After I got my prescription I wanted to order contacts online from separate vendor, who needed a verification of the prescription from Nashua Eye Associates. The vendor's request was denied, because apparently I owed $55, a balance that my insurance didn't cover, which I never knew about until a gentleman from Nashua Eye left me a voice mail and informed me that I am not allowed to buy contacts until I pay my balance. Withing 15 minutes I arrived at Nashua Eye to pay my balance. However, later that evening I received an email from the contacts vendor stating that my order had been canceled because of the denial from Nashua Eye. I have been a customer for over ten years, but I was treated like a thief that is trying to steal $55. A lot of extra trouble, time and humiliation. I will make sure to find a different provider next time around. Very poor customer service!!!!!

My husband had his cataract surgery here. Dr. Desai was his doctor and she was wonderful. She explained his cataract surgery and was reassuring each step of the way. He did great and sees beautifully after surgery. He had his left eye cataract surgery and his right eye about one month later. I have bee recommending Nashua Eye Associates and Dr. Desai to all of my friends and family since our experience. We could not be happier

I have not been there, but my Mother has. She has a condition that makes her sight worped, wavy and not clear. the Dr. checked her out offered some ideas, and also "sold" her eye wear that she could try... to see if could help with TV , reading or Computer... Knowingly that the Blind Association could actually come to her home and offer the same items for free... not 125.00 I hate when Dr's offices take advantage of the elderly.. expecially when it cost so damn much to survive today... Do not respect there ways... Anyone out there needing large numbered calendars, clocks eye protection adn wear.. CAll the Blind association... you do not need a note from the Dr. for even being legally blind.. just a phone call. Don't get RIPPED off! they gave my Mother a Calendar, 2 pairs of eye wear (magnified) a large number clock with a voice telling the time. also a cane! For FREE! I'm not saying that the Dr's aren't good... I just do like to have anyone being taken advantage of! not good Juju!

Worst customer service. And will get shafted on your bill. Don't take my word for it read the reviews.

Have gone for 10 year for the whole family for eye exams and glasses. My wife gets her contact lenses from the Milford office. Great spot

First time at Nashua Eye Associates and hit a home run! Check in at the kiosk was made easier by a nice attendant monitoring user inputs and offering friendly assistance when needed. Dr. Dagianis and assisting medical staff were professional, thorough and efficient. Same experience with the billing department. Joanne T. in the optical department was amazing too. She helped me pick out frames, explained my progressive lens options. On her own initiative, researched my healthcare plan to see if any allowances existed to reduce my out-of-pocket expenses (don't have a separate eye care insurance plan). Much to my surprise, my healthcare provider did have provisions for discounts applicable to frames and lenses. Overall, overwhelmed by the kindness, patience and knowledgeable staff at all stages of my visit. Truly eased my anxiety!!

Thom Froman

See Dr. Shalopyonak here. She is great with my contact lenses and is very friendly.

I had to see Dr. Parikh in Nashua for an eye infection. It was not fun at all but Dr. Parikh was professional and handled the problem in a tough situation. I am very grateful to him and to Nashua Eye to have this kind of expertise in southern New Hampshire.

Needed back up glasses for vacation last minute. Nashua Eye was able to quickly get me in to the doc Saturday morning and on my way. Very professional.

Ruth Miller

Been going to Dr. Riddle for 25 years. He gets 5 stars, however they’ve changed check in to a kiosk and lost the personal touch. You wait forever because of over booking.

Rae Schaller

I have been consistently thrilled with the staff and the care I've received from Nashua Eye Associates over the last 20 years. I even had LASIK done 5 years ago and have been ecstatic over those results as well! I highly recommend them to everyone!

B. D.

Dr. Riddle seemed to actually care the first time I went to Nashua Eye Associates but Dr Wingate was absolutely terrible. Maybe it's his personality but as others have mentioned he is rude in the way he talks and just not pleasant at all. In the future if I can't get Dr. Riddle I will go elsewhere. Staff is great, optical section also very helpful. Wait times here can be kind of long, been four times (2 eye tests and 2 glasses pick up) every time its been busy. Parking is below avereage for the area.

