My mother and i have been receiving our eye care here for literally years. I am diabetic and my mom has got to receive eye injections every month. My mom moved out to the south shore and started seeing a new eye doctor closer to her. She was in terrible pain after the new doctor treated her. She thought it could've been a fluke and gave him another chance. The same thing happened! So, now my 94 year mom travels from Hingham to this office again. They are top notch. And, i see Dr. Tabaie in couple of weeks. Just fbulous in spite of the usual long wait.

Front desk people are horrible to talk to. Very very rude and most importantly when ever i tried to ask something, they said they are busy, when actually they were gossipping ofc politics. Also, they screwed up my insurance info. I had two insurances covering my eye, one complementary and another one with proper. All they could find was the complementary one. Even when i called my insurance and they realized their mistake, their reaction was like its not their job to figure out insurances. The only star which i could give is because of the doctor. He was real nice and caring person. Also, their frame collection is extremely poor. Hardly a 100 frames in total [including men and women]

Their version of service is shameful. I had an 8:30 appointment and was not seen by the doctor until 9:20 after I asked if the Dr was in. They abandoned me for twenty minutes without any followup. They stash you in a room at 8:50 and do the prep with a technician, including writing the prescription, which the Dr. later verified. The front desk people never apologized for ignoring me. I should have known when I called to make the appointment between noon and 1 only to discover they close the office for lunch and TAKE NO CALLS. You have to call back at a time that suits them. Who do these front desk people think pays their salary? Avoid these people at any cost!!

My experience at Medical Eye Care has always been excellent. I have been going here for about 6 years. The front desk staff is always pleasant and accommodating with my schedule. Dr. Tabaie is a professional, does terrific with my glasses prescription and who usually runs on time. I purchase my glasses from the optical shop. There have a various frame selection. The best place to go for all your eye care needs.

First visit, no one at the front desk. Sat in the waiting room listening to the office small talk for half an hour. Left after talking with office person. What a bunch of BAFOONS.
