World class eye care! I cant explain how grateful i am for DR.Barth and the team there i was born with congenial cataract and at 40 years old needed eye surgery not only did he make me feel comfortable enough to have it done his staff and prep team were A-1! I will never go anywhere else for my eye care to me the 3 hour drive is well worth it!! My vision is amazing after only 2 days of surgery and everything is new to me now i get to re-experiene everything! It's like having a brand new windshield installed after not cleaning it all winter and he did it in literally 10 minutes! thanks again DR Barth and team!!!

This clinic is beautiful and every visit I have had there has been a positive experience. I saw Dr. Aaron Alme who is always professional, informative, caring and friendly! All of the other staff I interacted with was also great! Many people use this clinic and it runs quite smoothly even with the number of patients that come thru the doors. I was there for an exam today and was truly impressed with all the staff I had contact with. I would highly recommend this clinic and am thankful to have them here in the Flathead Valley.

Dr. Alme removed cataracts from both of my eyes and implanted toric lenses to correct my nearsightedness and astigmatism. Everything went beautifully, from the initial visit to the actual procedures to the aftercare. I had no pain and was able to see quite well 2 days after each surgery. Now, two months later, I'm thrilled with my 20/20 vision and vast improvement in night driving. The surgery even seems to have improved my balance! I can't say enough about the team and care at Glacier Eye Clinic.

I'd be blind if it weren't for the doctors at Glacier Eye Clinic. As someone who lives with eye disease and the prospect of blindness, the waiting time to see a doctor is not an inconvenience. These doctors are a specialized group serving a population area of over 100,000 people. The wait times will be long occasionally (seems to be the biggest gripe in reviews). The doctors have responded to my calls at all hours of the day and while on vacation even! The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. There aren't enough stars available to show my appreciation for what the clinic has provided for my quality of life. All of the doctors are knowledgeable and caring. What more can you ask for?

Attempted to reach my doctor and a female phoned me back. She told me she was an "Eye Doctor". She had only given me her first name so I asked for her last name; she stated "I'm not going to tell you". I said "You are an eye doctor there and refuse to give me your last name" to which she replied "I'm the doctor's technician". She went on to lie about something else regarding the doctor. For the 3rd time I told her to have the doctor phone me as she had lied to me. She said "I'll give him the message. BYE!"

Extremely disappointed in Glacier Eye Clinic. I have been a patient there for three years and have been very happy with my eye care. My disappointment is concerning the wait time for an appointment. Last year I arrived at my appointment time, but had to wait 40 minutes because of an emergency situation with a patient. Today my appointment was scheduled at 9AM. I arrived promptly at the scheduled appointment time. While waiting in the lobby two other patients arrived and were called for their appointment. I continued to wait until 9:35, at that time I approached the reception desk to ask how long before I would be seen and stated two other patients who arrived after me had been called in to be seen. The receptionist stated “some patients arrive an hour before their appointment”, not really sure how that applied to my issue and stated again they arrived after I sat down in the reception area. She also stated “ your appointment was for 9:10 AM”, I checked my phone reminder message, the stated time was 9 AM. I now had been waiting 45 minutes and my name still had not been called. I explained to the receptionist I have family visiting and can not wait any longer. She then stated the next available appointment is not until September 9th! This was a very frustrating situation, Glacier Eye Clinic should revise their scheduling to better accommodate their patients. Waiting over 45 minutes for an appointment is inconsiderate and disrespectful to their patients. I will go elsewhere for my eye care.

I called to get contacts with an existing prescription, but both girls I talked to were terribly rude. I hung up and instead called The Vision Clinic on Meridian-- who were not only more than willing to help me, but kind, too. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

A decent location, but a beautiful interior. That's all the good that this eye clinic has. The staffing here is lackluster and rude . if you don't buy any optics from them , they will treat you as a second hand citizen. They say that they have the best prices in the valley, I guess they have never been to Costco. Speaking of buying glasses and contacts elsewhere, they take at least a day to fax over prescriptions to where you need it. Just take them yourself and save the hassle of rude staff interactions.

I was referred to the clinic due to a mass behind my eye discovered in an MRI. I waited anxiously for 3 weeks for this appt. I drove from over an hour for my 7:45AM appt. The MRI had not been looked at and I received about 5 minutes of the doctors time. The staff were cold and and rude and I have no answers as to the issue with my eye. Don't waist your time and money at this place.

