I went to Brinton after researching best options in St Louis for vision correction, hoping for a lasik procedure. Turns out I wasn't eligible for lasik, however Dr. Brinton suggested ICL. Initially I was very hesitant since it was adding hardware into my eye instead of just “being” my eye with lasik. However, I was determined to correct my vision permanently and ICL was a well practiced solution, despite my freshly acquired knowledge of it. So I placed my faith in the Doctors, the staff, and their recommendation. The results are outstanding! I have zero regrets and my vision is better than ever! I no longer need to reach for glasses or bother with contact issues throughout the day. Everyone at Brinton is kind, friendly, cheerful, and comforting every step of the way. Absolutely the best part was the staff— they personally learned and worked with my crazy schedule to find exactly what would work for me. They made a point to ensure I understood all options available, discussed the pros and cons of each, followed up with all of my concerns, and worked with every little preference I had about my eyes. I am 100% satisfied with my decision to get eye surgery at Brinton Vision. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, the staff is friendly and approachable, and the entire process went exactly as I had hoped. Before surgery, I went for a consultation; Dr. Poore and Dr Chestnut helped determine that ASA would be the safest procedure for my eyes. I had heard that ASA is one of the more painful procedures, but decided to proceed forward (I had been annoyed by my glasses and contacts for over two decades). The staff gave me thorough information on the surgery and recovery process. The staff used every means of equipment possible to ensure that my eyes would be corrected as perfectly as possible. The procedure itself only lasted a few minutes and was painless. Dr. Tersigni performed the surgery and helped me feel at ease before the procedure, providing a detailed overview of what to expect. There were a few days of moderate pain, which was to be expected, but it was more than worth it; I'm one month out of surgery and seeing at 20/12.5 vision in both eyes (even better than I did with my glasses). And it's entirely possible that my vision will continue to sharpen. I couldn't thank the doctors at Brinton Vision enough; seeing the sun rise without glasses each morning is an incredible feeling. If you are curious about corrective eye surgery, I can't imagine a better place to go than Brinton Vision. I give them the highest recommendation and am looking forward to my 3 month follow-up!

I recently had SBK surgery with Dr. Tersigni and I couldn't be happier with the results. For the first time in my life, I have crystal clear vision without contacts or glasses. Very impressed with Brinton Vision, staff and Doctors are very friendly, and professional. Due to a thin cornea I had to have the ASA Lasik performed which involves pain and a longer recovery. The procedure itself took about 15 minutes for both eyes and was painless. The first week was the worst, but since I am an impatient person the 5 weeks it took for my vision to stabilize seemed like forever since I could not see very well and I am self employed. Paperwork was rather difficult. Also, I was under the impression it would be around 2 weeks before I would begin to see better (I guess everyone heals differently) so that was frustrating. But, through all my phone calls they they were always pleasant and helpful and even had me come in to check everything out to make sure all was good and to ease my mind. I am at 3 1/2 months now and I am seeing better than ever! I would definitely recommend Brinton Vision they are first class all the way.

Went here to see if I was a candidate for lasik. They were very friendly and professional. They had me do several tests with a bunch of different machines. I guess my eyes aren’t as bad as I thought, they told me that in a few years I would be an excellent candidate. I was surprised because most companies would just want my money, thank God there are companies that still have the customers best interest at heart.

