Their contact lens department is AWFUL! They never pick up the phone and do not bother returning the calls. I had to go through the optical shop (which btw is great) to get hold of a person in their contact lens department. And when I did connect she was extremely rude and could not be bothered to stay on the phone more than 30 seconds. I have been trying to order lenses for the last 2 months. Switching to another optical shop now. Its frustrating because I I have been a loyal customer with them for a long time but their customer service for contact lenses is plain awful.

My optometrist referred me here for a 5 minute procedure. Dr. Kaul at Tallman performed a 3 hour completely unnecessary laser surgery on my eye. During the procedure I was offered an otc medication. I explained that I can not take ibuprofen, only acetaminophen. The assistant brought me Advil, an ibuprofen. I said again, I can't take that. The associate said, "well, what should I do with these then". I said, I don't know, but I can't have them. Under her breath, in Spanish, she called me an a**hole. I honestly don't think she cared one bit whether I understood what she said or not. They tried to convince my optometrist that the procedure was needed. She wasn't buying any of it. ANYONE DESERVES BETTER THAN THIS PLACE!

I cant understand why such horrible reviews I'm reading. I have been going to this place for several years and I have always had great outcomes. I had to have surgery on my eyes that no other physician would do and I just cant believe how speedy all went. If there was a way to give more than 5 tallman eye associates would get them. I highly recommend this place. They saved my sight.

Long wait. Had an apt. For my mom here apt. Was at 9:20 AM. THEY OPEN AT 8AM. 9:50 STILL WAITING AND THERE ARE 4 PEOPLE AHEAD OF HER. Staff is rude and don't care.

I had to bring my mother in to the ER for eye pain, and the on call refused to work with the ER. They don’t even know what hospital they’re affiliated with. We had to go into Boston to Mass Eye and Ears emergency room, because of the schlocks they have here. Not to mention when you are seen in the office how rude the staff is - including the doctors. So not only do you have to wait 2 hours past your appointment time (last experience in the office when I brought my mom in), but you get be treated poorly. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for treatment.

I also cannot believe the bad reviews. The people at Tallman Eye Associates have been nothing but polite and professional. They have always treated my 84 year old mom with dignity and respect. She had cataract surgery on one eye and it went perfectly well and she can see again. I’m very thankful for their services.

My son went in for a medical condition and they billed it as a routine. No one in billing ever returns a phone call when they state they will return within 24 hours. Once a very successful and prompt business is now turning into a below average business. The father that opened this practice would not be proud.