DD Smythe

My parents had cataract surgery here. I brought them to their appointments so I spent a lot of time here. The staff is excellent and the office is well run. My mother and father see great after their surgeries! I'm a huge fan of Nashua Eye

Gautam Shah

I am writing this review while waiting in examination room, Its been an hour waiting inithe room and yet to be seen by the doctor. I wish they wouldn't overbook themselves as we have work as well

I had vision problems for years;[nearsighted& asimatism. after an exam @Nashua Eye Igot new glasses& wasable to read road signs, addresses on buildings& any reading material Ineeded to read.I accidenty sat on my gasses, wrpred theframe& poppred onelense. I called the office& wasimmediately seen I optical. My glasses weretaken to a bck room; shorty after were returned in pefect shape( NO CHARGE for therepairwork since it isincluded in the cost of frm& lenses. Years later my vision bgan t fail.An exam found the cause( cataracts. Surgery was suggested but had to wit tillmy dry eye& inflammation issues were resolved. In the mentime. I ws educated in the cataract removal process.Every questionIhad was answered to my satisfaction Before surreryI had to get my PCP 's authorization( EKG required to be sure I hsd no unknown risk factors. I was again educated on what to expect, preparation for surgery.Nobody ever lost patience w/ me Putting my oncerns to rest wasa priority. Once my dry eye problem was solved, surgey was set.& again I receivedall info needed to do my partinpreparation. On surgery dayI arrived at the reccomendedtimeto check in; forms were filled out& I went the waiting area tillmyturn came. I was awake throughout the surgery I feared thereould be pain or discomfort.Dr Wigate 9 surgeon) assured me that if I felt any discomfortI jut hsadto inform the team. After surgery( in recovery) I wasencouragedto relax & waitfor the anesthesia to wearoff. Nurses kept coming overto check on me. I was helped to dress & released to the care of my designated driver Who wastold to bring me straighthom& allow me to rest/sleep as needed. He was given a sheetof aftercare advice .OncehomeI felt fine & started theafter care as instructed. I hado wear an eye patch till my next appt. At that appt. thre patchwasremoved, theeye examined. No more patch needed.Theentire staff helped me celebrate my joy of having20-20 vision w/ glasse.I have never been treated/ less than kindness& patience at Nashua Eye.My vision( distance) is still 20-20nearly a year later. Follow up exams have shown my dry eye problem has continued to improve& my improved vision has remained 20-20 for the nearly one year since surgery. My next appt (follow-up) is in 6 months & I am confident that my improved vision& eye comfort will remain improved till & after that appt. I want everyone who has vision problems that may be helped by surgery to consult w/ a doctor at Nahua Eye & go ahead w/ whatever treatment is recommended by the doctor there

Took my grandma for an appointment. Gave them her insurance cards. They did the eye appointment then refused to give her a prescription because they are “out of network”. I checked the insurance providers website because we’ve never had an issue before and they are clearly in network. I called and they were so rude. Beware!

Sam Sryth

Took Nana for eye surgery here. Super nice people and Nana is happy!!!

Isabel Alvarez

Dr.Chen is our sons doctor and she is Amazing with him. The staff is rude and the optical department on is horrible. Don't get your glasses here.

Jillie Stimpy

My mother had a great experience here with her cataract surgery. I would recommend Nashua Eye to any friends or family. She sees better now without glasses than she did before with glasses. She is really thrilled.

Richard Stearns

Sonny Dykstra

Great spot for eye specialists and exams. My daughter is a patient here for the pediatric eye doctor who is great.

Keira Ordonez

Erica St Louis

The pediatrician dr are never available and don’t even talk to you when you voice your concerns

MARLITA ALINAYA

I will recommend Dr. Blake to my family and friends, when it comes to eye problem. I just had laser eye surgery. Everything explained well before, during and after the surgery. And now I can read with out using prescription glass.

Curly Cue

My eye doctor. Dr. Coutu is great!

Byron A

I go up to Nashua Eye for eye exams. This place has great doctors and is easier to difficult eye problems that going to Boston.

