I have been a patient of Dr. Cline for the past 10 years. Dr. Cline diagnosed my eyes with Keratoconus, a progressive disorder that has been effecting my eye sight greatly. Dr. Cline has been monitoring my eyes and prescribing the best possible eye prescriptions to help my sight as much as possible, till I have the means necessary for a cornea transplant. Because of work reasons I had to move further away, but Barbara was kind enough to actually ship my new glasses to me! They deserve a million stars review!

This is a decent place with some nice people. The reason for 3 star is this one particular old guy, who is very grouchy and rude. He is in reception desk and he is the one who takes your orders for glasses. Avoid dealing with this guy if you can. He is MR. KNOW IT ALL!

Although the results gave me concerns, I am glad I went and found these issues sooner than later so I can take the necessary steps to keep my vision healthy. Dr. Le did a good job explaining what she was doing and why. She was very pleasant and caring. I felt that my vision was in good hands. Also, the woman that worked the eyeglass desk, was extremely friendly and helpful. She explained my options and for the first time in 60 years I actually filled the prescription (I have been using over the counter reading glasses for years). I would definitely recommend Randolph Eye to anyone.

I have only one 'good' eye and her knowledge and expertise in treating my eyes,especially the 'good'eye, has been exceptional.The office staff is always friendly and Wayne and Barbara have always been there for any frame problems.Kudos to all!

The business was Personal Eyes in Randolph when first 2 reviews were posted. The 3rf is not even for them. Click reviews and then click the relevant and check newest. I have been going there 12-14 years. I recently stopped in with my glasses that broke in half. I have insurance that covers 2 pairs a year. I was informed I would have to pay out of pocket if I needed emergency loaners. The doctor made several horrible comments and was angry while trying to extort me. Then he told me I was considered a new patient. I asked when did the place switch owners and why was I not notified. The Doctor said my 3 generations of medical records were bought by him. I have a nursing license and HIPPA was running through my brain. No one should be able to sell our medical records without our permission. The doctor blamed everyone else including myself, ( for not utilizing my second pair allowance), he was extremely rude. Lastly as I was leaving I turned and said," you will not do well in our community if you run your business like this". I was ashamed with tears in my eyes when he yelled at me he had the same frame but because I begged for my safety and ability to drive my granddaughter to school,( I wear bifocals). He raised his voice telling me he had 2 other stores and did not care how Randolph does. I was compelled to inform my neighbors after I saw the similar complaints all for the new Randolph eyes, ( that purchased your medical records when he bought the business). Keeping the name similar most might not know it was sold. Front desk has always been pleasant. I feel so sorry for your employees. I forgive you for your insults, attempts to use my emergency for pocket profit. I am sorry if this review upsets you but hope you realize your behavior needs addressing. Thank you kindly for your time.

I been with randolph eye since2010, and before that in the mattapan office since 1980. It has been a great experience. Dr Cline has been great, only prescribing just what I needed. Dr Cline has been great. I couldn't ask for a better optometrist. Thanks for the great care

My previous eye doctor retired and he forwarded all of our information to Randolph Eye Associates and I have never been more displeased with service. My prescription has been consistently made weaker and even though I mention that I have persistent headaches and am unable to see with my glasses, they change nothing. I recently tried to call, was put on hold and then taken off, only for them to tell me they would call me back, which they never did. I have been trying to get a copy of my file for weeks now and it has been impossible. I would not recommend Randolph Eye Associates to anyone who is searching for a new eye doctor.

Called to make an emergency appointment and the receptionist acted like she could care less. Poor customer service quality. Not impressed. Eyes are very delicate and if someone has an emergency in regards to their eyes it should not be taken lightly. I'm not going blind because of a nonchalant receptionist. This would have been my first visit there but I refuse to go where proper customer service will not be rendered...... I got a response from the facility. It's terrible to see you try and blame the patient. I called your eye office in order to see if there was something really wrong or something that they could take care of, now you are saying I should have gone to the ER. Then what is your office for? Thank goodness for the other eye office I went to around the corner who took me in and treated the problem minus the ER. It seems as though everyone inside this establishment needs a course on proper patient care and etiquette!

