Horrible. The wait times are long, they don't seem to care about the patient, the office staff are a nightmare, and it's expensive. I will never go back...

I had an appointment with Dr. Liu. He was patient, caring, and thorough. He listened attentively and did not make me feel rushed. Dr. Liu explained his opinions on what needed to be done with my shrunken folded eye and told me my options. I was impressed with him and his staff. I will be going back to him for surgery in September.

In the past 50 years, I have had many, many eye exams, but never one as thorough as the one I had from Mason. The people at the clinic are all very nice and helpful. The doctors and staff are all very caring people who obviously enjoy what they are doing. This will be my choice eye clinic going forward.

Dr. Rodier & the outpatient staff were wonderful! I am 65; had a cataract removed with no anesthesia other than numbing eyedrops!

This is a great place to go if you need eye care. I recommend them as high as high goes. They are smart. Very caring . You won't be disappointed. I promise.

I've had failing vision within the past 2 years. I've been to two differnt local eye doctor's, where I was told I have early onset cataracts being so young at just 50 yrs. Even with my glasses they prescribed, my vision has dramatically decreased in 6 months. I asked each doctor if I could get lasik surgery and they both told me I needed to be almost completely blind to be considered. I didn't like what they told me, I was angry. I could barely read with my glasses or see to drive, and I would get terrible headaches, run into walls and fall down sometimes from my diminished vision. So a friend told me to go to Mason Eye, so last week while driving at night in the rain I made a wide turn and was almost hit by another car, so I decided I need to get my appointment right away. I was able to get in the same week I called on. I loved my doctor and the tecs everyone is so friendly, there was a lot of people all ready waiting so I thought it would take a long time waiting and was surprised that within 5 minutes I was called back, to start my exam, all in all I was extremely thrilled that Doc said next week they would call me to set up the cataract surgery at Women and children's Hospital and the procedure would take 15 minutes total. They'll remove my lenses and replace with the new ones. Then the following week will be the other eye. I will be awake during the surgery and have an IV, and heart monitors on. I'm very excited to be able to see clearly again!!!! Thank you all

I wish I had experienced the same compassionate care described here by other reviewers. I was assigned to a doctor that made sexist jokes and used his thumb to “reshape” my eye so he could get a better look at my retina. If you have an appointment with Dr. Hainsworth, cancel and ask for someone else.

Expect to do A LOT of waiting. Not sure why they make appointment times because they never see you in a prompt manor. It always takes hours.

At Mason, my dear friend was diagnosed with a condition which required a corneal transplant which IEC TOTALLY missed. IEC only ordered her glasses for which they refused to refund the cost even though they were not necessary or appropriate with the true treatment. Thank you Mason for saving her sight.

Physicians saw me as a walkin on a Friday night. They were with me within 5 minutes of my arrival. They were professional, courteous and very caring. When the medication for my eye was not available at the pharmacy, they made it at the hospital. I walked in to find both doctors waiting for me at the front door with eye drops in hand. I have plenty of negative things to say about the healthcare system in the US but these two doctors were truly exceptional. I walked out feeling as though they love what they do and truly care about their patients.

How can this be taking so long? Seriously. It's been hours. This has been just as unpleasant as going to the hospital clinic.