Jess Gagne

Nashua eye has been my eye doctor since i was a little kid. Today, I tried to call and make an appointment to have my eyes checked out, because I'm having trouble with headaches and eye strain. The woman who answered the phone was just plain rude, and didn't care to help. She informed me that they were booked until almost June. Are you serious? I informed her that this was fairly urgent. I wasn't requesting to be seen the same day, I wanted something next week. She didn't care. I tried explaining what I was experiencing with me eyes, but again, didn't even try to help me. So, I picked up the phone and found myself a new eye doctor. Between the 3 Nashua eye locations, they couldn't have fit me in anywhere? Lousy customer service. So you guys have lost a client. Good job.

Patrick Neal

Worst place. Over priced

John Gorinovich

My father had cataract surgery in the surgery center here. It worked great and he is going to have surgery on the other eye. Amazing!

Caitie Conant

I had Lasik with Dr. B at Nashua Eye. Great experience! Super easy appointment process, great staff, and Dr. B was fabulous. He took extra time and care to assess my eyes and vision needs, and we also had a very good discussion about the risks of the procedure and what I should expect. He was able to fit me in for my procedure quickly. Everything the day of the procedure went very smoothly and now I see 20/20! My only regret is not doing this sooner.

Bill and Zibby Robinson

I brought my mother in today to get her new glasses. The woman who helped us ( Sylvie ) went above and beyond to assist us. If it wasn't for her persistence my Mom would not have been able to receive her discount ( AARP ). We were very grateful for her help.

Mary Davi

I have had a prescription for high power glasses since I was a kid. I have gone to a few different eye doctors and optical glasses shops over the years. I have learned that Nashua eye associates and there glasses shop are the best in the area. Why do I say this? The doctors, I have seen Drs Englehart, sutherland, and coutu, listen carefully to my problems and vision needs. I believe they take time beyond the average better 1, better 2 measurements to make sure they are helping me. This includes for driving long distances, seeing the computer, and very fine detail work like beading. The glasses selection in the shop are attractive. I have been to the offices in Milford and Nashua. I have very pleased with their service! I have returned for 2 year check up and, again, could not be happier with the quality of care!

Sonya Santangelo

Have been a patient here for years . Continual lack of respect for my time has finally pushed me to seek another eye doctor. You are moved to several different waiting areas as if that it somehow makes it seem like you don't sit around as long??

Michelle Geddes

Great eye care, even for people with more medical issues

Cory Nader

Very professional and reliable. Customer for over 20 years.

Joshua Haggerty Sr.

Doctor Patel is the worst experience I have ever had in my life for an eye exam. The absolute worst. This woman was extremely rude and unprofessional. I still received a bill after I refused her services. I wish I could give negative stars for how bad she is...

Forest Frye

Very experienced eye surgeons.

Bill Hill

Dr. Wingate is an amazing dr. He was so gentle while removing my eyeball I barley felt it and they were able to successfully replace it with my new trans species eye implant. His technician Was so nice and sweet and could be a model absolutely gorgeous. All in all absolutely amazing time and now I can say I’m actually part wolf lol.

Caitlin Sullivan

I recently had Lasik with Dr. Blake. He is a great optometrist and good man. I was very nervous before hand but from my first introduction into the surgery through my latest check up he made me very comfortable with the whole process. Each time I went in to the office I spent little time waiting around for the doctor, which is huge for people with busy schedules. Incredible service and a wonderful staff (at both the Nashua & Milford locations). I would highly recommend Dr. Blake for all your eye care needs!

Derek Caswell

Ruslan Nabioullin

Dr. Blake and the reception staff are excellent, but this practice is overcommercialized (e.g., once during my appointment, I was pushed to purchase an OTC product of a particular brand directly from Nashua Eye Associates!).

S Virginia

I had my cataract surgery here last week with Dr. Desai. She did a beautiful job and I see now like I did when I was twenty years old. I can't stop looking at leaves on the trees! Dr. Desai was professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her and Nashua Eye to anyone.

