I must say I was there with my wife getting my sons glasses and the young lady that took care of us with long black hair and her co worker with blonde hair were very helpful in explaining me and my wife why our child needed certain things to see better and helped us choose great glasses... will absolutely recommend this office and both girls are amazing

I was there last Friday morning with my daughter and was helped by dark skin girl in the optical with long black hair that was really nice to me and my daughter and helped me choose the correct frame for me 3yr old daughter. She took the time to explain everything and her service was amazing. I will return with my boys next moth very happy with the service in the optical.

I got my lasik surgery in this office with doctor Icasiano and I couldn't have been better. The doctor was very nice and the staff who answered the phone was knowledgeable and courtesies. Everytime I came in for my follow ups the tech I was greeted and as how I was feeling. It has been a few month since my surgery and I can tell you my vision is perfect. I really liked my experience at Clifton Eye Care

This place is horrendous! My daughter was seen at the Main Avenue location last week, waited 45 minutes to be seen. Her appt was @ 1:30 and didn't leave 4:45! This was an annual eye exam. I made numerous appointments with them for each member of my family. Someone called on Friday evening to confirm my son's appointment and left a message in rapid fire spanish. Keep in mind that we are English speaking and our voice mail message is in English. The only reason why I knew who it was is because I heard my son's name and eye doctor. I'm not familiar with any eye doctors in the area so if anyone knows of a good doctor and efficient staff please post.

This people are very unprofessional. Most their assistant are so disrespectful. Doctors keep cancel the appt and instead of reschedule the appt to the closets one they give you like for a month later or sometimes you show up to the appt and the doctor is never there. Many getto people here. Walk away. P.S they rip you off with the glasses they said the insurance only cover for 69.00 dollars and that i have to paid the balance of 342 i really doubt that and i went to another place, the Eye Drx in bloomfield on broad street to order the glasses for my surprise they cover the same glasses and the only balance i paid was 37 dollars. I went back to tell them after i order the glasses for them to explain to me how in their offices won't cover and until this day i never hear from them. Bunch of rip off people. Take your insurance to a better place.

I love this place!! not really sure why there are so many bad reviews for this pediatric center They are very efficient and friendly, I bring my daughter every couple months for the opthamologist Dr burrows and they treat my daughter with love, From the moment you walk in they greet you with smiles especially the new staff , the wait is not that long, even the Dr technicians are great they help my kid feel comfortable during the whole process. If I could give more then 5 stars I would keep up the great work.

One star is too good for them. Horrible, lazy, incompetent staff. They need some serious training in customer service and as well as proper policy and procedures of a medical office. They are all clueless on how a practice should be ran. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I will never bring my family here again.

I would never recommend this place this place robs people for there money never give them what they need. I got my 2 year old daughter glasses they were bad quality lens were falling off. So I went over to tell them what happened they gave a larger frame so lens don’t fall just temperoraly until they get new frames. They said the were gonna call until they call so I called after few weeks they said they have no order in. For replace and my daughter is stuck with no glasses what kind of place is this. Please people don’t take ur kids there. Unless u want there vision to go worse because that what they would do to them.

Had an appointment today for my brother at 12:15 arrive at 12 pm for them to say we are on the system but cannot be seen by doctor because they are booked. The lady at the desk pulls some strings because my bro needs this to play volleyball which the season started. She tells us come back at 1:30 pm and we return at that time for them to say sorry will need to re schedule appointment to April. Why waste our time first off had the appointment at 12:15 and respected the time shift to 1:30. Very unprofessional on your behalf. Also a lot of elderly can tell are unhappy since it was 1:40 folks waiting since 1 p.m for their appointments. Learn to actually follow through with your appointment schedule if not call ahead of time for us to re schedule because this is highly unprofessional. Stop taking money for granted period!

I made a follow up appt with for my special needs daughter 6 months ago for today at 12 pm ... I missed a vm to confirm my appt and called back. Apparently, some mix up and my confirmation didn’t happen. Therefore, they cancelled my appt. I live 40 min away with 3 kids and dr appts throughout the week. I’m going away next week and won’t return till when school starts ... I can’t reschedule and all they kept saying was “This is the policy!” They had no care or consideration for my situation. Before this I had problems with my other daughters glasses causing me to come back 3 times (takes me almost 1 1/2 hour back and forth each time) also my parents are having issues as well. Now I will def find new eye dr for my whole family! Never ever again will I step foot here !!! Supervisor was only concerned about wether or not I received a text messsge confirmation ... that was her whole problem ... didn’t care at all how this affected me or my daughter who needed this appt before school. I only gave 1 Star because I liked dr. Burrows

I had an appointment @7:45am, it is 9:10 and we still waiting. I spoke with a girl in the desk and they told my appointment was at 8, but I have to wait a least 10 more minutes to see the doctor. Horrible service. Update Finally we finished, they call us at 9:20, doc showed 9:25 and we walk out at 9:31.

Despite the reviews, i made an appt because the office was convenient. They gave me an appt within a few days of my call and had great hours! The place was packed, but i was seen on time. All of the staff was very pleasant and helpful. They had a very structured routine process with the patients. The Dr was so nice, and very down to earth. I was very pleased with the services i received.

I have to keep calling them to find out any information. I paid out of pocket a lot of money for some bendable glasses only for them to break and we're supposed to take two days to fix.. we are on week one.. I was also told my insurance doesn't pay for glasses and I went elsewhere and got the glasses for free.. this place is horrible and will never take my kids back

Waited 1/2 hour only to be told the doctor wasn't going to be there for another 1/2 hour and that there are 4 kids in front of us. Why not give someone a courtesy call and say that your 1:15 appointment is not 3:15 and just arrive then. I liked this doctor but will look elsewhere now.

