Highly recommend! My Optician, Diana Long, was very friendly and helpful. She went the extra mile to check with the lab and get my glasses in less than an hour...on a Saturday! It was an emergency, so that was very helpful. She also went over all my options to make sure it was as inexpensive after insurance as possible. My wife also got glasses here about a month ago and the experience was equally impressive. I will not go anywhere else!

If I was able to rate this more than 5 stars I would. Such friendly and amazing staff, that goes for the doctors as well. I had my eye exam done in the early afternoon and placed an order for glasses, they were ready within 5 hours. I would recommend Henry Ford OptimEyes to anyone and everyone!

Absolute horrible customer service from the moment I waited ages to just check in to the moment I walked out. It was just an appointment for my little sister. After waiting for an hour to be seen the lady finally calls us and asks if I am the mom; I tell her I'm her sister and am over 18. She then tells me they can't see my sister. As a solution they wanted my parents to show up, or have them sign a form when both of my parents were at work. I was just doing them a favor taking her to see the doctor. I was extremely disapointed in the service I got today. The ladies at the welcome desk could have told me my parents had to be there. I got off work early just so I could take her to her appointment. Such a waste of time.

Hello, before going to HF OptimEyes on 6/17/2019 I had the great pleasure of meeting a women by the name of Leslie Doyle on the phone, that meeting came about because I lost something that was very important and Leslie took that extra step to try and locate me, in which she did. I thank God that she reached out and notified me of my lost items. I thank you a zillion times Leslie, you are my shero!!. Katina Dawson I have only good things to say about my experience with her as well. On the same day as above I got fitted for glasses and Katina was very attentive, knowledgeable and very helpful with the selection of my eye glasses, even though I had several pairs of glasses that I was trying on and still unsure of which pair to choose, Katina never lost her patience and I thank her for that. I went to OptimEyes a couple of weeks ago for an eye exam. My plan was not to get glasses because my lenses are so usually so expensive. However, Robert Moody worked with me and was able to get me such a great price that I could not refuse. Robert also spent 2 hours with me (literally – and at the end of the day) helping me find a frame that best complimented my face. Robert was so amazing! He was very patient and never made me feel bad for taking so much time picking a frame. I have never, ever received such great customer service when it comes to choosing glasses. He really had knowledge about the frames and what would look best on my face. We payed attention to the look of the frame, the bridge of my nose, the overall fit, and etc. I can go on and on about what a wonderful experience this was. When I picked up the glasses, they were perfect, and I absolutely loved them! The last time I was at OptimEyes, I got a pair of glasses that I was not happy with, and I hardly wore them. This experience turned everything around for me, and I am so grateful for Robert’s assistance.

Omg i have been trying to get glasses for the past two months and my insurance and other places was giving me the run around. Then i was told about Henry Ford OptimEyes and they are awesome. Being blind (without glasses) for almost two months have been hell and Maria Boettcher was awesome. She knew her job and her custumer service skills is out of this world. She took her time with me and explained everything, answered my questions and was just awesome. I walked out of there the first day i went being able to see. Then the very next day i received my glasses. The whole atmosphere was great, From the time i walked in to the time i left . sorry about the long review but i was shocked about the great customer service and the place itself. This is my first bad review ever. This is where I normally go for my annual eye exam, never had any issues. However, I had an eye infection that had to be covered by my health insurance instead of vision insurance. First visit was great, the first doctor prescribed me eye drops and I was charged $75 (because I have not met my Aetna deductible yet). They insisted I come back two days later for a simple FOLLOW UP visit, and Dr. Huang looked at my eye briefly (5 min), and advised it was fine, which is true... and she sent me to the billing desk to pay. To my surprise, she used the wrong billing code so I voiced my concerns to the ladies at the desk. They proceeded to double check with the doctor to see if that correct billing code was used for a FOLLOW UP 5 min visit and the doctor said yes. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! I have educated myself about these billing codes and this one used is for an intermediate to extensive 15 min visit with a moderate level of complexity. SHE JUST LOOKED AT MY NOW HEALTHY EYE FOR 5 MIN! Well that’s another $75. Great way to drive revenue up and not care about honesty and integrity. What happened to caring doctors? Money seemed to be the main focus today. I’ve been coming to Optimeyes for years and this has left a terrible taste in my mouth. Thank you.

Absolute Horrible customer service after initial purchase. My husband had a problem with his eye, thought maybe a broken contact or something. He went there, they looked, gave him eye drops and sent him on his way. When he got home I looked and there was a huge lump under his eyelid that they didn't even notice. I called to talk to the Dr or a nurse and they said someone would call me back, 2 days later still nothing.

I’ve never had to leave a bad review before, so it’s unfortunate that I am now as I really feel the need to. I’m very very dissatisfied & very frustrated to say the least considering my eyesight is extremely terrible, to where I cannot see at all without glasses or contacts. I need to wear either or at all times. My first appointment here, I felt rushed and knew something was gonna go wrong. My prescription was completely wrong, I couldn’t see clear at all. I made an appointment for a recheck, I was seen by a technician rather than a DR, was not taken to a room but rather a desk. Once again I was rushed with this appointment also. I thought my eyes needed time to adjust being that I tried a different brand of contacts. Nope, wrong prescription again. I can’t see clear at all. Always blurred vision. This is extremely frustrating especially because I have yet to order glasses or contacts because of this situation. On top of that, a prior eye clinic had told me I had astigmatism in both eyes, so I had contacts with astigmatisms that worked out very well. This eye clinic told me they did not give me contacts with astigmatism correction in them because it wasn’t “bad enough” to do so, which I feel is also wrong because as I’ve been told by another dr, I do have bad astigmatisms in both of my eyes, hence why they were also in my contacts and once again they worked very well, so I don’t see why with both my prescription and astigmatisms they are getting wrong at this place. I switched eye clinics because I moved, however i am really considering taking an hour drive back to my previous clinic because nobody can seem to get my prescription right at this location. I felt very rushed both times, and I don’t appreciate being seen by a technician rather than a dr considering my prescription was wrong the first time and now again a second time, which I feel it probably would’ve been right the second time around if I was seen by an actual DR and taken to an actual room rather than a desk. This really sucks because I drive a lot, I work, etc and not being able to see is very very irritating. My vision is extremely bad and having this happen is probably the worst thing ever! It’s been a few weeks now I haven’t been able to order my glasses or my contacts because of this situation!! Very unhappy. Really don’t even want to make yet another recheck appointment because this is looking like a repetitive situation! Truly absurd.

We've done everything to order a years supply of ones that don't fit right to set the wrong kind of ophthalmology appointments. Through the whole thing Nicole Duran and Candice Johnson were soo awesome and helpful in making this transition easier for him. They WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY! Thanks Nicole! He loves not having to wear glasses anymore!!! And as a parent I'm so glad I had them to help me through it.