Christine Chandler

Nashua Eye Associates is a great choice if you are considering Lasik surgery to correct your vision. Everyone I met in the office were friendly and competent. The eye surgeon was excellent. Everything was explained beforehand and during the procedure. My surgery went really smoothly, the recovery was quick and easy . The result was a success 20/20 vision. Really no complaints about my experience at this office. Everything was great

Nicholas Barnes

I had Lasik with Dr. Parikh - and can't recommend him highly enough. I was a little apprehensive given my research on the procedure, but Dr. Parikh was clearly very skilled, talked me through the entire procedure in a calming way. It was much easier than expected. The day after the procedure I had better than perfect vision - 20/15, as opposed to being legally blind the day before. It kind of feels like a miracle. From the office staff, nurses, to Doctors I couldn't ask for a better experience.

Jeremy Petravicz

The doctors and staff are great. However unless your appointment is within the first hour of opening, expect to wait at least an hour extra for your appointment to actually finish. They are horrible with time management and routinely overbook.

Sarah BaileyD

David Collera

Had LASIK with Dr Blake and would give the Nashua Eye laser vision correction experience the highest review possible. I love my new vision!

DO NOT GO HERE! They are not there to help you, they are there to scam you out of money, that's why they charge you BEFORE you even go in. Went there for a chalazion under my eyelid. The doctor told me to put a warm towel on it 20 min, for 20 days. I advised him that I already did that, as per my PCP advice. He just said i didnt do it enough. Did it again for 30 days, still there. Called them back, and they want to charge for another visit. This place is filled with scam artists that DO NOT CARE about fixing your problem, only trying to upsell you glasses, or getting that appointment money. LOSERS!

S Gunther Schmidt

I had PRK surgery with Dr Parikh last week. He took time to answer all our questions throughout the process. I was very pleased by how quickly he and he his staff respond to phone calls, emails and post any post surgery emergencies. I was experiencing a lot of pain the day after removing the protective lense (day 7). Holly called me back with good advice. Later, I spoke with Doctor Parikh on the phone (immediately) when the pain didn’t subside. I went in because he wanted to be absolutely sure it was not infected. I was seen as soon as I could get to the office. No waiting. He resolved the pain (a superficial layer from my eye had been removed by eyelid/blinking). My right eye is already 20/20. So was my left eye before I scratched it. But.... Wow, I am so thankful! Dr Parikh goes above and beyond for the care of you and your eyes. Having eye surgery is scary. I am extremely thankful for being so well cared for and the time Dr Parikh and his staff has taken to make sure I am okay. Thank you! Emily

Nancy Cook

Worst check in process I’ve ever seen, I’m middle age and the process is ridiculous if you are at all unable to figure out a computer then you can’t check in. They need to bring back good customer service, they have people that lack any personality and they just don’t care. You are part of the herd mentality in the Nashua office, please go back to caring about your patients.

Shelley

We needed an emergency contact lens while we were on vacation. We waited over 2 hours for them to attempt to handle the situation. They were concerned that we had a balance owed on our account which was not the case at all. They then wanted to know why my husband was 2 months late for his follow-up appointment. I explained that they sold us 6 months worth of contact lenses and they usually change them (and they have been wrong the last 3 times). They were insensitive all about the almighty dollar. I would never recommend Nashua Eye to anyone. I have had billing (overcharges) issues that took a while for them to resolve. This was the last straw. I also don't find their office in Nashua very clean.

Rebecca Kringle

Picked up my daughters glasses here. They have a good selection and the glasses employee was super nice and helpful. She worked for half an hour to make sure glasses were comfortably over my daughter's ears. Definitely recommend!

Susan Cox

Dr. Blake is a great doctor and my cataract surgery was easy and painless. That being said, the pain comes from trying to see the doctor before or after surgery. You will spend an hour on average to see the doctor for 5 to 10 minutes. Today it was running even longer. The practice is poorly managed and the doctors are clearly over-booked. Patients are shuffled from room to room and a 10 to 15 minute wait between each room is not unusual. If your time is valuable or you are at all an impatient person, I would not recommend this practice.

