Awful office practices. Scheduled a first available appointment for my son (existing patient) for an exam since he was overdue by two years and was experiencing an issue anyway so figured couldn't hurt to kill two birds with one stone. My insurance covers our exams 100%. The appointment was apparently scheduled as a medical issue primary and exam secondary and not the other way around as intended. Long story short, we had to pay $300 out of pocket for exams that should have been covered 100%. There was an additional test done to check into the small issue my son was having that prompted the routine exam which we fully expected to pay for not covered under the 100%. We argued this with the billing department, twice, and they would not own up to the error or recode the visit for the portion covered 100%. Bad, bad, bad practice. Will NOT be coming back to the place again. By the way, the specialist doctor only spent 2 minutes with my son to discuss the issue, all of the other routine exams were done by other staff members. Very unprofessional.

The front desk receptions are awful! They are rude and massively immature. The lady did not have a cell in her head. I had tried telling her something about my insurance and she froze and just stared at me like she lost her brain, I said just never mind and she got a huge attitude then goes gggggg, just like a teen with a bad attitude. Then started to talk badly about me to the next patient that walked in !! God awful place!

Gave a 1 because I never even made it as far as making an appointment, because the front desk was so rude. I called to make an appointment for my grandson for strabismus (lazy eye) she had no idea what I was even saying. You work for an ophthalmologist you should know the terminology. Then I asked her how far they were booking out she said 1 month. So I then asked if it is okay to wait that long he is only 2. To which She replied "that's up to you" I said could you please check with the doctor. She seemed irritated by this. She gets back on the phone and says the best we can do is August 29th @ 8:15 am. I said do you have anything later. She says " that's all we have do you want it or not? I said "no I'm all set" and hung up. Dont think I was asking much I was concerned about a toddlers vision.

Under Dr. Kaldawy's care I can drive at night without glasses, and none of my friends can. I am 86 and my eyesight is now wonderful. I could not be happier with my eyesight now.

Front desk was friendly. We didnt wait long. Dr. Adams was FANTASTIC! He was thorough and had a great personality. We had a wonderful experience there.

8:15 am appointment ... got here at 8 am ... was told the tech wasn’t even here yet !!!! 8:50 and still in waiting area !!! Done ! They should be reported

Front desk staff is rude and unprofessional. I had to wait three hours for scheduled appointment. All seats were occupied, and we had to stand the entire three hours. obviously, the office staff is over booking appointments. FYI, They are only open M,T,W in Milford.

Front desk are so rude. This is the worst place of my life, it takes 3 hours to make any appointments, and the doctor did not spend even 2 minutes of his time with any patient. (Milford-MA Location)

Would recommend looking elsewhere. I had a 3pm appointment and was still waiting to see the doctor at 5:30. Clearly they double booked appointments. Funny thing is, is that I had a different appointment, on another day, and they called and asked if I could change my day/time because they had double booked. When it was changed, I told the receptionist that I was limited on time that day, she assured me that appointments only last an hour and a half. I ended up walking out. I will never go back there. Save your time and go somewhere else. 2 and half hours I will never get back.

Front desk are the rudest people. One receptionist with long dark stringy curly hair seemed pissed she had to answer my question! I love Dr Hatch but his front desk people are so rude.

Front desk was ok with me. I've been going here for years. Never a problem. Dr. Hatch is great.

My 93 year old is a patient here. Correction, was a patient here. Tried to get a message to the doctor that she can no longer squeeze her eye drops. Since she lives in a memory care assisted living facility she has to self-administer her drops. I was told by he receptionist, or whoever answered the phone, that there is nothing else that can be done. I couldn’t even talk to the doctor!

Visited Milford with an appointment that was setup by Franklin office after and appointment we had there. We showed up on day and time that was told to us. They RUDELY told us that WE did not have an appointment. They couldn't take ownership of the mix up. What were they thinking that we would just walk in. They initially did nothing to help us. Someone from out back came out and did help us get in after a short wait. Front desk needs to be trained in customer service, she should be told the customer is the most important person in the office. Without the customer she doesn't have a job!

Every time I've been there I have had to wait an hour or more. Today they told me 2 hours up front and I stayed. I couldn't imagine it would really be so long. Wrong. Over 2 hours. Every time I have been there the staff has always been very pleasant and I'm sorry to write a negative review but they need to revisit their scheduling practices. Signed. A former patient.

In May 2016 I went to see Dr Hatch for the sole purpose of a Driver's License Renewal Eye Exam. Dr Hatch informed me he could not give me a Driver's License Eye Approval. So I left . Today , almost 2 years later I get a bill for $400!! Saying a Comprehensive Eye Exam. BUT he NEVER gave me a comprehensive Eye Exam. I don’t even recall him checking my eye sight. I’ve never been Scammed by a Dr before!! WOW!! Looks like a call to the MA Attorney General's office tomorrow ...

How can you call this a professional business!! We waited over 3 hours for our appointment, made another appointment the the ridiculous $250 to learn how to put the contacts in...then we get a call 25 mins before the appointment because they claim to have not enough techs...Awful Experience!!!
