ASA corrective eye surgery has been one of the absolute best things I have ever done! No more glasses, no more contacts, no more squinting or dry eyes from contacts. It’s amazing to be able to wake up and see! This is all thanks to Eye & Lasik Center. My experience with Eye & Lasik Center is has been phenomenal. Everyone that I have interacted with has been friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I was excited but nervous having corrective vision surgery but the doctors and staff put any apprehension at ease. They were very responsive and really prepared me for the procedure. Everything that I experienced while recovering was disclosed in the pre-op visits so I knew exactly what to expect. The entire process - the screening, the pre-op, the operation itself and the post op visits - were scheduled in advance and the staff was so organized and accommodating with the scheduling. I highly recommend Eye & Lasik and am so grateful for my new vision. I feel like a new person.

I was referred to them from a customer. From start to finish they were great. Very professional and organized. They gave me great detail on what happens and what could happen. The surgery itself was really cool. Took about an hour from when I entered to when I left. Woke up the next day and wow!!! I can see great. The aftercare is great. Went in three times so they could make sure all is well. Would recommend it to anyone. Priced right also. No upsell and no b.s.

Got my Lasik procedure done here and I couldn't be happier with the results. During the surgery, I experienced no pain at all! Post-op, I barely had any discomfort and healed nicely. The doctors allowed for the whole process to go by quick and smooth and they explained everything very thoroughly. They were also very organized and timely. Barely any wait time at all for any of my appointments. I would say that if you are feeling hesitant about getting Lasik like I was, you should just go for it and be sure to get the procedure done with the Eye & Lasik Center! Highly recommend!

Called to make an appointment for my 6 year old daughter an established patient. Give her birthdate to the receptionist taking calls. Put on hold for a few minutes, she comes back and says we have an appointment today at 2. Otherwise next available is December. I take the appointment as my daughter needs to be seen. We make the 45 min drive to be told the doctor we had the appointment with does NOT see children under the age of 8!!!!! Was told we need to reschedule. We did not do so bc I find this unacceptable. If there are doctors who have these requirements then the staff making appointments need to be aware before making children’s appointments!!!

After having my appointment "re-shceduled" three times I finally got in to see the doctor. I've been a patient here for over 4 years and have astigmatism and prisms in my glasses and cataracts so I need to be seen as a medical appointment. Shouldn't this be in my file? After being told that the dr they set me up with (Dr Ahmed) does not do refractions and that I may have to come back they proceeded to do the examination. Dr Ahmed breezed in with absolutely no interest in my concerns. She advised that she does not do refractions and that I must advise this when setting up the appointment. Shouldn't they know who to schedule you with when you've got a file with them? I explained that my eyes have a sensitivity to light and she was less than kind. The girl that took my information was wonderful, documenting the concerns I had. The "doctor" did not address ONE concern and when I questioned the prism she brushed it off stating that LENSCRAFTERS (who I told her I was going to for glasses) had a 90 day return policy and that she'd work with me if the glasses weren't right??? What is that about? The girl that took my information tracked down Dr. Vachula whom I had seen last year and he took the time (already had his jacket on to leave) to come in and correct the prescription with the prisms. I'm not at all confident that these glasses will be correct and will have to take time off of work (without pay mind you) to go back and see someone who actually cared to take care of their patients needs and make them feel like they mattered. I don't recommend Dr Ahmed and will not see her again.

I came in for an appointment today and was told the doctor is running 45 minutes late. I understand how this happens but I do not understand why a simple phone call letting people know to arrive 30 later than my appointment does not happen. Why isn’t my time important enough for this to happen. You had people actually sleeping in the waiting area because of the wait. Another persons who was getting picked up and their driver came In and was SHOCKED that the person haven’t been seen yet. Again, show more respect to your patients times. Maybe you should look at figuring this out - either you call or you ask your patients to call. I would have had no problem calling and finding out to arrive a bit later.

I recently had PRK/ASA on my right eye and my vision has been great but definitely still healing as the doctors told me it would. I have been on the fence for years wheteher or not to get Laser Vision Correction. After seeing so many happy patients and too many contact lens related eye problems, I knew it was time to take the next step. I am a doctor at the Eye and Lasik Center and I knew I was in great hands. I wouldn't have gone anywhere else and I trust my colleagues with my vision.I hope if anyone is unsure or wants more information about Laser Vision Correction, you come in for a free LASIK evaluation. Highly recommend Holyoke LASIK. One of the best experiences I've had with any type of surgery. No pain what so ever and the results are just incredible. The whole staff from the receptionest to the doctors are very friendly and professional. What I was amazed with was the efficientlcy of the timing of the visits. No wait time. No surgery is pleasant but I have to say I was very comfortable and felt safe leaving my eyes in there hands. Anyone thinking about getting cataract surgery these are the people who you want to perform the surgery. Just can't say enough about the whole experience. Thank you Holyoke LASIK.

Place is horrible wait time is ridiculous. Hard an appointment at 1030 it is now an hour later and still waiting to be seen. Do yourself the favor and find a different place. Save yourself the aggravation

I am pleased to provide this very positive review of the Eye & Lasik Center in West Springfield, MA, along with its staff. I had my consultation to determine if I was a suitable candidate for LASIK on Thurs, Aug 9, 2018. After the staff took the time to examine my eyes and take preliminary measurements, they deemed me to be a great candidate for LASIK. I agreed it was the best course of corrective action for my eyes. I was scheduled for pre-op eye measurements on Wed, Oct 3, 2018, and then my surgery was scheduled for Thurs, Oct 11, 2018. Dr. Warren and Dr. Walkowiak did an excellent job of explaining exactly what was going to happen before, during, and after the surgery. The cost of the surgery includes all pre and post op appointments. (4 in total: 1 before; 3 after) I had a good deal of discomfort the evening after my surgery, which was to be expected. I was able to see with crystal clear vision, albeit with moderate discomfort, the very next morning. That same morning was my first post-op appointment, when my vision was assessed at 20/15 in both eyes (prior vision was about 20/60). The two prescription drops, in addition to the tear drops, helped me have a swift recovery in both comfort and healing. I am writing this review because I am incredibly pleased with how well this experience panned out for me. I am very happy with how clear my vision is (still 20/15 as of my one-week post-op appointment); I feel like I got to hit the reset button on my vision. This was the best investment I could have made on myself. I thank the surgical services team for an all-around great experience; I would recommend the Eye & Lasik Center to anyone who is a good candidate for LASIK.
