I was very pleased with my visit today. The Dr. definitely had her A game on today. The Dr. explained and answered my questions and results to my understanding! The Dr. was very knowledgeable and thorough with the exam which I really appreciated. I would strongly recommend this Dr. to anyone looking for a very good Eye Dr.

Visited yesterday to pick up contact lenses and place an additional order for a 6 month supply. I was met by a very unfriendly receptionist. She was extremely cold and unapproachable. I had initially spoken to a very friendly person on the phone, which clearly was not who I met. As I completed my order, she exhibited absolutely no manners. I would recommend additional training for her. Hopefully she was not a manager. Shameful.

All of the doctors there are very kind and attentive. I tried many different varieties of contact lenses before we finally decided on the appropriate ones. They were very patient throughout the entire process, and I received the most thorough eye exam I have ever had to date. My entire family is using them now, we had a great experience.

I had an excellent experience. It was my first time in and i was leery about an eye practice at a big eyeglasses chain. I was really great. Everything including cost was explained up front and then exactly as explained. My doctor (dr. Lord) was incredibly pleasant and professional. They also provided no pressure to fill the Rx at the chain, although i probably will since the prices on frames were pretty good. Got me right in and right out with 2 Rx for glasses and lenses and a clean bill of health on my eyes. Just great.

Dr. Lickteig and his staff are the best. I was able to get my appointment for an eye examination within a week, at a time that worked for me. Done easily online! I was not kept waiting for more than a few minutes. Everyone I met with in the office was courteous and professional. Dr. Lickteig is very easy to talk to, and he explains the procedures and results so you can understand. I can recommend Dr. Lickteig without hesitation.

The technicians were inexperienced and very disruptive during the visual field test: door opened a couple of times causing a glare, gossiping in whispers about previous customers, moving the equipment several times during testing which caused discomfort and disruption, unable to get the technology working for one of the tests, .... This was not my first comprehensive testing, so I know how it 'should' be done when handled by professionals. If it weren't for the kindness of the Dr Zelkha (and previous knowledge of Dr Lord), I wouldn't have booked a follow up; nor would this review get 2 stars instead of 1. Next appointment is with Dr Lickteig (practice owner) so I'll see if there's an improvement. If not, I will need to seek out a more professional, competent practice.

The only reason I keep using this business is because Dr. Jennifer Wei in the natick mall location is an absolute professional and the best doctor I have ever dealt with. If she opened a private practice, I would follow her there. The technicians are so incredibly rude and don’t bother leaving a message because nobody will ever call you back. Lickteig eye care handles customers like they are doing you a favor lending their time to you. My dentist appointments are more appealing than going to get my eyes checked and that’s saying something.

We love going to Lickteig Family Eyecare. They've consistently been knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. They have the latest equipment, and a simple eye exam has never been easier. They are colocated with a LensCrafters, but there was no hard sell, nor any insistence that we buy our glasses there. I'm sure we'll be going to Lickteig for years to come.

Although I was a first-time visitor at this location, the front desk staff were helpful in getting me squared away and registered. Through my exams, things were very straightforward and efficient. They are consummate professionals, with state of the art equipment, wonderful staff, and I always feel that I’m getting the best Eye care. I can’t recommend them enough. What an excellent experience from beginning to end! The technician that checked me in, Kristen, was extremely friendly. The technician, Diana, did my pre-screening and walked me through everything she was doing and why she was doing it. Extremely polite and friendly. The eye exam was done by Dr Lickteig. His exam was the most thorough exams I've ever had. He showed me the pictures of my eye and taught me alot about my eye health. Highly recommended!!

Amazing contact lens fitting experience for my son Jacob today! Dr Lickteig was thorough, patient, and answered EVERY question asked of him by my 10 year old son (relevant or not). My son had the most ENJOYABLE experience getting fitted for his therapeutic gas permeable contact lenses - and could not wait to share with his friends how easy the entire process was. Of course it's easy when you are at the hands of an AMAZING instructor like Dr Lickteig!!

Dr. Lord is obviously very professional and committed to her profession.it was a great exam and she spent ample time with me answering questions. When it can time to ask for my PD, she complied but also said the people in her adjunct store had a better instrument to calculate this. But she did measure it and as it turns out it was entirely different than the PD I have been using for years in glasses that have been entirely effective for glasses I purchased online. It’s disturbing to me that I spent an hour with an OD only to find out after that the PD was way off from what I was wearing and also way off from her associate I saw one year ago gave me. Mistakes are possible...we are all human. But part of me believes that Optometrists associated with retail business in this case LensCrafters have little interest in equipping their patients with the info they need to buy online. This is very short sighted thinking in that what costs $600 at Lenscrafters costs $150 online. For that reason in the future I will seek an Eye Doctor with no retail optical affiliation. Other than this perception of mind, which may be incorrect I think Dr. Lord is great.