Mariel Mendez

it is a very bad garbage service

On June 8th I visited the Nashua Eye Associates and Dr. Patrick J. Riddle, Ophthalmologist, diagnosed my eye condition as a stye and prescribed me antibiotics. I finished my dose and only the redness and tenderness are gone but the bump on my eyelid still there. I kept on using the warm compresses as he recommended but nothing happened. I paid the full price they asked for the visit as a self-pay ($170). On July 17, I returned to see Dr. Riddle for the same condition as the bump is still there and nothing changed since the first visit except the tenderness… He has nothing to offer me or prescribe me to solve my common condition, only that it might need surgery later if it stays there. I was asked to pay for the follow-up visit the same amount of the first visit, when I asked why, I was told it is a second visit and not related to the first visit by the doctor himself who just told me that he could not do anything for me. I even asked for a % discount and they refused. Absolutely terrible experience with Dr. Riddle as well as the billing department. Really a shame! It is pretty much a joke, I paid $170 x 2 for a first visit and the same for a follow-up visit plus the medication and the compresses, a total of $380 and my eye condition remains the same. Now I have to go see another Dr. who can treat me and pay more. I wanted people to know what happened to me and beware of the clinic who I initially was happy to find close by me but had a total disappointment trying them. What a shame!

I recently had laser eye surgery on both my eyes. Dr . Blake is a wonderful, caring doctor. The staff, surgery center and front desk were very professional. My after care was great with everyone. Everything was explained before my surgery of what to expect. I would highly recommend Dr. Blake for laser surgery. I love my new eyes. No more glasses for me. Yeah!!!! Beverly King

Myra Sinsky

I had cataract surgery here and had an amazing experience. Dr. Desai was a true professional and I see great. I would recommend this organization, from the staff, to the operating center, to the receptionists and doctors, to anyone!!!

Jason Dion

Doctors are great but ordered a years supply of contacts. Received the wrong perscription for the left eye and in order to get the correct lenses I had to drive back down there to exchange them. Was told over the phone in every message I can not receive the correct ones I paid for unless I bring in the wrong ones. Taking time out of my life when they screwed up. I was told it was easier that way. Only for them because they just wanted to lenses back. They should have shipped then to my house and ate the loss but they only cared about not losing money on the incorrect lenses. I will never order from them again. Shame on you Nashua eye associate's.

Jill Stern

Nice place to have in Nashua for eye care. They have specialists in eye surgery from Boston like Dr Callahan that can bring super top notch experience here. I had lid surgery with dr Callahan and was super happy with the results. Busy place.

From the moment I walked in, until I left, I felt well cared for, everyone was very attentive. The doctor, Dr. Blake was concerned and very informative about the cataract surgery I was having. I'm a retired nurse, and I'm very picky about the doctors I choose. Today, I'm going in for my second cataract surgery on my left eye with all of my questions answered and full confidence in Dr. Blake. My right eye turned out perfectly, and I'm very happy with it. I would highly recommend Nashua Eye Association to any of my friends and family.

Joslyn Resten

Wonderful experience with the eye doctors at Nashua Eye. Great selection of glasses with 2 other locations.

Philup Schwien

My wife had LASIK surgery here. My experience with her was it far surpassed her expectations. She was very anxious and but found the day of the surgery to be very relaxed and pretty painless. She is thrilled with how well she sees without her contacts.

Best Docs in NH!

Came for glasses check to Nashua Eye on Saturday. Extremely easy check in booth. My doctor, Dr. Englehart, was easy to work with and I believe did a nice job. My new glasses and sunglasses are comfortable and stylish! One year later glasses are in great shape and I'm booking my appointment for next year

Monique Duda

Extremely frustrated with the level of service. Dr. Setterlund is great - thorough & kind. The rest of the staff we've encountered are not personable at all. The front office staff, whether to us or by observation with other patients, are rude & incompetent. Today when I asked why i needed to wait 2 weeks to see the other doc I was being referred to by Dr. Desai, the front office lady said "how am I supposed to know, I wasn't in the room? " I said, well, just like every other time I'm here the communication is horrible & had to demand a visit sooner. And when asked if I need a 2nd referral for the next visit she said she didn't know. What? I said it's your job to know or find out. Just so rude. Unfortunately, even tho we like Dr. S, we'll be looking elsewhere for future service.

Ginnie Lopez

My dad had his cataract surgery here in both eyes. The staff and nurses were awesome. He was so nervous before and he did awesome and sees great!

