When I was 8 months pregnant I got Bell’s palsy and took medication prescribed by my doctor , but since I had my baby , she’s already going to be 1 year ...every time i smile or yawn only my left eye closes and my right eye doesn’t , I feel very depressed about that . Does anyone know what I can do to fix it ?

I truly wish there was a way to rate lower than just one star. In 2017/2018 I was referred to this organization for a cataract on my left eye. My first encounter was with one of the Sutton Brothers, (I don't remember which one) but after his rude condescending treatment I asked to see another doctor. I then saw Rixen, who did the actual surgery and the second surgery and he became equally rude and condescending. I had a dialogue with their COO, who offered really no help whatsoever. As of this date I am still having considerable problems in the same eye, approximately two weeks ago I tried to reach out to the COO, with no contact from him whatsoever. I am so greatly disappointed in how this procedure worked out and greatly concerned that I'll now have to live with this ongoing deficiency in my left eye. The one and only bright spot in that entire process was the dealings with their on-site doctor of optometry, she seemed very professional and very pleasant. I want to strongly suggest to anyone needing this process DO NOT go here. Take more time if you can and check more resources even if you have to go out of town to do so. I believe strongly you will be very glad that you did.

Nice nurses. Fantastic doctors! Dr. Gregory Sutton is fabulous. Caught the glaucoma in the early stages and nipped it in the bud before it got worse! Can't thank him enough for saving my eye sight and no glaucoma medicine! Perfect job Dr. Gregory Sutton!

I have been going here for treatment of a detached retina, cataract, and glaucoma. The doctors are great. They get you in quickly if it is an emergency and with eyes there are a great deal of emergencies. It is packed all the time due to the fact that eye issues are just a part of age these days. Plan to wait but know that you are getting the best of the best.

Our 5 year old daughter is autistic and we were worried about getting her eyes checked for Kindergarten.. when we went in we had Gail and she was so nice and let Berkley play at first. Then she had her come sit in the chair and she explained everything she was going to do before she did it. She did an excellent job. I was very pleased! Later they sprayed something in her eyes to dilate them and she did great with that as well and was very gentle. Not once did she get frustrated when our daughter didn’t cooperate the first time she asked.. when the dr came in he did just as good a job with her. They were both very patient and open about everything!! Would definitely recommend this place! Thanks for the great experience and making us all feel comfortable!

Dr. Rixen is phenomenal! The entire staff was pleasant during each of my three visits (consultation, procedure, and post op) and I never had to wait long to be seen. I am ecstatic about the outcome of my procedure and so grateful for the staff at ESA for a great experience. Highly recommend!!

Please do not let your local optometrist refer you to these clowns. A nightmare from the word go. We were referred here to get an abscess on the eyelid removed. The local opromatrist wanted it done ASAP. We made the drive to Lincoln for a very expensive eye exam and called it an initial consultation. Prescribed medication that did nothing. A month later the local opromatrist called again to have it taken care of that day, after it broke open. Waited 2 days for a call from these monkeys. After making numerous calls they finally called us and were extremely rude, and set her an appointment a week out. This little epesode is going to end up costing us about a thousand dollars all told for a stye. Go somewhere else if you have the ability!

My husbands appointment today was wonderful. Everyone was polite an courteous an ahead of schedule. The Doctor an staff were direct an too the point and kept him informed of what they were doing as well as the findings. We were early and was made aware of the cafeteria location. Monday they had meatloaf, mash potatoes an gravy that were the best i' had since mom's. Looking forward to the next appointment. Update: by husband Have had my lens in left eye put back in place, now stitches removed, recovered nicely. Went back for checkup about month later, all was good. Dr. Rixon preformed the next step that he had spoken to me about in the first appointment. Dr. Rixon preformed the eye laser surgery (YAG). Was wonderful, no pain. Just like Dr. Rixon said later in the day I no longer had scar tissue blocking my vision. Dr. Rixon and Staff were professional at all times and their actions showed they cared about their patient. They do GREAT work. I would refer Dr. Rixon to everyone. P.S. This is first post I've made in approximately 9 years without the use of glasses. Thank you Dr. Rixon!

Waited an hour by past my appointment time. Was told this was normal. Since I have a brain tumor, concussion and Sjogren's I physically could not wait anymore. I told them I would find another Dr. Omaha, here I come.

I was referred here by my GP because of a retnal tear. I have been to this office 3 times and each visit is more disappointing than the last. It starts in the waiting room where the rude, and poorly trained staff at the front desk call you forward only to find that time and time again there has been some error and they need all your information AGAIN. After check-in I have gotten into the habit of starting a stop watch to see how many HOURS I will wait that given day. When I bring up my concerns about the wait to the staff I am met with apathetic and unapologetic attitudes. My experience here has been nothing short of appalling!

I haven't even been in yet and guess I won't try to. I told the receptionist what day's and times won't work (specifically school let out times, since I'm a single parent) she proceeded to tell me in a condecending time that all doctors are "double and triple booked, if you want to be seen you can have the time I have, or go some where else". Thanks for the advice lady, I will.

I underwent the LASIK procedure with Dr Pinter earlier this year---doctor and staff were so skilled and compassionate. Today, my son was injured at school and Dr Crocket and staff were kind enough to quickly fit him in to examine his condition. She was wonderful and I am thankful for the excellent care provided by ESA! Thanks again---
