The sign in the window where you check in that says, "Expect your appointment to take 3 hours or longer", says it all. You will wait an hour in the lobby, another hour after you see the assistant before the doctor sees you, then your exams starts. Four appointments over a 13 month period have all been like this. Nothing wrong with the quality of work, but you can get the same quality eye exam at many other business that doesn't overbook their appointments so they can bring in maximum income at your inconvenience.

Terrible wait times. After you get the first part of your eye exam done, you are sent to a secondary waiting room where you can spend even longer. Did I mention there is nothing for kids to do in that secondary room?

5 STAR AWESOME!!! I made an appointment here for a 2nd opinion and my results came out GREAT! The optometrist, Edgar was fabulous and Dr. Brand was super too! From now on this is my to go place!

I’m very impressed with the quality of service I get with McKnight Eye Center. So much impressed that I drive nearly 500 miles to see wonderful knowledgeable doctors. The rest of the staff is exceptional also. I have never had an experience like this in Texas. The reason I drive here to see the best ophthalmologist. My mother was another reason I would come to the KC area; but she is watching me from above. I will continue to drive as long as I am able.

We never saw the doctor. They consider waiting in the waiting room for hours as past of the appointment. I don’t have 3 hours to sit and wait.

I had a wonderful experience throughout cataract surgery and recovery. There was virtually no wait time. Staff hustled to get me through the various tests after surgery, but always took time to answer my questions. Compared to other medical encounters this was enjoyable.

Staff is helpful, but only come here if you can afford to sit around for 2-3 hours. Also the walls are paper thin and it’s hard not to hear the person in the room next to you’s personal info and whatnot.

I've changed my eye specialist/Dr, & am I ever glad I did!! It has been my experience w McKnights that they overbook their patients, I've spent anywhere from 2-4 hours there for an exam, it was so frustrating!! I really feel sorry for the elders who go there, I've sat next to them in the lobby, as well as the other "holding area" & listened to their complaints...they are diabetic & in need of lunch, or incontinent, or just plain tired and want to go home for a nap. I've heard them complain to staff, but obviously falls on deaf ears, as McKnights still overbooks their patients. I'm glad I have a new eye Dr., my appt last week took approx 1 hour, start to finish...very professional staff & the Dr takes the time to explain things & answer any questions.

Highly recommend! Very impressed with the friendly experience that began with the receptionists and continued throughout my appointment. The support staff and my doctor took the time to answer all of my questions in a way that I could understand. Also, the surgery staff was very efficient and caring! Truly a family-type atmosphere.

I recently had an eye exam at McKnight Eye Centers. I usually dread going to the doctor of any kind but this visit was Great. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable making the visit that much better. I would definitely recommend McKnight Eye Centers to anyone.

This place is the worst I ever seen, the wait times are unreasonably long. Its obvious they care more about the quantity of patients rather than quality. When an eye exam take 5 hours to complete then you have to book another appointment just to schedule the proceedure instead of being able to schedule it during the same visit thats rediculous. Ive never had to take another day off work just to schedule a proceedure in my life ans Ive had 6 major back surguries, numerous priceedures and doctors visits. So whats the equivalent to a puppy mill? Oh yeah McKnight eye center
