we've always gone here because it's convenient. the people that work there are great. the only negative is that it can take a while for contacts to come in, however, they will give you spares until yours come in. these reviews on here are really old. this place is really nice and friendly and the exams are thorough.

Called to order contacts over phone, paid in full, was told 2-3 days. I left my number to call when they come in. I call the 5th day, they say it can take 10 days. They said they would call me when they arrive. I call the 15th day, they said they tried to call me several times but my number isn’t good. I ask them what phone number they had and they game me a number that wasn’t even close to mine. I’ve lost track of how many days it’s been but still no contacts. The 2 front desk people I dealt with; 1 was dumb as rocks and the other you could tell has a hard time coloring in between the lines. Go somewhere else.

I have been going here for years and have never had any problems. Very good and friendly service. I agree with some other reviewers that it takes a long time for the contact lenses to come in, but they will give you complimentary pairs while yours are on order, so that has never been an issue for me.

I absolutely love the glasses I purchased. My toddler broke the frame and they replaced them. However, I ordered contacts at the end of March and they will not be in until later this week. I have waited 7 weeks for contacts! The most I have ever had to wait at other eye doctors is 1 week. Overall, I had a good experience with them.

This has been my "go to" place for Eye Care for a few years now. I've bought several pairs of glasses here. So I figured I should write a review since nobody else has. The folks here are always great to work with, and the Dr. even recognized me after a 2 year absence. I first came here after a couple of disastrous experiences elsewhere. They have a complete battery of tests they will do as part of your standard checkup, though you can turn down any of them if you feel inclined, eg. dilation. When it came down to getting lenses it turned out that part of my insurance was out of their network, but they quickly hooked me up with another shop that did. Great value for the money, and the really cheerful people make it a great experience.

From the time I walked in the door until my appointment was finished, I felt like family. I changed doctors since moving from Il to Mo. Pearle exceeded my expectations in every way. This is my first visit to this location. I buy from Pearl Vision almost yearly. The first young lady asked if I was browsing. I told her, "No, looking to buy." Yet, she never came to assist. About 5 minutes later from out of the back comes Mariah and immediately asked if she could assist. She was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. She made my visit welcoming and comforting. Because of Mariah I will return to this location in the future!

worst customer service ever. I called several times trying to figure simply how much does an eye exam cost and I couldn't get through to anybody. FInally, on the sixth try of calling, someone picks up but doesn't say hi or anything. Simply says please stay on hold, and she never came back to the phone...I waited for 10 mins on the phone....RIDICULOUS

Went here for my first ever eye exam as an adult. Dr Tarantino was extremely professional, friendly, and answered all my questions. That last part is especially important, I normally come prepared to a Dr's appointment with questions but it's always a good sign when a doc specifically prompts you for any lingering questions, as Dr Tarantino did. The woman who checked me in at the desk was also really friendly, and overall it was a 20/20 experience ;)

I also don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. I've been here twice and both times were great. My son even broke his glasses TWICE and they replaced them for free both times. My son loves the male doc there. He was great with my kid. The only gripe I would have is that their kids frames selection isn't great. They have mostly wire type frames when I've been in and my other child doesn't like that type.

The customer service is lacking. You call and they put you on hold for several minutes. However, I loved the doctor. He was very nice. It was mainly the front desk that has some workflow issues. I suggest one other person who only does the front desk. It seems the employees there have too many hats and cannot keep up. Also, it has taken nearly five weeks for me to receive my contacts. I called today asking about them and they said it will probably be another week. I have got to find somewhere else to go.

Before driving to this store that is 45 minutes away from my home/work I first called to make sure that they took my insurance and carried a specific brand of glasses. When I called they immediately told me yes to both questions. I then drove all the way to Collierville, selected glasses and was then told that they do not take my insurance. They lady then told me I must have called another store, well, I have a call log on my phone and this was the store that I called, she was incredible rude and proceeded to speak ugly about me to the man that was next in line. I cannot remember the last time I experienced such poor customer service. From looking at the other reviews of this store it must be a common occurrence.

I had my first appointment at this office on April 11. Everyone was knowledgeable about their job. They all worked together very professional, friendly. I had excellent care, my glasses that were in need of repair, were fixed in less then 5 minutes. I had been to another office they couldn’t fix my lens they had to send them out. At first, I was extremely upset due to the disappointing customer service and the lack of staff to assist me. However, when I called to see why they had not contacted me about my husband's new frames that were supposed to be ordered 6 days ago, they informed me that the frames he had were discontinued but that they would replace the lenses for free and charge me the same warranty fee for the new frames. I have to applaud them for the effort they put forth to satisfy us.

I cannot say enough to praise Sarah, the optician who helped me. First, she took the initiative and repaired the side piece on my old glasses so I'd have something to wear while waiting for my new prescription glasses. She replaced the side piece at no charge from a collection of spare parts. She explained how to find titanium frames from the displays so that I felt quite comfortable browsing. They have a great selection of titanium frames from three or four manufacturers, best of all the competition that I have seen. I felt quite comfortable making a selection and adding several upgrades because she helped me select the best of the discount plans I had available to me. I plan to shop this Pearle store for my sunglasses too.

I called today around 5:30 and was immediately put on hold for around 15 mins then afterwards I heard a noise as though it was put off from hold, then I was hung up on. Tried to call back and they had closed the store and it went to voicemail, of course which was full. Horrible horrible customer service. All I wanted was a simple question answered. They won't be getting my business
