The staff were all friendly and attentive from the second I walked in. Dr. Brown was welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. He even took time to explain my questions, fixed my eye prescription that was too strong from my last optometrist and suggested different contacts that help my eyes get more oxygen! I love the state of the art office! Estee was very helpful, informative and fun while I chose new glasses. They had a large selection to choose from. It was a wonderful experience! I will recommend it to all of my family and friends!

Symone and Grant saved this 5 Star rating from being a 3 Star rating. My family has been loyal customers of Peepers in Severna Park for a very long time. I recently needed to bring in my glasses because I was having problems adjusting to the lenses I had. During the first two visits I had phenomenal service, as is the standard with Peepers. I received a call that my lenses were ready for pick-up, so I came in tonight at 7pm. They close at 8pm. When I checked in for this visit, Megan who was at the counter informed me that I would have to come back tomorrow as she had put in the last request for the lab and that I would need 2 hours to get my new lenses. I told her I didn't understand because there was no message to come in 2 hours before closing. Symone took my glasses so she could help instead of telling me I would have to come back. I let Megan listen to the voicemail I had that did not mention the 2 hrs she was referring to. She said the person who left that message is not going to be happy with her...implying that that person was going to be in trouble...not cool for business Megan. Turns out my lenses just needed to be popped in... I still had an issue with the new lenses, but Grant came out to help me, going above any beyond, and I really appreciated his help. I say all that to say this...the first person a customer meets at the desk should be just as, if not more welcoming as the staff working the floor. Thank you Grant and Symone for treating me like a valued customer!

We've been using Peepers for family eye care for many years and have never had reason to complain. Service is top-notch, selection is off the charts, and the assistants don't rush you through. Today we also witnessed a show of compassion not common to eye care, as an assistant helped an elderly chap with a cane get up out of his chair in the waiting area, out the store, off the curb and to his car. (We hope he found his keys!) Special shout-out to Gabrielle J who not only helped with intelligent frame selection, but also possessed the knowledge to fully answer our questions.

Excellent experience. My check in assistant, Brandy was great. She was very quick and efficient. Kaitlyn did a great job with my eye exam and was of great assistance in making sure my eye lids stayed open She did a great job training Brandy on the machines. Her assistant Allison was very courteous and friendly minus leaving me hanging on the piece of gum. Although I have only seen Dr Johnson in the past, Dr. Gina was fantastic and very thorough at examining my eyes. She provided excellent feedback. Brittany was great at helping me select a pair of glasses that really met my needs and limited budget. Surprising to me I hadn’t been to Peepers in 5 years. The new location is great and very spacious. If you’re looking for a great eye care facility look no further, highly recommend.

My husband and I visited Peepers of Severna Park a few weeks ago, our experience was great! The office is very open, bright, clean and the staff was very welcoming. Estee was our Optical Technician she made both of us feel very comfortable. She picked out more than a handful of glasses for myself to try on and she helped me narrow down my options to the perfect pair for me. Just went into Peepers (for the first time in their new location) with failing nose pieces on my old glasses. Chelsea M greeted me warmly, listened carefully, took my glasses, and sat me down to wait. In far less than ten minutes she was back with new nose pieces installed, and her work was PERFECT! No adjustment needed at all! And as ever, there was no charge. I can’t imagine going anywhere else, ever.

Best eye exam ever! The wait was minimal, Dr. Helena was amazing and they have a huge selection of glasses and sunglasses. Estee was fantastic! While my eyes were dilating, she went over all my insurance info, helped me pick a plan for the lenses I got and even fixed my current pair so they weren't so crooked. Won't be going anywhere else!

I haven’t had anything less than an excellent experience with this place and I’ve been more times than I can count. Just to give an idea of their level of customer service I’ll detail one instance: it was 7:15pm and my wife had just scratched her cornea. I knew Peepers was open late so I called them. They were supposed to close at 8pm but they told me to bring my wife in ASAP and they’d see what they could do. We got there at 7:30pm and the staff got us to see a doctor immediately. They did all the tests and treated her eye as if they weren’t about to close. We didn’t feel rushed at all and they were friendly and professional the whole time. I’d say their prices are reasonable compared to other places I’ve been. I love that the facility is always very very clean. I wish my insurance covered their glasses as well and the visits because their selection is amazing. They have all brands of high end frames and even sunglasses. The prices are up there but that’s what I’d expect for designer frames.

I went in to peepers today and was not totally pleased maybe a miscommunication between the doctor and the employee that was helping me which happens sometimes.I have been going to peepers for some years now and always had a wonderful experience I always am greeted with friendly employees as I was today as well but unfortunately the miscommunication did upset me a bit.I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call within minutes of getting home from the owner who apologized and was quite sincere .I appreciate him calling me even though I could tell that he was busy with his own family in the background.I think that having a hands on owner that cares enough to take time out of his busy schedule to call customers says a lot about the business and the character of the people who work there and who own and operate it . I will definitely be coming back and I am sure will continue to give a 5 star rating to peepers in severna Park.

From arrival, to vision testing ,to my exam by Dr. Henricksen, to selecting frames with Jessica , I was treated with kindness, respect and professionalism. The equipment was state-of-the-art, the visit was efficiently conducted, my eye health was thoroughly explained to me, and the selection of eyewear was superb. I never felt rushed, and Jessica was very patient in explaining my options for frames, lenses and coatings. She calculated ways of paying for the glasses and showed me what would be most cost-effective. This was the first time I underwent an eye exam there and the third time buying glasses there. A great experience from beginning to end!

