I got my glasses here and paid for there $400 anti scratch/anti glare with free replacement . After a month i had a scratch so i took my glasses back and the secretary looked at them and told me that i did not buy anti scratch because it is very expensive and that i would know if i bought it. So i had to go back home and find my receipt take it back in to prove i bought anti scratch. I gave the receipt to the secretary ( snoby bit**) and she tells me that my month old glass are not covered. Do not go here!!!

Dr. Darin has an astonishing knowledge base along with exceptional wit and a formidable humor that I totally appreciate that mix. I went there today for the first time since moving outside Charlotte city limits. Dr. Wildern is awesome and takes his time with you. I didn't feel rushed, and he listened to my concerns, even giving me additional information that I wouldn't have known about without him. Alice is great! Her sense of humor is refreshing, and she even took an interest in helping me pick out glasses. Here humor is infectious through the rest of the staff up front, and they all are friends out of work, so I'm sure it's a great place to work.

I switched to Eye Care Associates after receiving less than friendly service at another Charlotte practice. I'm definitely not returning, as I have been treated very well at Eye Care Associates. I wear contacts and the doctor worked with me to find a different make of contacts to improve my vision. I actually received several complimentary pairs as we tried to find the perfect fit for me. I highly recommend them for friendly, efficient, and professional eye care serrvices.

Amanda, who did the initial testing was adorable. She explaining everything and cleaned every machine carefully before I used it. I appreciated that throughout my visit. Dr Olmestead was very careful in his testing. They all took their time and I felt they really cared about the quality of their service. Great fast service. In an out. Only thing I didn’t like was the doc didn’t say she was putting eye drops in my eye that was thick and yellow and why she was doing it til afterwards and it didn’t work bc I couldn’t open my eyes for a few minutes. Everyone is helpful and kind.

Eye Care Associates of Charlotte was great to me! I called and asked for appt, told them I had my wedding coming up in two weeks and rely need glasses. They got me in on a Tuesday at 11AM! Appt. Was quick and I felt welcomed the whole time. I needed my glasses by next Thursday i told them and we'll they put orders in quick and got to business and I got my glasses in two day! Thursday I get a message saying my glasses were done and I can get them. I wasn't expecting my glasses for a whole week longer but they made things happen so I didn't miss my big day with old junk glasses. Thanks eye care associates of Charlotte!

Recently switched to this facility, and couldn't be happier about it. Unlike other places where they just tell you you're fine or you need this or that, Dr. Wildern actually takes the time to go over your results, explain what they mean, and explain any and all conditions you might have. Instead of feeling like you're one more item on a conveyor belt, you feel like an equal partner in assessing your health and making decisions for your body. All of the office staff have been friendly and helpful. I couldn't be happier with the care my son and I have received so far.

I had my eye exam and glasses made here and something is wrong. I told the woman when I first picked them up that something wasn’t right with the lenses and she told me I needed to get used to them and sent me on my way. I went back in today because they are still not usable (I run into things and trip over things because things get distorted) and was told it’s too late to do anything because I’ve had them for 6 months. That they could’ve helped me in the first 30 days, even though I told the woman on day 1 that something was wrong. My insurance only covers one pair every 2 years so now I’m screwed.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Olmstead for 30 years and his office has been amazing the entire time. The exams are very thorough and the staff are always so helpful and kind. I moved to Grand Rapids 5 years ago and switched my optometrist upon moving but returned to Eye Care Associates the very next year! I don’t mind the drive for that level of care! Update..Just took my kids there for the first time today. Dr Olmstead was great with them and explained every step so they understood. He even discovered my son is slightly cross eyed, something another Optometrist missed.

Turns out my appointment was actually at 930 and after driving 40 minutes in a rain storm with my daughter I was told our appointments were canceled. The people here are always so nice and understanding with my eye issues (because of autoimmune disorders). Last year my eyes were so dry and burning during the testing, I was wanting to cry it was so hard but the assistant kept reassuring me we were almost done and I was doing great. This year we're really trying to tackle the dryness. My only issue is their phone/email/text message services. I hope they get them straightened out so we're not getting so many messages about appointments, glasses, changes, etc.
