnosis (it was comfirmed by the new doctor). When we wanted to get his records she said we would have to pay a fee or it would have to be sent to the new doctor and would have to sign a record release form. When my fiancé got there to sign the forms they told him it would take 30 days and he had the appointment with the new doctor that afternoon. We have never had a worse experience at a doctors office and I truly was concerned for my fiancé's eyes until he saw the new doctor who confirmed the medications were helping him and the diagnosis was incorrect. I will never recommend this ophthalmology office. It was more than a horrible experience.