Glacier Eye Clinic is exceptional in every way. The employees are kind, professional and highly knowledgeable in what they do. The clinic is organized into departments/sections that allow for an appointment to go smoothly and efficiently. Procedures are explained in detail and pre-surgery paperwork done immediately. I had cataract surgery done by Dr. Mark Remington. The surgery nurses were enjoyable and funny, putting a person at ease. Dr. Remington is a remarkable expert/surgeon in his field. The surgery felt easy and the recovery was fast. All follow-ups went well, and I can see so much better. In my first cataract surgery in another state, I had flashes of light that took awhile to go away. With Dr. Remington, I had none of that. The optician department was most helpful and the selection of frames was large. They allowed me the time to choose and gave suggestions. I have lived in 18 states and Glacier Eye Clinic is the best I have seen.

I have been going to this clinic for several years. On my visit last year I made my follow up appointment for this year, as per usual. In about April I received a letter stating my appointment had been changed due to 'scheduling conflicts'. I can only hazard a guess that they felt someone was more important and needed my appointment more than I did. I accepted the new appointment. I find that if you have an appointment with a professional health provider they will call you in advance of your apt to remind you. I have a cell phone and do not respond to unknown in the number and/or area field. The message left by them had both as unknown as I discovered after. I have never seen a legitimate business designated this way. The bottom line is: I am changing providers and would advise you to look elsewhere if you value customer service.

It is obvious that they have a monopoly. They don't really care about customer service because people in the Flathead Valley have no other place to go for certain conditions. The office lost the letter and backup documentation from my referring doc. Dr. Stein's assistant (don't know her name because she never introduced herself) was a cold little snot. The biggest problem for the consumer is that, once you finally get to see a doctor, they're good. It's getting there that's so painful. I'm facing cataract surgery and will probably take a trip to Missoula instead of going back.

I love this clinic, my wife goes to it. They just discovered I have macular degeneration, they gave me the option to let it go or get the injection to see if we can slow it down or stop it. Dr. Remington, talked to me like a person and right up front and honest, and Cindel, put me at ease right off before I received the injection. The process went very well. My experience with Glacier Eye was awesome. I had cataract surgery and my vision went from 200/20 in my right eye and 50/20 in my left eye to 20/20 in both eyes. Dr. Alme, MD was the surgeon and follow-up was provided by Dr. Olson, OD. The entire staff was professional, competent and a true joy.

Constantly screwed up billing codes to force us to spend countless hours between insurance company and them. We would call them, have them tell us they would fix it, and then get another bill and another bill and another bill from them. Be aware, they are glad to screw you over for money and not tell you if they are a preferred provider or not for your insurance. They don't care. They are glad to force the customer to pay and not warn them that they don't work with your insurance. Hand them you card and they know....but won't tell you. Bad service idea. If they had integrity, they would tell you when you arrive and look at the card...your provider doesn't work with use. At least pharmacies do this...Walmart was nice enough to tell me upfront that a prescription wasn't covered and then call the doctor and had a generic substituted that saved my $130. Why can't this clinic do the same? They get paid either way, I suppose.

I had the pleasure of being under the care of Dr. Robert Olsen. Well on vacation I got some fibreglass stuck in My eye. Being from Canada and knowing I had a few days left I was quite happy to be confident that the doctor would be able to take out all of the debris. He saw me a total of three times and insured that I got everything removed he even sent me send me to a plastic specialist to doublecheck. This level of care is unheard of especially as when I went back to Canada in order to get rechecked it took me four months just to even get an appointment with a specialist. By this time I no longer needed the appointment as I was fully healed thank you staff and team

What an amazingly impossible experience so far! The soonest they can get into see you is six or seven weeks out. Then there is no reminder system whatsoever for your appointments and because we misunderstood 2 O'clock and not 10 o'clock we now have to wait another seven weeks for our little girl to be able to see. The receptionist or answering service or whoever deals with their phones needs to learn how to speak up it was almost impossible to be here and she was very difficult to communicate with. We will be looking for another option in the valley.

Poor customer consideration when they over book appointments. I'm a volunteer driver today for a cataract patient that had a procedure yesterday. The procedure took almost 2 hrs of time when we were told 30 minutes. Mostly waiting. Todays quick follow up is now at hour and half and I'm still waiting. Over half hr wait for him so see nurse for initial check then put back in waiting room because doctor wasn't ready for him. He's finally with doctor. And we have to do this again next month. No excuse for poor scheduling and lack of consideration for other people's time. There's people still sitting in waiting room that were here when we got here. Also at hospital they use drops from sample bottles that they can't use on anyone else and you know patient is charged for but don't give them to patient to use even when told patient forgot their drops and lives over an hour away.
