My husband also goes here and together we know that our eye care is one less thing we have to worry about! I have seen Dr.Kenyon for years and absolutely love going in for my eye exams each year knowing I am going to get the best care. The staff and Dr.Kenyon treat you like part of their team. As soon as you walk through the door , they know exactly who you are ! Pretty impressive considering 9 times out of 10 , the last time they saw you was a year ago .. Great place! Only complaint is the available frames for glasses within the price range that my insurance covers. :( Other than that Dr. Straube is the best! She is excellent with kids and adults alike. Very down to Earth and very smart. The office is really nice and comfortable. :) The manager, Chris is also awesome. We had a problem with my husbands eye glasses and he went over and above to fix the problem and also blessed us with a Dunkin Donuts gift card and a pair of contacts. Super nice. Great customer service.

My sister referred me here, she didn't have enough good things to say, and as a matter of fact, she had a dangerous eye infection and her sight was saved by Dr. Andrea Odle's fast and knowledgeable approach ... I met with Doctor Odle too... and I LOVE her. She's very smart, friendly and good at what she does...I've been twice so far, and the staff is always friendly and I always feel at home.... and they are great on the phone too. So yes, 5 stars... would give more if possible!

Best experience for myself and my 9 year old daughter! Staff are absolutely wonderful! They went out of their to order more frames appropriate for my daughter that insurance would cover 100% because as a single mom of 4 I couldn't afford to get her "pretty" ones out of pocket. They offered to even hold the ones she really likes for a few weeks so I can save up. That is true passion! Not to mention the Dr's are wonderful, office is immaculate, and their hours are extremely flexible.

I found out that I have a "problem" with my eyes that I would have never known if it wasn't for their state of the art equipment.......Now onto the the amazing selection of glasses (which is why I went in the 1st place) wowee! The staff was amazing from the initial call to set up the appointment to picking out my glasses & even taking me around to get opinions when I couldn't choose. As a person who waits FOREVER to do anything on time, I was happy to have found blackstone valley eye care. They got me an appointment almost immediately .Staff was personable and very efficient. I was able to find a great pair of glasses with the help from the tech who was right there willing to help find the perfect frames. To top it all off I recently deleivered a beautiful baby boy. Dr. Kenyon and his staff are exceptional at customer service and have convenient hours including Saturdays. Blackstone Valley eye care was the first eye care place that I feel really gave you the time dedicated to a real appointment. They do not shuffle you in and out the door. They have no problem ordering glasses if you have any problems with what's in stock. Recently I was having severe headaches, blurred vision, etc. Dr. Straube spent hours performing every test in the facility to pre-diagnose me with idiopathic intracranial hypertension, help me get involved with Neuro and obtain the help needed. She also provides all the follow up care needed. I could not be any more happy with the care provided. I would and have recommended them.

He has always spent a generous amount of time with me in the office and answered all of my concerns. He encourages calling with any problems at all. I am a contact lens wearer. Dr. Kenyon always considers my lifestyle and the fit of the lenses. When I order my lenses, they quickly contact me when they come in. I have never had a problem. They also have an extensive array of glasses to choose from, especially since they moved to their new location. My appointments are always on time and the staff is very friendly and professional. There is plenty of parking and it is readily handicap accessible. I would not hesitate recommending Blackstone Valley Eye Care to any of my friends.

The office manager and woman I spoke to is not understanding and will charge you for a missed appointment even when you make sure you call twice. They even made an appointment for MY CHILD and then called and canceled it themselves. Predatory behavior. I’m very disappointed as I recommend this place to so many people. DO BETTER!

Amazing staff!! They have a great selection of frames, even for kids! They are always super helpful, allowing walk-ins for adjustments or dropping off broken frames/lens'. With a 6 and 3 year old both in glasses, we're there pretty often. They always have a smile for us, and remember us by name. My kids are always at ease there. I recommend them to everyone!

Recently I needed glasses and the technition was more then happy to help me pick out the perfect glasses for me. When I went to pick them up, they made sure they felt comfortable and fit just right! Dr.Kenyon and his staff are extremely professional, kind, and punctual. They clearly focus on patient care through state of art technology, up to date procedures, and dedicated time with the patient. I never felt rushed through the exam just to get a new set of frames like other optometrists. When you are ready for frames they offered a range of classic to very fashionable frames with a quick turnaround on prescriptions. If your current optometrist is just going though the motions or their office is just outdated and uncomfortable, you should consider switching to Blackstone Valley Eye Care. Had my first visit this week. The staff was very nice and helpful from the front desk to the doctor to the woman helping me with frames. Nice selection of frames. I didn't have to wait to be seen! At my old eye doctor's even with an appointment booked a year in advance there'd be at least a 30-60 minute wait (there's a reason I don't go there anymore). Plenty of parking.

I went here after the last eye doctor I went to really messed up my prescription. I have a strong prescription and terrible astigmatism and Blackstone got it just right! I can't say enough good things about this place. They're always busy, yet I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. Every eye doctor I've seen for the past 10 years has tried to sell me on a pair of computer glasses for work. This was never mentioned during my first exam and finally having the means to afford them I brought up the subject myself. I got a confused look and the doctor's reaction was 'why would anyone tell you those were needed? Maybe years from now, but not yet'. Like the dentist who told me I don't in fact need an expensive implant, I think I've found a good one here! Also, a note if you have Spectera insurance. Spectera makes lenses themselves. Blackstone's lab makes VASTLY superior lenses, so let Spectera cover your exam and frames, but pay a little extra to have Blackstone's lab make your lenses instead. Your eyes will thank you!