Brinton vision had many positive reviews and I decided to go for a consultation. From the minute I entered the facility all I had was positive vibes. All the front desk staff and technicians are very welcoming and take good care of you. They explain every detail and every scan to you and suggest best possible option and also give you reason for that. Dr. Poore is very patient in listening to all my concerns and answered every question with much detail. I immediately decided to go for the procedure and did the scheduling within 3 days. Dr. Brinton makes sure you have all the questions answered and all the expectations set correctly before you go into the surgery room. My experience after ASA procedure was exactly as he described. Amazing thing is he calls you personally the night of the procedure to make sure you are doing alright. I had my 3 month visit today with Dr. Chestnut and she also explained me in detail what my next steps are. Finally, I got rid of glasses after 13 years and my vision is much better than I expected. I have worn glasses or contacts for well over 30 years. I finally decided that the time was right to look into getting my vision corrected. However, I found that with my high prescription, I would not be a good candidate for the most common Lasik procedures done in St. Louis - especially if I wanted what was best for the long-term health of my eyes. I continued my research and found Brinton Vision. After reading many reviews, I made an appointment to find out more. The office is clean, well organized, and comfortable! Following a very thorough examination of my eyes and discussing extensively with Dr. Brinton and his staff the goals for my vision - I was informed that ICL would be the best fit for me. I was excited to have an option, but also very anxious about the procedure and what to expect. Everyone that was part of my care - before, during, and after - made sure any question or concern I had was addressed. The entire staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They took every measure to ease my anxiety! They played my favorite music and even adapted how they may have preferred to do things to make sure that I was not claustrophobic. The personalized care continued well after my procedure to ensure that I was completely happy with my final outcome. It has been over a year since my procedure. My vision is crystal clear! I am enjoying not having to reach for my glasses when I wake up! I love that I don't have to worry about my eyes getting tired and dry after a long day in contacts! I don't have to think about my contacts or glasses during water activities, like swimming and boating. And no more packing glasses, extra contacts, and contact solution when we travel!

I was pretty nervous starting out but everyone at Brinton Vision made me feel extremely comfortable. From the doctors to staff everyone was amazing. I started out seeing 20/500 and now see 20/16. I chose the ICL treatment which is basically a surgically inserted implantable contact. Brinton is a very rude doctor. No respect for your time. Started surgery late, and then saw him walking past the front door outside the office before my friends surgery was even done. 30 minutes later he walked back and the surgery was done like 5 minutes later but the surgery ended late too. You can tell the staff were waiting around on him just standing around. My friend said they had to wait a long time to see Brinton in the first consultation too. IF you decide to go here, plan on having to cancel your plans for the day.

This place feels more like a luxury spa than a medical practice. It's really nice and the doctors are very attentive and obviously very good at their jobs. I was able to text them to ask any questions the days following my surgery and they responded within minutes. The eye exam they give you during your consultation is almost worth the payment alone. Overall, the whole process felt very organized and most importantly, safe. They even do your surgery in a clean room. On January 12, 2019 I underwent a procedure known as Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) on my left eye. The surgery was repeated on the contralateral eye on January 25, 2019. RLE is a procedure in which the natural lens of the eye is removed and replaced with an artificial intraocular lens to correct vision loss due to presbyopia. My vision has continued to improve since my surgery. However, I experienced some side effects that have reduced overtime such as: blurry vision, night glare and halos, as well as a foreign body sensation. Each post-operative appointment/ follow up I had with Dr. Poore (AMAZING!!) the above issues were reviewed in detail, as well as strategies going forward to potentially alleviate my bothersome symptoms. She is very calming and reassuring. My vision has improved (almost immediately after the surgery). My vision is BETTER than 20/20!! I don’t use glasses any more. Most of the time my vision is crisp and sharp, I can say overall that Dr. Brinton is the BEST refractive surgeon in the world. My friend is a surgeon herself, and researched and found him for me. For that, I will be grateful forever. My life has completely changed. Until my 40s I had no need for visual aid, and then it progressively got to the point where it was really bad, I could not see near or far. It happened dramatically, within 3-5 years. I was absolutely dependent on glasses which was very frustrating as before my 40s I didn’t need anything. I highly and whole heartedly recommend this facility, don’t look for other places. This is the place to go. All of his medical and surgical staff were so welcoming, professional, comforting, informative and knowledgeable. I’m a 73 year old active grandmother, gardener and golfer who has worn contacts and glasses for distance for the past 50 years and reader cheaters for the past 25 years. My eyes were not improving on their own and both areas were getting worse. I was nervous, but when my grand dog broke my driving glasses and I had reading glasses in every room, I knew I was time to try something else. I heard advertising about the different options at Brinton Vision on the radio but actually had a friend who had procedures done by them that not only fixed both problems simultaneously but offered the prevention of cataracts in the future. The courteous, professional staff at Brinton made me feel so comfortable and confident. They checked and double checked every step of the way. We did one eye at a time, and Dr. Tersigni actually saw me not only the day of surgery, the day after, but on day 3 which was a Sunday just to make sure everything was going according to plan. I was astounded at how clear and colorful my world became after one week after the first surgery. I just had the second eye done. I can read at a distance and on my computer or in books even after a couple of days without any glasses for near or far! The procedures, the pre-op care of all the young people doing their jobs taking measurements and pictures, the actual operations where Dr. Tersigni gently spoke throughout the operational procedure telling me what he was doing and what was happening all extremely added to my comfort level of what was going on. I have had both of my eyes corrected with ICL surgery. The end result is exactly what I was hoping for, and the doctors and staff were nothing but courteous and knowledgable throughout the entire experience. The surgeries themselves were quick, and while they were at times a bit uncomfortable, they are painless, too. They also help you plan out all of your pre-op and post-op check-ups well ahead of time to make sure you can work it into your schedule without any difficulty: I learned about Brinton, had a consultation, and had my surgeries done all within a month.