Horrible customer service. The wait times for appointments is RIDICULOUS. Both in the sense that they need to be booked MONTHS in advanced. Then, the wait times to be seen. Yet somehow, don’t ever think about running, even if you call and say you are running late, they’ll say you can be seen and then you get there and all of a sudden it’s a different story. I went to this place for years, but I feel like I deserve to get treated like a human by a place I’m giving my money to and will not be returning.

I have a very strong astigmatism and need to have custom made toric contact lenses which are quite expensive. The first one from a new box of six was defective so i asked to have just that one replaced. I have a busy schedule so i asked them if they could simply mail the lens to me so i wouldn't have to make another trip over there. The receptionist asked the office manager and she wouldn't part with a postage stamp. I have been going here for a few years and the customer service has all but disappeared. very disappointed

Excellent experience! The doctor was great and gave a comprehensive and thorough exam. Barbara helped fit me with terrific frames and advised me exceptionally well for my very complex prescription. Called to make an appointment for an eye exam and the receptionist seemed unconcerned and dismissive. I asked her 3 times for the price of glasses + contacts exam. She eventually quoted me a good price. Chit-chatted back and forth about availability, meanwhile she's giggling at something happening there in the office and not paying much attention to what I'm saying. I repeated everything back to her to confirm only to find out she quoted me the wrong price. She paused for a bit and gave me a higher price. OK fine. So I asked about availability (again). She put me on hold for several minutes and then she answered the phone again as if I was a new caller. I told her it's still me waiting. She did not apologize and told me again to "hold on" (not "please hold"). Then she hung up on me. It was not a dropped call or random disconnect because I clearly heard the clicking sound you hear when someone hangs up a landline office phone on you. There are too many other eye clinics around to settle for a place where I was treated poorly by a complacent receptionist the very first time I spoke to them. First impressions are everything.

Randolph Eye Associates have been my eye doctor since moving to Randolph in 1996. My whole family and many people that have moved to Randolph or in the nearby areas now go there as well. Barbara is the best to help you find glasses. Usually the first 3 pairs that Barbara will pick for you will be one of the ones you will happily walk away with. I recently had an appointment and 2 days later my glasses were ready for pickup! The best place ever for glasses and for a full examination.

I would never go there again! I waited over a hour to get my eye exam and then was given a story about how the doctor was behind. On top of that, when I tried to reschedule, she said that the earliest appointment was in June. Tell the pt. up front if the doctor is running that far behind. Never again!!

My family has been going here for quite some time. Never any issues until I brought in my 12 yr old daughter. Doctor’s bedside manner towards her was awful from go. He then put in eye pressure drops with NO warning except “now you take the road from child to adult” UM WHAT?! My daughter had a reaction immediately screaming she couldn’t see and then started shaking and passed out! He stood there. Literally stood there. When I screamed what’s wrong what did you give her? He looked at me shocked that I was upset and said “I’ve seen this type of reaction before. It happens in high strung individuals” I said she’s 12!?! Then once she came to It was ok, sit for a few minutes then go pick out new glasses... like it was just normal! It scared her and I so much it was awful. My daughter’s new eye doctor said there was no reason for a 12 yr old to be given eye pressure drops and that most places never do on children that age without a reason. NEVER going back again!

The front desk and my doctor were very helpful and kind. However, the old woman showing me options for glasses is the reason for my bad experience. She did not provide the information that I have the option to pick free glasses that my insurance completely pays for but instead showed me prices of glasses that are way too expensive. My sister called in and asked for the free options and that woman was so rude and dismissive on the phone. I went back to the place and chose from the free choices and she gave me 0 eye contact and just threw 3 glasses on the desk. After I chose, she says I can just head right out which i did. Then I get a call 5 minutes later from the front desk that I have to come back to get my credit refund back. The old woman told them that she told me to go to the front desk which was a bold face lie. Next time I have to make an appointment, I will be looking for a different place

terribly slow. they checked my blood pressure????? 15 minutes after my appointment time and 1/2 later still no one was checking my eyes. if i want my blood pressure taken I will go to my primary.
