Went today for my first eye exam in a very long time, and was impressed to say the least. Everyone I talked to was nice and friendly; the lady at the front desk even walked me to my car with an umbrella because it was raining out. I saw Dr. Erin Niehoff and felt very comfortable with her and will most definitely trust her with my eye care every year for my exam. I loved how thorough and informative she was today. A big thank you to all the staff here!

I was very pleased with how helpful and patient the front desk was when I called for the first time. I had a lot of questions and was on the phone with them explaining my situation for quite some time and they listened, answered my questions and got back with me right away when I needed a question answered that needed further review. I had an appointment the very next day. The pre-exam was quite thorough and Dr. Niehoff was very detailed in her exam and explanation of what I was dealing with. I was quite worried about payment as I am uninsured, but quite surprised at how reasonable the cost was for the treatment I received. I left very pleased with the visit. Highly recommend.

I agree completely with this previous review. ----- Finklang Eye Care is by far the best optical center I've ever gone to. The staff is friendly and explains what they are doing. Dr. Finklang performs a very thorough eye exam finds and explains any problems he sees. He is knowledgeable and up to date on new procedures so I know I am getting the best in eye care. I often tell people that I really like the services there and wouldn't want to go to a different eye doctor. ----- I have severe astigmatism and my prescription is complicated. I even got a blood sugar test to double check that there were no other issues affecting my vision. Since moving, I still drive 2-1/2 hours to Dr. Finklang's office.

Hated this eye care place the Dr was nice an friendly said my daughter needed glasses we have primary an secondary insurance they wanted to charge me for her glasses an the glasses they only allowed us to look at was approved by Medicaid I'm sorry but if I'm paying out of my pocket since they do not want to do their job correctly an bill our secondary insurance then I should be able to purchase whatever glasses I want since I have a co pay with our primary insurance but no they only had us look at Medicaid cheap glasses no thank you I will go elsewhere. Then they want to call me an tell me I'm wrong hmm nope not wrong my son's was approved last year with a different eye exam place.

When I picked my glasses up after bye the way no one called me to tell me they were ready I received an email! They handed me my glasses after spending hundreds of dollars for new lenses with no case no glass cleaner or sitting down with me to see if they fit properly They just handed them to me over the counter , theses were Calvin Klein very expensive glasses and lenses. I asked them for a case and it was like I asked them for something out of the ordinary. I will never do business with them again .

doctors and front desk are nice and professional. That all ends once you try to work with optical. More specifically the elderly lady that is the main optical worker. She has an incredibly abrasive personality. Seems like she hates the fact that shes not retired yet and she channels that at her customers. every time I go in there she acts like your a burden to make her do her job. I've put up with it for the last three glasses I've gotten from them but the last experience was especially distasteful. I wished to utilize a warranty on a pair of glasses that split apart after a month and had extremely poor grade lenses. at first over the phone in a unprovoked argumentative tone told me i had no warranty (within second of me telling my problem and her not even knowing my name so obviously didn't even look up my file). I knew her to be lieing so I came in anyway. I managed to get her to agree to replace the lenses after pulling teeth through a unnecessarily confrontational exchange. But she seemingly provided me with inadequate service out of spite. The other lady behind the counter started to say that she needed to do a form of re-examination to get the correct lenses for me (as if that was what they normally do) but the women in question interrupted her and shook her head saying no not for him.. so when they get back I have a feeling ill be dealing with lenses that are not even correct... refused to utilize the frame warranty... even just to replace the inexpensive ear pieces that split after a month with the manufacturer piece. She went on to be more disrespectful than I think I've ever witnessed from a customer service rep refused to forward me to her manager claiming she was the manager. when i explained that i knew she was not the owner and that there was people over her and i wish to speak to them she just sat there and ignored me like a child. If you don't think your not doing anything wrong you shouldn't have a problem forwarding someone to your manager. I've been in customer service and I did it multiple times because i knew i was being courteous and doing things by the book (she was not). I planed to go back here for years to come but at this point the thought of dealing with this retched woman is turning me elsewhere. I see the only bad reviews on here are obviously about her, how this woman still has a job i do not know. It seems like some form of charity on behalf of the owner. me and my family will never come back to this place over one single unavoidable employee. at least until she is fired or expires.

Very patient and kind and I would recommend her to anyone. The office staff is also one of the nicest and most pleasant group of people, always ready to help with whatever concerns you. Doctor and assistant were great. Office staff are friendly and helpful. Lady who helps with glasses (not sure of her name) usually doesn't help unless you have a question. When she does she only picks the most expensive frames, and then her attitude changes when you tell her they cost too much. This year was the 1st time in 3 years she even offered help. Have considered charging doctors because of this but everyone else is so great I've stayed. Shes the reading for 4 stars.

I recently had a situation with my left eye that scared me! I called Finklang Eye Health Associates. I was able to see a doctor the very next day. Dr. Finklang and his staff were very thorough with the tests and explanation of my problem. Dr. Finklang made every attempt to set me at ease! My experience was very positive!

Doctors and assistants were friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Niehoff does great with my kids too! Only problem is I can’t seem to get in and out of this place quickly. Minimum of an hour and a half each appointment. Two kids appointments were back to back and we were there for 2 hours and 55 minutes. It shouldn’t take almost three hours for two appointments. Also, the next day they called and told me my insurance denied my claim. After speaking with insurance it was determined that the employees at Finklang had made an error. Instead of checking their own work, they chose to call me and then I wasted a half hour of my time contacting insurance to correct their mistake. Thankfully my insurance company called them and walked them through how to properly submit the claim. I absolutely LOVE Dr. Niehoff, but I don’t think it’s worth the time and hassle I have had to go through just to get my children glasses.