I was very nervous to have the SBK procedure done, but I figured that if i was going to do it I should get it done by one of the best in the world. The procedure was very strange and a bit cringy, but I wouldn't have been more comfortable anywhere other than Brinton vision. They have 5 star staff and facilities to be sure. Dr. Brinton even called me HIMSELF the night of the procedure to see how everything was going. (that honestly kind of blew me away). After it all I'm here for my 1 day post-op and they have me seeing 20/10 in less than 12 hours! Amazing.

Had a great experience here! The staff is super friendly and amazing! They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. It’s a great environment to be in. When you set up your first consultation and go through the testing, they explain everything and make sure your comfortable before they do each test. They go over each option and show you which one would be best for your vision. If you decide to go through them, they will go over payment options with you, help you set up appointments that work best with your schedule. They make sure to answer any and everyone question you have. I had ICL and I’ve never had better vision. I have 20/20 vision now and I don’t need glasses to see anymore. WOW, what an amazing transformation. I went from barely able to read the top letter of the vision test to two lines below 20/20. On my first procedure my left eye did have a pressure issue to where Dr. Tersigni insisted that I come back Sunday morning to check my pressure again. I had my LASIK performed a year ago in July of 2018 and I have had such a great experience with my vision since! There was so much that my contacts and glasses were limiting me from that I am now able to experience with ease. The office is very clean and is still very courteous as I just went in for my year follow-up. The staff has always been super kind and helpful! Although it’s a little higher priced than some surrounding, the comfort in knowing that the person in front of you knows what they’re doing with something as precious as your eyes, is completely worth it! 10/10 recommend!

I had been wearing reading glasses for at least 15 years. I had glasses everywhere imaginable. A few in my car, several placed around my house, and a couple in my purse. I kept the extras on my lampshade next to my bed. I never knew when I might need to read something I couldn't see. About a year ago I decided to look into having Lasik surgery, as this was something on "My Bucket List." Living in St. Louis, there are many options available. I am one who researches and reads every review possible. Brinton Vision won me over by the number of positive reviews and recommendations by others who had an awesome experience at Brinton Vision. I made an appointment and went for a consultation. The front desk staff greeted me warmly and the technician who did my exam was thorough and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. Dr. Poore said I was a candidate for Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE). I was thrilled that I only needed to have this done in one eye. I scheduled my appointment with Dr. Brinton for the following Tuesday. On the day of my surgery, I was a little nervous but was calmed by the caring technicians and Dr. Brinton's explanation of the surgery. The actual procedure only took about 15 minutes and was completely painless. My husband even took me out for breakfast afterwards. I rested at home that afternoon and by the next day I was reading things I never could have without my readers. Dr. Brinton said to avoid wearing readers to allow my brain to adjust to my new lens. It's been almost 3 weeks since surgery and I have not had to use my readers once. I recently went on a trip and was able to read a magazine on the plane, check email on my phone, look at menus and read a book by the pool all without readers! I am amazed and so grateful to Dr. Brinton and the Brinton Vision staff for helping me to see clearly again.

