I decided to go for Lasik about a month ago. One of the first places to come up on google was Morristown Ophthalmology. I went in for a free consultation and instantly knew this was the place. The facility is beautiful, probably the nicest doctors office I've ever visited and they have seriously high tech equipment I've never seen before. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I'm on my 3rd day recovering from Lasik and doing very well. My post visit determined I have 20/15 vision, an amazing success. I'd like to thank Dr. Reisman and his staff for being so nice and making this surgery as easy and comfortable as possible.

Dr. Reisman is the absolute top of professionals in his field. From the first moment of Lasik consultation through one month follow up last week, I have been in the hands of a complete major league pro. I had worn glasses since I was 7 years old, and contacts since the age of 13. I had never really seen perfectly clear with glasses or contacts. I know this in hindsight because Dr. Reisman performed my Lasik surgery last month and I now see 20/15 in my right eye and 20/20 in my left! The crispness and clarity of my vision now literally brings a smile to my face every day. It feels like a miracle every single day. I wake up, look right out my window and see birds on the tree branches. I can read street signs from half a block away and can read the coffee shop menu from the back of the line. It's absolutely awesome. As for the procedure, I have had dental procedures that took many painful hours and took weeks to recover from. Lasik was ridiculously quick and easy...and painless! My surgery was at 3pm on Friday. I happily drove myself to my follow up appointment at 9am the next morning. I took two Advil when I was told to, but I don't really think I needed to. No halos, no dry eye, no complications, just crystal clear beautiful vision. Dr. Reisman has well-earned his reputation as "the guy to go to" for Lasik in North Jersey. Don't hesitate to trust your eyes in his very skilled and capable hands.

I just had Lasik done for both my eyes, and I couldn't be happier that I chose Dr. Reisman. I've been near-sighted for nearly 30 years; glasses and contacts were part of my daily life. With my heavy seasonal allergies, that meant I had to wear glasses for spring, parts of summer, and most of fall. Needless to say, that meant being limited on activities and being worried whenever I traveled: did I bring enough contacts and glasses? What if my glasses broke? I knew of Lasik for years, but the idea of LASER + EYES was a mental block that I couldn't get over. Turns out I needn't have worried. A couple of weeks ago, when I had to throw away yet another pair of contacts because of allergies, I decided to book a consultation. A quick Google search turned up Morristown Ophthalmology nearby and a quick call later, I was set up for a consultation. From the moment I walked up to the front desk to when I left, I was met by the friendliest and most professional medical staff I've ever met. That really helped put me at ease. Christine (sp?) in particular was very patient in explaining everything to me. I had a lot of questions—about pain, discomfort, healing time, and the technology (I'm an engineer, so I was interested in all the tidbits, too). She explained everything to my great satisfaction without trying to sell the procedure; she stressed to me how important it was that I was comfortable with everything. (Side note: the office was open, well-lit, and clean. There was a comfortable waiting area, a display area for glasses, and a special room for the Lasik machine. Every machine/equipment and corner were clean and well-kept. They definitely doesn't skimp on details.) A pre-screening after the consultation was done to see if my eyes were healthy candidates for the procedure. This part was pretty similar to a fitting session for glasses. All painless and easy, and every staff member continued to be patient and clear about every step. I also met Dr. Reisman at this point, who was very nice and spoke very gently, putting me further at ease. I came in for the Lasik procedure a week after the pre-screening. Digital images of my eye were taken (which the Lasik machine uses to constantly adjust for eye movement—very cool.) Then I was given booties and a cap, and the option of taking Valium to calm my nerves, which I took just in case (and it really helped me rest after I got home). The Lasik room was very clean. There is a lie-down seat sandwiched between two machines. There are two steps to the procedure (which I won't try to explain here lest I give incorrect info), but the chair swivels between the machines from one step to another. This minimizes the time of the operation and any movement, and as a patient, the quicker, the better. I was only in the Lasik room for maybe 10 minutes. The actual laser part was very short; a nurse (Daniella) very helpfully counted down the 34 seconds it was on each eye. Most of the time I was staring at a flashing red light and my vision went from blurry to blurrier and back. There was no pain and my eyes were always well-moisturized. The only slight discomfort was a little pressure on the eyes at the beginning of the procedure, but it's like what you'd feel when you push your swim goggles on, so it's not a big deal. The night of the operation was probably the most uncomfortable after the Lasik; it felt like an overly thick contact lens is in your eye. But Valium helped me sleep it off and the next day, I was seeing things faraway with my own eyes and feeling much better! Now, there's a bit of a haziness (like dirty contacts or being under water) in the beginning, but it clears up quite a bit in even just a day. The discomfort is vastly improved after 24 hours, so much so that I mostly forget about it. I really want to thank Dr. Reisman and his entire staff for making this experience so much easier than I could have imagined. I think it's natural for anyone to be hesitant about Lasik, but the team there is absolutely wonderful, and I can assure you that it's worth it!

Thanks for the weapons-grade vision! It’s still better than 20/20 over a year later. Highly recommended! This office uses top notch Lasik technique and in-house technology that’s Air Force and NASA approved. Dr. Reisman is a tenured professional. His experience in the field, no BS answers, and honest approach inspired confidence. His staff was top notch and made the consultation, surgery and follow-ups a breeze. Dr. Jasani, Daniela, Haley, and Christine were the icing on the cake — they are awesome and true professionals who made coming back for follow-ups something to look forward to.

Dr. Reisman has done two surgeries on my eyes. I would go to him again before any other doctor in any city. Not only is he a fabulous doctor...but he is so patient. He gives you the time you need and does not rush his patients out. Eye surgeries can be complicated and scary. WIth Dr. Reisman I went into surgery trusting him fully and understanding what the procedure was all about. I highly recommend him. Not only is he great but the entire staff is so friendly, helpful and available as well to answer many questions. This office is very sopohisticated. All in all I would have to say he is beyond 5 star rating.

I have been seeing Dr. Reisman for years, starting with reading glasses and now for contacts and progressive lenses. He is thorough and his office staff are nice and helpful. His new office is beautiful and while I was in the waiting room I watched him perform a LASIK procedure through a glass window. Really cool.

Christine & Daniela were phenomenal! So professional, helpful and patient with all my questions about Lasik. They were absolutley wonderful. Dr. Reisman was also great- very calm, professional and nice demeanor. Also answered my questions. My Lasik surgery went well and I'm continuing my follow up visits. I would definitely recommend Dr. Reisman and Morristown Opthalmology. The office is nice, up-to-date and clean.

I have been pleased with my Kamra inlay. The girls in the office were so kind and helpful. Took me to 2 weeks to be able to see close up. Far vision was amazing. I would highly recommend anyone who is interested in the Kamra inlay. Dr. Reidman did an amazing job!
