Having moved here from out of state an eye specialist recommended Dr. Fuller at this location. He was outstanding and soft spoken. He spent time to explain and answer all questions that I had. This was very helpful to myself and husband who had a stroke a few years before that effected his eyesight. Thereafter I took our two grandaughters also. Great doctor as well as the staff there. It's quite rare to have good customer service representatives anywhere nowadays. But Tri-County Eye Clinic has a jewel in Allyssa Cook! She is personable, patient, gentle, and truly cares about the people and the product that they purchase. My two teenage daughters and I went to find some frames. My teenagers felt at ease explaining what they wanted and Allyssa helped them find not only what looked good on them but what also fit well in our budget. I was interested in a particular style of frames. Allyssa took her time and helped me go through several pairs. We didn't find a pair for me that day but when I returned, Allyssa already pulled several of the styles and had them waiting for me. Allyssa Cook is such an asset. People come for the product but stay because of customer service and Allyssa has a way with people!

We have been patients at the Deaux Road location since 2015. I decided to take my son to the Popps Ferry location today because I’m off on Fridays and his doctor only sees patients at the Popps Ferry location on Friday. The eye exam went perfect as usual, but things went South when we were taken to the eye glass clinic to purchase glasses. We walked in the clinic and there were two people already being serviced at two of the tables. Our chart was placed in the holder on the wall(the only chart that was in the holder at the time) and the Dr’s assistant told us to start looking for glasses and that someone would be with us shortly. No one else was waiting to be seen. My son found a pair he liked and in the mean time people kept walking in. When one of the ladies patients was done picking out her glasses, she walked up to a guy that came in after us and whose chart was behind ours and told him to have a seat he was next because he had been there. My son said no we were here first, but she acted as if she didn’t hear him. Then she grabbed another lady and started helping her. By this time I decided that I would just pick up my daughters glasses that had been ordered already and I would just take my sons prescription elsewhere. I told the lady I just wanted to pick up, and her response was I know but you got all of these other people in here that were here before you. I said no we were here before all of these people. She said no and walked in the back. I grabbed my sons chart which was at the front of the line and checked out. I also asked for my daughters prescription because we will not be returning to either clinic after being treated so poorly and overlooked. What is the purpose of putting the patients charts in order if your just going to look around the room and choose who you want to provide service to? I took my kids prescription to Walmart and we received excellent customer service!

I recently visited Tri-county for an eye exam, overall, the visit was great. I was well taken care of and the staff was super nice. I didn’t have a long wait but white I waited, I chose to look at frames. ( I advise anyone waiting or with some spare time to go look and have a conversation with Ms Allyssa. She’s great at her job and great with people. I asked her all sorts of questions and she provided me with answers that I could understand easily.) my exam was relatively quick and I’d just as quickly recommend this clinic to anyone who’s in need of it.

Very Pleased I came to Tri-Care Eye Clinic without an appointment because I had severe pain in my eye and my regular ophthalmologist is closed on Fridays. They worked me in and took good care of me. I went for a routine eye exam. I waited 40 minutes in the lobby before they called me back to be seen. The tech was quick and did the first eye exam part just fine. Then I had to wait another 30 minutes to be seen by the doctor. A 9:40, routine eye exam (and I do not have glasses and did not need dialation), was a two hour appointment, with an hour of that just waiting. The doctor did not listen and kept speaking over me and interrupting me. I would not recommend.

The staff is friendly enough. The building is off putting if you notice things like the mold on the vents and the toilet not being completely attached to the floor. All I kept thinking was my boys are on allergy meds/shots and antibiotics due to sinus/ear infections. I stayed only because my husband would have never let me live it down that I picked the place.

I’m not even sure they deserve a full star. I randomly chose them because they accept Tricare, and I will never be back. I do not recommend the clinic. During check in, it was clear everyone was just running around like chicken with their heads cut off. The receptionist was interrupted multiple times and abruptly got up to have a conversation with a nurse regarding a patient who needed to be checked in... while in the process of handling mine. I was taken back fairly quickly by a nurse who took me to a room to check my glasses, then to another room for a pre exam and pressure test. Then I had to wait in the lobby for a room for the doctor to become available. It seemed as though he was running around between patients. At least three. He finally saw me and barely had time to shake my hand, but not before pausing in the doorway to have a conversation about visiting Thailand with a patient. He saw I had glasses on, wanted me to put in contacts. He heard me say my previous ones were a certain script and type. He said “there ya go!” And walked out. Leaving me with a nurse. I asked if he was just going to put in that prescription and she mumbled “They don’t always change,” and also walked out. They kept leaving and coming back without explaining themselves. He asked me if I needed to have my eyes dilated for a certain part of the exam... I’m not the doctor. He forgot I had glasses with me. He at one point announced to the office “I’m losing it!” And afterwards the nurse said to follow her to order contacts. The doc remained seated. I asked twice because he didn’t hear me ask if I should stay and finish with him or go with her. He mumbled to go. I said “thanks...?” And he said, oh yes, thank you, thank you. Too busy to be bothered. The nurse didn’t explain I needed contacts order to the next receptionist, so that was also fun. I’m explaining in detail so hopefully no one else has to deal with this quizzical show for two hours.

I visited for a routine contact exam Friday....Tuesday I get symptoms of an eye infection. They won’t call in a script or waive my co-pay for the infection I got in their office. Then was asked by the front office staff how this was their fault. UNREAL customer service by the front staff and overall bad business by the doctor for not taking care of a patients problem that was clearly caused by a dirty office.

I was very impressed on how great the experience was with Tri-County Eye Clinic! The front desk was very professional but yet didn’t give off any negative or robot type expressions. The work up tech was very helpful and patient. It did take a while on the device that they put on your face and you read the board. The scribe Desiree’ was a pleasure to talk to!