I had the RLE procedure done in May this year (2019). Lemme tell you guys, this place is a “well oiled MACHINE” with state of the art technology I didn’t even know existed AND the customer service is impeccable. I couldn’t be more pleased with my experiences at Brinton Vision. My own personal recovery was a bit tricky at first but the staff and doctors helped me overcome my anxieties and assured me I could call or come in anytime-outside of my appointment time. Since my surgery, I’ve only needed my “cheaters” a small handful of times which is usually if I’m in a really dim lit room at night. If you’re considering this surgery because you want to free yourself of the hassle of always having to reach for your readers, this is the way to go. The procedure itself is FAST and if yo have anxiety, they can give you a medicine to help you with your nerves. Seriously, I was in and out and there was absolutely NO pain. Before the procedure, they even asked me what my favorite music was do they could turn on that genre for my enjoyment. I’m a former business owner and have to say customer service-anywhere I go-is key for me and this place could definitely teach other businesses a thing or two about how to run a business. And one more thing! If you can’t afford the procedure right out of pocket-they offer a super easy and affordable financing plan! So happy I followed my gut and had this surgery.

I have been in contacts/glasses for as long as I can remember and developed a terrible habit of sleeping in them for sometimes months at a time. The experience here at Brinton Vision begins when you walk into the front door. You are greeted by a beautiful office with couches and arm chairs with the back drop of a waterfall behind the receptionist. Each room is beautiful and well maintained. The bathroom doesn’t even have paper towels! Each person uses a new washcloth to dry their hands! Each and every staff member was well trained and extremely polite constantly asking if I needed anything to eat or drink. At first I was nervous about the procedure and apprehensive about the price. They were a little higher than others in town but now I know why. My procedure lasted only minutes and I could see shockingly well in the parking lot on the way out. Each hour I could tell my vision was getting better and more clear. Within hours I could read the stove clock from 20 feet away which I would have had to be inches away a mere 6 hours earlier to see unassisted without glasses. This morning I had my follow up only 17 hours after my surgery and my vision is 20/12.5 which is two lines better than perfect vision. I have no pain and am only taking drops to medicate and lubricate my eyes. My life is normal only 17 hours later. Absolutely unreal! This place is the real deal!

This was my experience with Brinton Vision. I took the online self-test after hearing about them from a family member. Withing a minute I received a call from a very nice young man that explained I needed to get an Ocular Analysis to confirm whether I was a candidate and I made an appointment right away. The minute you walk through the door you will realize that this is not an ordinary doctor's office! I was greeted by two wonderful ladies that made me feel like I was the only patient on the schedule that day. My appointment was for 3:15 PM and Gracie (my technician) came and got me at 3:12 PM. I have never been to an appointment with a doctor that didn't make me wait at least 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment, so this was mind boggling. My last eye exam was 2 years prior and they did two tests, this time I think they did seven or eight on my eyes. Gracie was very sweet and made me feel so comfortable like an old friend would. Next came Dr. Chesnut and she was just as wonderful, she showed me several things about my eyes that I never even knew. Dr. Tersigni came in next and he was so nice and calming that I thought he could be an instructor at a meditation retreat. Then came Dr. Brinton, also very nice and personable, he said that he could do LASIK on my eyes, but it wasn't a question of whether he could, it was more a question of whether he should. I'm 49 years old and LASIK could help me see better for a few years, but something called RLE would be a better option in a few years. Although I was disappointed that I was not a candidate yet, I was more impressed that they didn't just take my money and do a surgery that wouldn't make me completely happy. It's hard to find a company that isn't just in it for the money, they really care about your eyes at Brinton Vision and I will be back in a few years when my eyes are ready.

