Dr Heimmel is amazing at his job had a severe eye problem he did everything to find the cause of it and find the means to cure it also makes you feel comfortable while he’s examining you his staff is extremely helpful in every way, his surgical coordinator Samantha boumpani is exceptional at her job insurance issues are resolved prompt scripts are ready by the time you get to pharmacy and friendly to talk to never hesitates to help you A+ in my opinion

Awful! I do not recommend at all. Overbooks consistently.. I was under the assumption that I was going to have surgery at the end of the month and awaiting insurance pre-auth only to find out that nothing was submitted as promised. The only reason I gave them one star is because I had to or it wouldn't post

I normally do not post reviews, but I have been coming to this doctors office for years now and everytime I leave angry. The doctors are great and well versed in their field. However the receptionists are terrible. They have the worst attitudes and constantly mess up my contact orders then act like I'm at fault. Needless to say, I will be switching eye doctor offices.

Dr. Nadi was downright condescending. I've never been treated so rudely. The office staff scheduled me for the wrong doctor/service, so I had to return to the next day. Despite the inconvenience, I returned. Dr. Nadi, instead of answering my question, decided to turn on her "I'm talking to a stupid 8 year old". She told me all about everything I didn't ask and then dismissed me. I will be looking for another doctor.

Dr. Nadi has been great in identifying & solving my eye allergy. But my daughter did not have so good experience with Dr. Kong's prescription. Dr. Kong changed prescription & gave wrong contact lenses. At the end insurance did not pick up the tab for the wrong lenses and neither Freehold Ophthalmology. Hope they will change their attitudes especially when they are at fault.

I've had a great experience with Dr. Gershenbaum, who was friendly, thorough and informed. However, it is my fourth time visiting this office and I have to wait over an hour to be seen for an appointment that was booked 3 weeks ago. This happens consistently whenever I come. I've also found most of the receptionists to be rude and condescending.

I wish that I could give half a star because this place is horrible. I went there for a regular eye exam so I could order more contacts. First, I went there and they dilated my eyes and DIDN'T ask or tell me what they were doing. I go to put my contacts in to leave and the doctor goes "I wouldn't put those in" MEANWHILE I have to drive home. No warning or anything maybe I would have brought my glasses if they decided to tell me what they were doing. Barely could see on my way home and it's been two weeks AND STILL counting on my contacts to come in. I called twice and left messages and still no one has contacted me back. Negative stars from me.

This is my first visit to the office. I was not sure what to do and where to go. I am lucky to find one. The staff and especially Dr.Heimmel is so helpful. I was a bit scared at first. He explained everything I need to know Since I am getting older, I need to visit a reliable office regularly. I am glad to find this hospital. Thank you so much

TOP notch doctors .. professional staff.. and care that is unbelievable. Being someone with Keratoconus I searched all over the state looking for a corneal specialist and after a long process I found Dr. Naadi and all I can say is life changing... from the moment I called to set up my first appointment (staff had so much information and knowledge) and after my first visit I never felt like I was in such good hands.. I have been to all offices and the care and staff are very professional and clean. After countless visits, surgeries (intacts, corneal transplant, and crosslinking) I not only have the most amazing doctor/practice to look after me they have become family to me. The type of place you can call any hour of the day and they always take care of me and have answers to make me feel comfortable and at ease. Not only will they go above the with medical end they will make you feel comfortable taking care of your prescriptions, insurance and billing questions, and setting up anything you need for a surgery. I am so amazed by the progress I have made and it has surely changed my quality of life Please look no further if you are looking for doctors and staff that have the most amazing knowledge skills and abilities..

Have been here three times and wanting to shoot myself for being here this third time. Last time waited over 2 hours. This time. Called ahead to see if they were ru,ing behind. No you will be seen right away. It is now going on an hour. Drs are rude, inexperienced. ..terrible. will be looking for another new eye Dr in stea. We moved here about a year ago. Do not go here!

The doctors here know what they're doing. Dr. Naadi performed my mothers corneal transplant. My mom went from being legally blind from a different doctor's surgery to seeing again within weeks. My mom is always talking about what a nice doctor she is.

DO NOT GO HERE! Worst experience ever. I’ve been wearing contacts and going to various doctors in my insurance plan since middle school without issue. The doctor is nice but the rest of the staff here are nasty and rude. They charge a way too much if you get contacts through them, and even charge an insane “fitting fee”. You can’t get a human being on the phone when you call. And even though it’s the law, they will refuse to give you your prescription if you ask for it. I had to fight with them for a month to get my script to take somewhere else bc they kept giving me a glasses prescription when I only wear contacts and never even discussed glasses with them.

My boyfriend has complained numerous times regarding the staff's lack of courtesy in returning phone calls to successfully take and process orders for contacts. My boyfriend unfortunately has a condition consisting of thinning of corneas, and it is pertinent he receives his prescriptions in time to aid in vision assistance. My boyfriend also recently went to the ophthalmologist Dr. Nadi in June, and was informed then by the ophthalmologist Dr. Nadi that he didn't need an updated contacts prescription due to his vision being stable, however, did not fill his prescription, which at that time, was expired for nearly two years. My boyfriend was under the impression that he would be able to order contacts from Freehold Opthamology's Contacts Department with his expired prescription due to opthamologist's recommendations and due to contacts department being located at the same office. My boyfriend has attempted to call to obtain updated contacts, unfortunately due to losing them, and has not been able to receive a returned phone call in a timely fashion. Upon my boyfriend speaking with the receptionist and supervisor January to complain regarding the customer service, it was my understanding the poor customer service was not addressed, and they refused to contact Dr. Nadi to see if an prescription could be obtained. As someone who also has vision issues, I would be concerned about receiving services from this provider. My boyfriend as a result will be seeking services from another provider.
