Staff members are not trained in dealing with elderly people with memory issues. My grandmother has dementia and They left messages/instructions with her that never reached me (her driver & caretaker) even after I alerted them to her memory issues. After missing her surgery time they called with an attitude to ask where we were....this completely upset and confused my grandma as she didn't even remember the initial call to schedule a surgery time. The nurse then told us to "hurry up and get here because the Dr. was almost done with their day." When we arrive to the office the front desk attendant began rattling off a list of things she needed to make copies of(this was my grandmas second eye surgery so they actually had all her info already). My grandma frantically began going through her purse thinking she had forgot something important. The front desk attendant just stared at her until she made a call to someone who said it was fine they didn't need any copies. I'm sure my grandmas blood pressure was ridiculous by the time she made it back for pre op. You would think that a company who's patients are getting cataracts removed would be more sensitive to elderly people's issues.

There is no better place to have glaucoma surgery in Michigan.... Dr. Mark Siegel is my Dr., and the whole surgical staff is truly phenomenal. I highly recommend using this business

In my opinion there anesthesia staff was more upset that my doctor was going to perform my procedure without anesthesia and they wouldn't be able to line their pockets with the big money I'm sure they charge for anesthesia and then between the anesthesia doctor and his assistant they made sure they put doubts in my head and how inadequate my doctor was to do the procedure in the amount of time he said he was capable of doing it. the anesthesia assistant said that there was no way he was capable of doing it in less than 20 to 25 minutes. Then kept mentioning how emergencies could arise and that I needed to have anesthesia and I said the only emergency that would arise is if you did give me anesthesia so when I ask him just what are you talkin about ? anyting could stop your heart I could put my thumb to your eye and apply pressure and that could stop your heart then I had to ask LOL is that something you were going to do! So if you ever have any anesthesia allergies or are very drug sensitive don't go there

The staff are really nice. D r. Marc Siegel was the one that did my cataract surgeries 7 almost 8 months ago. I almost didn't want to leave there, since it was a very nice facility. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who need cataract and glaucoma surgery.

Nice staff and nice waiting room. My dad is here getting cataract surgery done on his eye and a permanent lens put in. I will update the review after he has recovered.

Dr. Sultana is very professional & excellent as a cataract surgeon. The staff here is very nice & polite. It is a very busy office, but considering what these skilled people do, I wouldn't want a rush job. Definitely would visit again!
