Worst place ever!!!! I have been going here for a while since I was a child and always had to wait forever to be seen, even if you was on time but recently I notice customer service has been getting worse the most recent incident was I made my children's appointment and they offered 4:30pm and then I get a call 2 days before the appointment they have to reschedule because it's too close to the closing time (5pm). I just don't understand why cancel me when that's what you offered me. Worst place ever!!!!!!

If i could give 0 stars i would!!! Dr was very nice but staff is rude and classless to my girl! They bitched at her and were talking to each other because my old glasses needed adjusting while waiting for new ones! One employee said see what i have to deal to another when she said they were adjusted wrong! Said GO WHERE U BOUGHT THEM!!!

My daughter had the last appointment of the day. Was told that she needed glasses or her eyes would get worse. That's big news considering she had never needed glasses before. Was encouraged to pick out and buy glasses as soon as possible but was also being rushed simultaneously because they wanted to close. The man who was helping me was very rude and sarcastic. So much so that upon leaving, after being rushed during a huge life change, my daughter said " wow that man was very rude mommy" and she's only 11 years old to notice something like that. Regret giving my business to them.

This place is an absolute joke. They promised to get my glasses in within 3 days and it's been over two weeks and they have yet to arrive. They also broke my fathers frames while changing the lenses. Over all this place is a shameful outrage so do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

I have been coming to Baystate Eye for many years. The service is exceptional. Dr. Anzoll, is the kindest person and committed to details. He makes me feel like he listens to what is being told and does all he can to improve the visit and exam.

Don't ever come here. They told my girlfriend she couldn't get her contacts because she had her nails done and they would be responsible if she "scratched her eyes out." It shouldn't matter what you do with them if you're paying $125. We also were in there for an hour and a half which was unnessary. Rude staff.

The staff members, Optometrist and everyone at this facility is great. They are on top of things here from looking for the glasses that fit your description and taste, to ordering and calling you for a pick up and their service is a 5 Star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Year after year they have proven to me and many other clients on their phenomenal service. Just got off the phone with them. I've always used this place for both my glasses AND contact needs. The only problem would be the wait during appointments and I understood that. However, what really annoys me is the fact that they say they don't have my file for my contacts, like the measurements and such. I just find it ridiculous because I could always just call in with no problem and pick my contacts up, but now I have to pay $120 for a new test because apparently they don'd have those records & the first time I got the exam done it was $120 INCLUDING the 6 contact lens for each eye, NOPE just $120 for the exam. Like how? Never had i had a problem with them until now. like how unprofessional do you have to be to lose part of someone's file?

I have been coming here for years. The staff is very polite and profession. The scheduling is convenient. They were even open on Christmas. Even when I had to come in for an emergency appointment due to an eye infection.

My husband lost his glasses yesterday. I called BaY State this morning. They still had his prescription on file. We stopped by an hour later. He picked out new frames and we were waited on right away. (without an appointment) The receptionist was polite and helpful. The gentleman who helped us was very helpful and courteous. His name was Ulysses Gonzales. He made a couple of helpful suggestions. Glasses will be ready the end of the week. We were in and out in about 20 minutes.

Sometimes when I come I get rude service and the lady doctor is probably the nicest person. The male doctor with glasses is very abusive. DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE! I remember how I was treated when I was a teen here about 8 years ago. Hated coming here because of the rude doctor but when I came 2 years ago the lady doctor was a nice surprise. The Wal-Mart vision center is the nicest group of people you've ever met. Love them!!! If you can avoid this place... Try to. I felt very comfortable at the Wal-Mart at lynnway!!!!! Okay well do what you need to do.

Very rude staffs. 3 weeks after my eyes exam i called to ask if my eyeglasses are ready for pick up. The staff rudely told me that I have to call and check in every week. I said isnt their job to notify patient when eyeglasses come in? She said no. Patients have to call and check. Up until now I didn't get my eyeglasses. They are unprofessional and slow.. No smile or welcoming facial expression. Two years later I got a call from them to book an appointment, I said I will never ever go back there. I told the person, I still didn't get my eyeglasses. None of the staff took the time to investigate to see where my order went. NOTHING. Aweful customer service. I would not recommend this place. Go to Walmart or somewhere else.

I had gotten 2 pairs of glasses from Them and both pairs broke within 3 months. They were not mistreated at all either. Very poor quality glasses.

When someone in the office tells you they are open until 6pm on wednesday, why the f@#$ when i show up at 5pm the place is closed with staff in the office and they refuse to open door or acknowledge you are there. Bad business.

Worse place ever. I am surprised they are still open! Unreal! From the minute you walk through the door till the minute you leave is one bad experience after another. Every single team member exceeds the expectations of horrific customer service. I sometimes it can be llokednif the providers are nice and caring but in this office not even the providers are polite. Unbelievable! I am reporting this office to the better business bearer as well as my insurance company. With so many options please don’t end up here. You will regret it. I have to select a start but personally they get deserve 0 stars.

I had a 5 o'clock appointment, they had me in and out. They staff went through my insurance options so I would receive the best value for my money. Would definitely go there again and recommend it to family and friends. My only complaint is how long I had to wait for my glasses to be finished.

I have been going to Bay State Eye for years,and always had excellent service. The women who is the Optometrist is very nice,and does good job. The staff are pleasant,and efficient. I have never seen anyone dressed in dirty attire,everyone is usually neat and clean. I recommend this place for a good eye examine,as well as for glasses.

They system makes me give at least 1 star - they don't deserve it. I've been going to Bay State Eye for a few years now (entire family of 6). After today I will find another eye doctor. I showed up at 12:25 for a 12:30 appointment. I was ignored for the first 10 minutes i was there. At 12:50 i decided I had wasted enough of my time. Not a single patient was in there except me. I asked if the doctor was running behind schedule and i was told "no, your the only appointment". I left without being seen. Obviously this practice doesn't need the business or clients. I'll take me business to a chain establishment. I try to support small business, but this place doesn't want my business.

I've been going for a while as a kid and just recently brought my 7 year old daughter due to migraines we wanted to make sure she didn't need glasses.. the doc was kinda rude but I totally get kids think glasses are cool and pretend they can't see just got get them... so I went to my glass apt week later and I had a great experience being a single mother and not having the best insurance they gave me 20% discount and it helped me out so much!!!