My eyesight was quite bad (I wasn’t able to recognize specific people if they were standing farther than 15 feet from me). I spent several years considering whether I should get LASIK. On the one hand, I was used to contacts. I had worn them for several decades and was used to putting them in and taking them out each morning and night. On the other hand, I heard from family and friends who had chosen LASIK how that decision had a positive impact on their lives, and i was learning of the possible health risks of wearing contacts. Once I decided to get LASIK, it was obvious to me that Brinton Vision in St. Louis was the perfect place to have the procedure. Dr. Brinton’s overwhelmingly positive reviews, his impressive training, and the reasonable cost for his procedures were all strong factors in me choosing to go to Brinton Vision. When I arrived at Brinton Vision, I was immediately impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of Dr. Brinton’s staff. From the moment I stepped in the front door, I was treated with kindness and care. Seth greeted me with a smile and made me feel at home. I was struck by the attention to detail and care that had been taken to make sure that Brinton Vision’s office felt warm and welcoming and didn’t have the slightly intimidating feeling that often come from visiting a doctor’s office or a hospital. My vision was checked by several optometrists to ensure that my eyes received the best possible treatment. I was also given multiple other tests on various machines to examine my eyes. After this, Dr. Brinton spent almost 45 minutes discussing my situation and the pros and cons of receiving different procedures. I appreciated his thorough review, professional manner, and candid advice. Throughout our discussion I had the strong feeling that Dr. Brinton had my best interests in mind and that he was treating me as an individual with specific needs, rather than simply a number. During the surgery, I was put at ease by Dr. Brinton’s calm explanations of the procedure and his descriptions of each machine. He explained everything clearly to me so that I knew exactly what was happening and what would happen next. His supporting staff was friendly and very well trained. My procedure was painless and almost relaxing. It was clear to me that I was in safe and experienced hands during the entire procedure. I am more than pleased with the results. Several times when I have woken up in the morning my hand has reached reflexively for my glasses - and then I happily remember that I no longer need to worry about them or my contacts! I am a long-distance mountain runner and it is liberating to run my trails without needing to worry about possible irritation from my contacts. It is reassuring to know that I can avoid the negative side effects that can come from wearing contacts, and that I can see the world directly with my own eyes and not through a lens. A few nights ago I went "backyard camping" with my girls and it was a relief to wake up in the morning with perfect vision instead of fumbling around for my glasses.

I recently completed ICL surgery at Brinton Vision in St. Louis since I was too nearsighted for LASIK to be a good option. Prior to my surgery, I was a long-time contact wearer, and though I had few issues with my contacts, I didn't like that I was dependant on them. After researching ophthalmologic surgeons in the area, I found that Brinton offered the most complete suite of options, and that he was the most experienced ICL surgeon in the area. I'm still in the healing process, but so far my results have been great--I'm seeing 20/12.5! The staff and doctors have been very friendly and answered all of the questions I've had. I would definitely recommend Brinton if you have poor vision and are looking at corrective options. As a sidenote, I'll try to remember to update this in a few months with my long term thoughts.

I have never written a review for anyone or anything my entire life. Dr. Brinton and his staff are the first exception because I was so impressed. I came in with bad astigmatism and nearsightedness (something like almost -5.0 in both eyes). I hadn't been able to see without glasses or contacts since the second grade. I am now 23 years old and am currently 24 hours post opt on my first eye. That eye can already see better 20/20 and I can hardly wait to have the other eye done! I will say I was a little apprehensive when I first called to set up a consultation since they asked for $180 over the phone to make the appointment. I think another reviewer said something about this. To that I say, best $180 I have ever spent in my life! If you're worried about that, don't. It's well worth it. As soon as you walk in, you know you're in professional and caring hands. What drew me most strongly was Dr. Brinton's having done the first Toric ICL in the US which I knew from previous visits to other doctors was pretty much the only thing that could safely correct my vision. The procedure was expensive, but your truly get what you pay for and when it comes to your vision, its not a time to penny pinch. A big thank you to everyone at Brinton Vision for changing my life and that of so many others!

