REVIEWS OF Kadrmas Eye Care New England - Mashpee IN Massachusetts

I wish I could give them a negative number of stars because they are that bad. Kayla is kind and pleasant. The rest of the staff doesn't understand that patients are human beings. I have an issue that requires treatment. The receptionist wouldn't allow me to leave without scheduling an appointment. It was a day I alreedy knew I couldn't do. She said I could cancel it later. I have to think Dr. Katamus must be a tyrant to work for because she kept repeating "the doctor says this is when I have to schedule it". Also she must have asperger's or something because she's incapable of looking at anyone, much less eye contact. She asks everyone if they have sunglasses. Mine were a visible on my person. I learned even though they have multiple offices only provide treatment in Plymouth. I'm not going to Plymouth. If something happens and closes a bridge, getting on or off the Cape is a nightmare. I missed a flight in 2015 because of an overturned cranberry truck on the Sagamore bridge. Feel free to check. Anyway, went home and called to cancel the appointments. The schedilers aren't allowed to cancel "treatment" appintments. I found a physician with multple offices on the cape. I called Katamus' office again this morning to ask about getting my records sent to the new practice. I didn't have time to walk to a place to fax request as that is the only way to request if you don't have time for snail mail. Dr. Katamus' assistant left a message while i was at an appointment. I returned her call because I am a civilized human being. She's the one who told my appointments in Plymouth weren't canceled even though I said point blank I wouldn't show up. She claimed the message she received was that rransportation was an issue for me. It is but I also told them directly that I found a practice for treatment on CAPE COD. She questioned me over and over. I became ulset becaus she was relentless. She's antagonistic. I have never revisited a doctor before because people like different tyles of practices. I like nothing about this group. Also, there was an amount due from a previos appointment. The receptionist said "I see you spoke to Christie. I was never contacted so the woman either lied or called the wrong person. I looked at the call history with the when I got home. It showed when I called to schedule 1st appointment and confirmation call for yesterday's appointment. Scary to imagine how often they voilate HIPPA. Also, definitely expect a long wait time.

Rude doctor lacking any compassion who couldn't manage to understand I blink when someone puts something in my eye. Beyond that they use an outside billing company who totally billed me the wrong way, 6 months later and we are still trying to work it all out

Wait time way to long. Been waiting for an hour to get in

Dr. Eddie Kadrmas saved both my eyes as best he could after two retina detachments at an early age from 2008-2011 when my dear husband and I lived in Plymouth, MA. I truly believe if not for his operating "touch" and "keen" eye / insight I would not be writing this and looking out my two windows of light now. He was a "gift from God" to my dear husband and I. I was blind for awhile and suffered many setbacks BUT Dr. Eddie Kadrmas was kind, supportive, and exhibited a great brilliance in helping me become "functional." I can even drive looking out my two windows of light. I'm a writer / screenwriter and have since moved to Chapel Hill, NC, where I see the head, Dr. Glenn J. Jaffe, of Duke Eye Center / Retina / Duke Department of Ophthalmology who I adore. He's my "guardian eye-angel" in the South. Dr. Eddie Kadrmas is "the man" in New England if you have a retina detachment, surgery and on-going eye issues. "God bless him today and always."
