Southern Eye Center is the best place for eye care that I have found. The staff is experienced, kind, knowledgeable and willing to help. I've seen two of their doctors on staff, and have been impressed with both. My cataract surgeries went well. I was able to have the consult and surgery the same day without the expected trip back the next day. The staff made sure I knew what to watch for and checked on me by phone. They saved me time and money as I live 90 miles away. Anytime I have a problem with my eyes, I can connect with the right person by phone. I appreciate them and recommend them to my friends and family.

My Dad had cataract removal done on both eyes. Dr Nelson and his staff were AWESOME!!!! They were kind and comforting. They made my dad feel at ease and took excellent care of him!!!!!

Today I was attended by a very nice young man named Doug. He is a people person and will I am sure help generate an even better name for Souther Eye. The Physician was Dr. Abumere Akinwale who was fantiatic, she was very polite, thorough and patient in diagnosing my problem advising me to check with a nerve Dr. for a more in depth look into my problem. These people dont even deserve a 1 star they are ruining peoples eyes and some lives are definitely affected by these people in bad ways stay away from southern eye center they have messed up me , my family and some friends of mine DO NOT LET THEM OPERATE ON U ! THEY WILL RUIN YOUR VISION

Dr Childs I can’t thank you enough ! I came to Southern Eye Clinic almost two months ago with, the vision in one of my eyes it was 20/200, early onset glaucoma . After Dr. Childs implanted stents and preformed lasik surgery on me. I’m happy to say I have 20/20 vision and my eye pressure is coming down . Oh one more thing, he was always there to answer my concerns, night or day, while I was healing. That my friends shows me he cares about his patient !!!!!!