Pranav Raval

I have been this place more than 5 times. Every time we visit the place we come out with some type of dissatisfaction. Staff is Okay. No concern about it. Doctor seems to be busy and rushing one after another. I always feel like they do not have enough time to concentrate on patient's concern. Even I ask him a question doctor’s answer is so general that doesn’t mean anything.

Victoria Whitten

From the moment my mother and I walked into this office, the staff treated us rudely. The front desk attendants were snippy, gave us dirty looks, and seemed appalled that she and I were having fun with one another and goofing around. The staff spoke to me as if I had no idea how to fill out paperwork and then, when we were checking out, seemed highly irritated that they would have to slide through two separate credit cards during the payment process. The nurse that attended to me during the eye tests was only slightly more personable than those working at the front desk. She became flustered when she was asking me questions and was snippy. I asked to use the restroom at one point and one of the women at the front desk pointed to a bathroom down the hall before another employee jumped up, interrupted the conversation, and barked at me to use the one near the front entrance. The only bright spot in my visit was Dr. Bunker, who patiently showed me the pictures of my eyeball, which the nurse had taken. I walked into this establishment intending to purchase new lenses and a new frame, I left without purchasing anything due to the absolute rudeness of the staff. I cannot believe how rude the staff as a whole was; I will be going elsewhere for my eye care needs from now on.

Alex Gindi

The staff at Nashua Eye Associates are great! I’ve had a bad experience in the past at a different eye care office and have recently switched to Nashua Eye. Dr. Blake is fantastic! Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of my time. He answers every question I have and in terms that make sense to me. It is obvious that he genuinely cares about his patients and is passionate about what he does for a living. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a new eye doctor! Thanks for everything Dr. Blake!!

Debbie Martin

Jan P

I have been a patient for at least five years. Dr. Sutherland is great. Despite having a tricky prescription he always offers new ideas and products. He is professional and talented. I have gotten glasses at Costco once to try to save money. (I love Costco for other things). If you have astigmatism just don't do it. They did not use Crizal, and frankly my eyes hurt after a few hours, so I had to ditch the glasses. The Crizal lenses are the best and worth the price for the crisp vision one needs to spend all day reading print, as I do. The group of people at Nashua Eye Associates seem to truly care about their patients getting the best care. It is a joy!

Tej Shah

They refuse to give me my own prescription because it is apparently against their own policy to give it to their own patients. It is quite unfortunate that people like Dr. Desai-Bartoli decided that they would rather withhold my own prescription than give me the freedom to buy my lenses at a different location.

Peter Newman

The doctors and technicans here are very good. However the wait times are long and they overbook. Also the check-in process is horrible. It is a kiosk that everyone has trouble using. So much so that they have two people standing at the check-in to help the patients.

Steven T

A little off the beaten path for me in Nashua, but I bring my mother here and am very impressed with the level of service they provided for her cataract surgery. The surgery area is convenient and efficient.

We have had nothing but good experiences at Nashua eye. My family has used each of these locations and we would highly recommend them to anyone. They seem to do it all.

Extremely attentive and caring staff - highly recommend Dr. Blake for LASIK

Rob Mills

I have been looking for a new optometrist for years, and Dr. Blake is FIRST RATE !! The attention to detail and overall experience was first rate from check in, and all the follow-up. It is so rare to feel you are the one ending the visit and that your doctor is not pushing you out the door. I’m still amazed that I didn’t have to wait if that level of service is shown to ever patient. And for you doubters this has happened on every visit!

J P

Kicking myself I didn't do this sooner. Was such a great experience. Easy, painless, quick. Would recommend to anyone considering LASIK to check out Nashua Eye. Dr. Blake was excellent, a true professional. If I had to do it again, I would definitely go to Dr. Blake. Seriously, if you've ever even contemplated LASIK, don't wait any longer! Go see Dr. Blake and Nashua Eye!

Felicity Shelborne

I was pleased with Nashua Eye and my LASIK surgery with Dr. Blake. Dr. Blake and his staff walked me through each step of the way, from the testing and counselling with Brianna (sp?), to the day of surgery of the staff of checks after LASIK. I thank everyone involved and I am absolutely thrilled to not have wear glasses! I would recommend Nashua Eye to anyone and everyone!