The whole experience was amazing. These are the best doctors you could ask to restore your eyesight. The procedure was easy and painless. One of the great things about Dr. Brinton is that he's able to explain everything very clearly and easily understandable, so that you know what will happen and what to expect. Wow!!! I'm actually typing this review with no glasses! It is something I have never been able to do before my procedure at Brinton Vision Lasik St. Louis. I had extremely severe astigmatism and had been turned down for Lasik surgery at two other vision correction centers with no other options offered. I had given up hope for a life free of 24/7 glasses wearing since I was unable to wear contacts. My husband read an article about RLE and I decided to make an appointment. All the staff were extremely professional and their total focus was to ensure I obtained the best outcome possible. They not only explained the procedure but all the details of what to expect during and after the procedure. It has now been about 5 months since the RLE surgery and my vision is greater than 20/20. No more glasses to read my music on the IPAD! I would definitely recommend Brinton Vision for any vision correction but especially for others like myself that felt doomed to be dependent on glasses forever. My experience at Brinton Vision was beyond top notch. They have an awesome staff that seems to really care and are very well organized and try to keep you on schedule and get you in and out without delay. With that said, every time I went in I was checked by at least 2 people including a doctor and they compared notes. I had a small issue the week after my surgery because I got a scratch on my eye, they got me in immediately on a busy day, treated me, saw me multiple times over a 10 day period until things healed up. After dealing with Myopia (near sighted -7.5) for a majority of my life and now the requirement of wearing cheaters to perform daily engineering tasks and struggling with contacts for clear distant vision. Brinton Vision (Dr Brinton regarded as one of the top young doctors in the US and Dr Tersigni) has completed one phase of my correction by adding an ICL lense in my left eye to correct for Presbyopia ( over 40 condition to correct close vision). Absolutely amazing, I can see 20/20 for all things close, with absolutely no halos or issues at night, no dryness, no irritation. I can see a tremendous difference vs contacts as my vision would vary throughout the day. I am excited to do the second eye which will correct for nearsightedness and be the final step for mono vision. I feel so blessed to have my family support me and the doctors (Dr Tersigni) to make this life changing procedure possible. For those that have migranes that are vision induced or have a correction of 7.0 or better can definitely understand. Anyone looking into having vision correction I am here to tell you that Brinton vision is absolutely amazing and thorough, I have done a lot of research and would not trust my eyes to anyone else. It will be amazing to wake up in the morning and see my beautiful wife without having to reach for glasses or having glazed over dry eyes due to contacts. On to round two...I just completed phase 2 with Dr Tersigni, two weeks after the first correction. The procedure went exactly the same as the first, as by the next morning my vision was absolutely perfect. In fact upon my vision test I was able to see 20-16. I have never in my life had the vision that I have today, the first day after my final mono vision surgery. I was very reluctant to go to the monovision with the migranes I have, but Dr Tersigni convinced me that this would be one of the best decisions I have ever made, he was absolutely 100% correct. I can read engineering prints and contracts with fine print with ease without any glasses whatsoever. I have no night affects at all, no halos, no glares. As my 20-16 vision dictates, I can see amazingly clear at long distances as well with no effort at all. I cant Express how wonderful my experience was with all the doctors and support staff at Brinton Vision, they are absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for the gift of sight.

Today is my one month treatment follow-up and my both eyes healed perfectly. My prescriptions were +4.5 & +4.5 and now they are 0.03 & 0.1. I can almost see the very bottom line , which is amazing. Brinton vision has perfect office, staffs, equipments and Doctors. Price maybe a little higher than other places but it definitely worth. Financial program is helpful and I highly recommended. My wife is going to start her treatment tomorrow and she’s very exciting.
