I moved too far way to keep going to this office so asked to have my files sent to my new Ophthalmologist. They charged me $25 admin fee and $.57 per page. I have over 30 years of files with this group of doctors and feel this is BS, they've received 10s of thousands of dollars from me and my insurance over the years. Those office workers have plenty of time on their hands to make a few copies without having to be reimbursed. They get paid sitting on their rears whether their copying or not so they the cost is fixed, it's a cost of doing business, plane and simple. Those on my files and I already paid to have the reports written, shouldn't have to pay again to get them!

I had a very rare condition and after countless tests with many Dr's (over a 2 year period) I came in for a routine eye exam and Dr. Schell was the ONLY DOCTOR IN ST. LOUIS that was able to correctly diagnose and understand my condition (Idiopathic Intracranial Hytertension- a/k/a Pseudotumor Cerebri). Prior to Dr. Schell I had seen neurologists & neuro-ophthalmologists (who should have been able to diagnose me). I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Schell's thorough examination and intuition. After my diagnosis I was then able to seek out neurologists at the UCSF medical center, underwent stent surgery, and was cured!
