**If you have insurance MAKE SURE YOU FORCE THEM TO USE IT AT THE TIME OF YOUR VISIT. Other wise they'll tell you to take a hike!** I will NEVER go back!
The initial service was ok. Friendly, and helpful. However, the way they handled the payment and insurance was deplorable. After finding out that I had insurance that covered my glasses, I called to have a reimbursement claim put through my VSP insurance. They told me "we can't do that, because it's already been submitted" (I have both health insurance and separate vision insurance). Their solution? Come in and get another pair.
So wait.... I have vision insurance, but am not allowed to use it because they didn't book it right the first time? I hung up, and called my insurance company who was EXTREMELY helpful! They were able to get all of the information out of these crooks and process the claim......Even the insurance agent was appalled at how terrible they handled the situation.
To the people of Center Eye Care:
You strive for customer reviews, and referrals.... So why aren't you going above and beyond to help your patients? Is it right for you to refuse to enter a claim? Is it right for you to tell your patients "come get another pair because that visit was already submitted"? This seems to be an ongoing issue with your office as I can see more then one review regarding this. As someone who has worked in the customer service business for 20 years, this was despicable. You ALWAYS go above and beyond and your patients should feel comfortable coming to you with questions about insurance and what it covers. At the time of my visit I stated several times that I pay for SEPARATE insurance, and never once did anyone think to ask through who? Or search the database? Time to work on customer service skills!
