This is the best place to go for you or your family's eye problems - big or small. We love our eye doctors and actually enjoy getting new glasses (me) or a followup on my husband H.'s very successful eye surgery (fixing a chronic problem). My children also have gone here, including for LASIK. We all recommend doctors here. A+

Looks like this is great place to take tired eyes for a little rehabilitation! I appreciate the array of doctors available for me to choose from as I have multiple issues.

I would say that at the beginning of the appointment it was great service but from the physician to the payment window, the service was horrible. I will NOT be going back there. I'd rather go to Mobile or Jackson if the service is going to better! I will definitely start paying more attention to customer reviews as well, however this visit was a referral from her pediatrician.

My husband & I both had eye exams with Autumn & Dr LaPrad, we're impressed with both - very knowledgeable and personable. We also used the optical shop and both gals there were very helpful, especially with my husbands complicated three pairs of glasses (some new frames, some reused, all complicated etc.). Office staff remained friendly, helpful and on track even during what appeared to be a very busy morning.

My daughter saw Dr. Debra Laprad for an eyelid procedure and less than 3 months the same issue reappeared. Was told to come back but would have to pay another co-pay; Dr. Laprad would refer to another doctor. Having to pay for another procedure ( really and another co-pay??) when she should have given a full refund since did not fulfill her job. My father-in-law was an ophthalmologist for over 40 years before his passing, at a well known eye clinic in Hattiesburg, Ms. This doctor's behavior would not be acceptable at that clinic. Also, plan on hours of waiting, dr.'s time more valuable then ours!??? Highly recommend NOT using Dr. Debra Laprad!!! I truly hope she reads this; will tell all friends and family on the coast about this experience!! Shame on you Dr. Debra Laprad!!! Total disappointment so beware!!!

First time there and I am definitely going back. Very professional, clean facilities, caring staff. All the newest technologies to make eye exams less of a hassle. The doctor and nurses took time to explain everything from beginning to end. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I arrived early to my appointment by 15 mins. I didn't get seen until an hour after my scheduled time. They were very thorough in their exam but there was a lack of information, an issue with misinformation, and above all else, I was harassed by several people when I tried to make a payment plan. I explained that I've put off getting glasses too long and that it was imperative that I do whatever necessary to get my glasses ASAP. I was told before hand over the phone that payment plans were an option. I got misinformation on pricing and as it turns out, mentioning payment plans to them is a huge mistake. Not only did they treat me like a criminal for it, they lectured me and assumed things about me such as that I drove there. I was wearing shorts and a t shirt because I had to walk there due to car trouble. I had driven earlier this year but not that day. My examiner raised her voice and reiterated several times as if I was deaf "You're not legally allowed drive without you're glasses. You know that right??" I understand why they'd be concerned but concern was not the vibe I was getting at all. They were very hostile with me and this morning I went to explain the situation to the manager and she assumed I wanted a discount. I never asked for a discount. I just wanted to feel like they were willing to work with me. The only thing the manager would say to me other than a reiteration of everything they harassed me about before, was that she'll talk to them. She apologized but the attitude around the entire conversation was "yeah right". She wasn't taking me seriously. She cut me off twice while I was explaining to her. I had to tell her "Ok but I'm not finished. There was more to it". I broke down in tears as i gave them the last $20 I had in efforts to make a payment. The lady at the front desk slid me a peice of paper for the payment plan, ignored my tears, and walked away. They really must've thought I was a criminal. After all I've been through since yesterday, its obvious that they have no regards for people who are not well off. Very poor customer service. I will make payments on the services performed. I take responsibility for that. But I will not be going back there and i will be getting my glasses elsewhere. I also noticed there's only six reviews. That's interesting considering that there were at least five people in the waiting room each time i went there. I won't be surprised if this review gets deleted.

These are the best eye doctors on the Miss. Gulf Coast, so rest assured you picked the right place. I've gone to them for years, as has my family and other people I know. They are outstanding in all eye specialties and also are board certified. I asked! They have MDs (ophthalmologists) and ODs (optometrists) at their 3 clinics and you can't go wrong with any of them! I couldn't be more enthusiastic about any doctors I've seen. I can see again, thanks to them.

A great place to take care of your eyes, for whole family. Best eye doctors all across the coast. Used for years. Heard nothing from friends, too, except wonderful experiences.

Susan Smith

Wonderful staff! I arrived 10 mins late and was checked in with no problem. After seeing the doctor, I am walked up to the check out window and realize my flex spending card was expired. Without a problem the nice lady informed me that she could mail me a bill.

Parshena Smith

Very friendly and professional.

My family has been to several doctors at Eye Associates of the South and they are just OUTSTANDING. Feel good about going there. You will be pleased and your vision will be at its best.

Dr. Eustice examined my daughter when she was a toddler. She kept tilting her head causing us to worry. He cleared her & stated her vision was clear. November 2017', at age 9, Dr. Patel noticed her head tilting during examination & diagnosed her with double vision. She is tilting her head to compensate for the double vision in one eye. He put a prism in her glasses to attempt to correct her head tilt. July 2018 we are back to the eye Dr Patel... her condition worsened. He referred us back to Eustice who was supposed to help with the double vision but was told by Eustice that " she has accomodative spasms and to seek emotional therapy." My child is A/B honor roll & plays 3 sports. Emotional therapy wasn't needed. I sought a second opinion by Dr. Rich in mobile. He agreed with Patel & said she as a "4th cranial nerve palsy on the right said that is congenital." Due to being untreated for so long, we are facing eye surgery. Had this been corrected when Eustice examined her as a toddler we wouldn't be facing eye surgery. As a doctor, it his responsibility to help children & in our case that was not done. I will be sure to share my experience & refer all my friends to Dr Rich or Dr Patel, the doctors who actually took their time and helped my child!

My large family has been going to Dr. Rainna Bahadur and Dr. Debra LaPrad for many years. A few of us need glasses or contacts and a few of us have had major eye issues. In all instances, these doctors are first rate, caring, amazingly skilled and on time, except in one (understandable) instance that one of them was tied up caring for another patient in emergency surgery. Eye Associates of the South is known as the top eye practice on the coast for good reason - they earn it! 5 stars are not enough! Thank you EAOS!

Ron Weyer

I want to thank Dr. Benigno & Dr. Bahadur for handling a scheduling mix up and taking care of me so quickly. Somehow my doctor appointment and location were wrong. But in the end they handled the situation perfect and I was able to make my meeting. Thank You, Ron Weyer
