I have never in all of my 44 years been treated with such professionalism as I did when I first walked through the door at Advanced Family Eye Care. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. As I waited maybe 5 minutes I noticed the lady that was helping a gentlement pick out his eyewear was very very professional and very knowledgeable with the different name brands of glasses but the main thing that impressed me was how she was not trying to get the gentlemen to buy the most expensive pair, she was focused on his comfort and how he liked the glasses. I have to mention that I am a super big baby when it comes to any kind of medical exam so I was very nervous but the assistant was very patient and let me relax a little after each test. When I got to Dr. Cook I was surprised how kind and layed back he was (I am use to doctors/dentists that are in a huge hurry and don't have time to make sure you are ok and comfortable). He was very thorough with my exam when my prescription came in (exactly one week) I was amazed how great I could see. I want to tell everyone if you are tired of all of the other Offices treating you like a number, go see Dr Cook you will be very pleased. My Best Friend and her family will be visiting him very soon. I visited Advanced Family Eye Care a year ago because my eye had an encounter with a three-year-old's fingernail. My right eye had part of its outer layer scraped off and it was hanging like a flap, causing serious irritation when I blinked. Dr Cook was able to get me in right away and skillfully removed the hanging flap. He provided me with the necessary eye patch and eye drops to assist in my recovery. While I don't have any need for glasses/contact lenses, I have a number of friends who use Advanced Family Eye Care and are happy with the service they receive there.

All of the staff members were friendly and quick. The eye exam was very comprehensive but I appreciated that because it seems like most doctors do very basic exams. They take insurance and have discounts for those who choose to self-pay. They also had a nice variety of frames to choose from and the optician, Faith, did a great job helping me find ones that I would like and feel confident in. I would highly recommend!