My first time at this office. I arrived with my daughter 30 minutes early to my and filled out the paperwork, finally after 30 minutes of placing the charts on their counter and after the entire staff finish chit chatter finally they took my chart. It wasn't until 45 minutes later that I was called in to a room. This whole time I was the only patient in their office but they where so busy talking about their personal life and eating at their desks that I was not acknowledge at all. I'm very disappointed and I don't recommend this office.

Went here ignoring the reviews and i absolutely regret it. Paid $200 consultation fee(said 200 will go towards any procedure that will need to be done or w.e), went in 30 min before my appt, was seen 30 min after my appt time and left 5 minutes after. The doctor went in talking about me needing glasses when I was there because of an eye injury and because i had black vision 5 times already. After saying this to him, he seemed lost and confused, maybe he wasnt informed? Not to mention they dialeted me and they shouldnt have considering my injury and black vision. He checked and said i had 20/20 vision and that I was okay. ..i wear glasses. Told me to come back if it happens again. Although my vision went black 5 times already.. then he gave a 20 percent discount card on glasses and walked out and i honestly was left confused. I went on to the patient portal and sent a message to the doctor so he can atleast give me an explanation as to why my eye kept having black vision(dont expect him to reply tbh) Now today, i called because it happened again and this time i have red streaks in my eye. I explained that the doctor said to come back if it happens and they want me to pay a $100 follow up fee. I explained how the doctor seemed lost and i honestly was not satisfied with the results of my visit but that still he said to come back.They offered to make me an appt with another doctor who (i forgot how they worded it) but basically deals with injured eyes. So then the doctor i saw had not one clue of what to do with me? And they said no no but you werent happy so you can come next week and pay the fee for the new doctor. Im so so disappointed. Im not going to pay $100 to be seen for 5 minutes and be shoo'd away again. Never coming back here.

I read all the reviews regarding 403 Clifton Ave office. Its seems the new office they opened on Main Street in Clifton NJ is no better! The staff leaves you standing there waitng while, they're chatting about their weekend and personal crap. And when you intrerput them; they seem annoyed! I wanted to change my contacts prescription from multi to single vision and I had to take an eye exam?? Really why? I was just there a month ago on 06/07/14 use that information. After I spent 10 mins on hold waiting for someone to explain the reason why I needed another eye exam Cesar gets on the phone. He explained the reason why I needed to get another exam which really didn't make any sense but I still made the appt.He failed to tell me that it will cost me another $80.00 to re-exam my eyes. When I got to my appt I couldn't see the doctor, because I didn't have my checkbook with me to pay the $80.00 I was livid. Do you think this was something that should have been mentioned to me over phone when I made the appt with you CEASAR! Then I asked so when are my contacts that were supposedly ordered on 06/07/14 arriving with the orginial prescription? Ha! they were NEVER order! Nice job again! so I asked to speak with Jennifer Ariola who is my Optometrist, but she refused to speak with me Really! I asked why the lady behind the counter said "She doesn't discuss fees/prices. Is this how you take care of your patients? Well its Obvious they don't care about the patient its all about the money! NOW I understand why I needed another eye exam they wanted more $$ from me! Don't bother with this office, there are many other Optomertirst who really care about their patient's. Once I find one I will post their information for those of you who are still looking for one.

They will charge you 25 $ fee if they are unable to get a hold of you before your appointment or if you try to re-schedule. Dr Burrows did a quick examination on my daughter and did not seem to care that much about her patient.

The customer service staff in this place is terrible. Staff has ZERO people's skills, it doesn't matter what time of the day you go they are more into their own personal BS than into the patients well-being, they have a bad attitude, very rude and unprofessional, they sit you in a room and then just go straight into performing procedures without even reading the chart to be aware of the patient's condition. The wait to see the dr is always endless. I honestly think that the professionalism and expertise of the Drs gets override by the very low quality of their staff.

This place is extremely unprofessional. They’re staff is unethical and are not attentive to details. My mother got glasses and they lied to us for two months, as to why they still weren’t ready. To add, the supervisor was kind and tried to resolve the situation, since the staff below her was giving four different excuses. Well, the glasses were made, but what we paid for is not on her shades. Let’s not add the errors from the surgical department. The surgeon on site is amazing, but I can not say the same for the staff there. They know it’s me when I call, and the avoid the call like the plague. Even heard a “it’s her again” and they’ve hung up on me. Extremely “professional.” I have every right to be upset. Just be straight forward and admit you messed up the order. Now I’m trying to contact them because the order is still messed up, and nothing. Avoid this place like the plague. Not worth your time, your sanity nor your money. The staff needs a seminar on how to be attentive to details, polite and ethical. We’ve been patient and ethical about this all. Accepted the apology and kept it moving, but now to find out the shades are messed up, sucks. Truly need a refund. Sadly time is not returnable. I truly held off on the review giving them the benefit of the doubt. But Damn.

This place is horrible. They use a strong spray to dilate kids eyes when they could simply use eye droplets that won’t burn your eyes. The doctor there is horrible too. I would not recommend this place at all.

I am honestly shocked by the reviews here!! We take my 1 year old here. She has gone 4 times now to have her eyes checked because we have to watch her eye pressure due to other medical conditions. They are always GREAT! We first went when my daughter was only 6 weeks. They are nice and friendly. The wait is alittle long but what doctor isn't now a days. I would recommend them!!!