My wife and I went to Peepers in Severna Park today to purchase a new pair of glasses. We have been going to Peepers for many years and today I am writing a review. We were assisted by Gabrielle. My wife and I were looking from frames for my glasses and not really having much success. Gabrielle was the optical technician assigned to us and she came over and asked if she could help. She asked our preferences and color then she made some suggestions on size of lenses frames etc..... To our surprise she came back with around 6 frames that meet our criteria. She was very knowledgeable and very customer focus. For instance when she was adjusting and sizing the frames she always said "may I take them please" to remove them from my head. Gabriella even changed my nose guards out of my current glasses when I asked her to adjust them. My wife had her prescription sunglasses and damaged case. My wife asked Gabriella if she had a replacement case available and Gabriella was able to provide that as well at no cost.. Like I stated previously we have been going to Peepers for many years and have always been provided with the best care. We will continue going for many years to come.

This place is very nice, great staff and great doctors. I had an appointment for 5:45 they called me with an earlier availability if I wanted it. My initial tests were administered by Alexis, she was fun and knowledgeable (even kept up with my jokes), very fast and professional. Then my visits with my Dr. are always pleasant (Dr. Frankford). And then with purchasing I feel that they are a tad pricey but they make up for it by not being pushy and completely willing to let you buy glasses/contacts elsewhere. For being a big place with many patients and customers, they still make it personal for you which is nice.

Today was my first visit to Peepers of Severna Park. I was greeted with a smile and told my Insurance info was already confirmed. I was escorted by Aaliyah to an exam room with the latest technology for my testing. Aaliyah took the time to ask me questions and explain the next procedures on the machines. She was friendly and made me feel relaxed during these tests. Next I was escorted to the examination room. Dr. Thomas Brown came in. He reviewed all the tests results and then examined me in a very professional and knowledgeable manner. He quickly diagnosed problem I was having and prescribed a solution. Dr. Brown brought me to the display room and introduced me to Brittany. Brittany was cheerful explaining to me the different types, styles and costs of the many frames. I can't imagine a better experience. All of the staff were extremely kind and easy to talk to. The technician, Rachel, explained the purpose for every test, the different options for getting the information they needed based on what was covered by insurance and what might be comfortable, and generally treated me in a way that made me feel valued. At no point was I pressured to purchase anything I didn't need. This is the only medical office I leave in a better mood than when I arrived.

Technicains Kelley and Kaitlyn were terrific they explained everything and very friendly, Dr Wong was amazing she made us feel very comfortable and was very knowledgeable and explained things to me in laymen terms were you could understand. The Optician Allison went above and beyond, I know I was a very difficult person it took me over an hour to finally pick out a pair of frames which she was very patient and helpful. 1 Star- Dr. Frankford literally left for the day before finishing my exam. The business is literally hustling a bustling and I’m just sitting in the lobby, with my pupils dilated, waiting to be taken back to complete my exam. The staff assumed my exam had been completed and had one of the team not advocated for me, I would have had my pupils dilated for no reason. Another doctor had to finish for her. *** update to 3 Stars- the owner and managing partner contacted me almost immediately and is doing everything possible to make it right. It instills confidence that this snafu is an unlikely and uncommon occurrence, and that patient care comes first. ***. Update to 4 stars- the staff and owner continue to go above and beyond in customer service.

Estee was incredibly helpful during the entire process. I was unsure where to begin picking out frames to compliment my facial structure. Estee confidently said to give her a few minutes and when she returned, she had multiple frames to try on. Peepers Rock!!!! Today, my husband and I went to Peepers of Severna Park to have our yearly eye exam. On our way to Peepers we were cought in a bad accident and my husband missed his appointment time. However, the technician Kaitlin, was very helpful in marking sure we were taken care of and adjusted his appointment time. When we finally made it to the office; our wait time was under 10 minutes. The optometrist, Dr. Hansen, was very thorough when conducting our exams and made sure we understood any information he gave us. Once our exams were finished we were sent to see the optician, Sierra, whom was AWESOME!!!!!!! She was so patient with my 3 year old Son; that has a sensory disorder. Sierra gave my son a little stuffed owl and my son was in heaven. She also helped me find the perfect glasses. So yes, I think Peepers will be my new “eye family”. While it has been awhile since I went in for an eye exam, it hasn't been so long that I wasn't aware of how wonderful this place is compared to its competition. The technology and resources being used make you not only feel special, but confident in the results. Everyone is extremely professional and courteous, "great bedside manner". They prepare you for every step, and it feels so easy. Dr. Frankford "Gina" is as good as it gets. She is truly special! She talks to you in a manner that while you might not understand all the terms, but you understand exactly what she is telling you. She is thorough but isn't trying to overdo anything. Eyes are often overlooked, no pun intended, but she makes sure that everything is okay and that there is a basis to work off of moving forward. I don't often make review, but the entire experience has me feeling the need to so. And it's not like I got only good news while there, but at least I can feel comfortable knowing I am in good hands. There is a reason these guys have the exceptional reviews they do...if you care about your eyes (duh!), just go here and don't think twice about it.

I visited Peepers in SP today after avoiding the eye doctor for 15 years. (Oops) From reception to technician to doctor to choosing frames it was a 10/10 experience. Everyone was so nice, gentle, and explained everything to me along the way. It was lovely, because I am a little grossed out by eyeballs, hence avoiding the doctor for so long. Symone, who helped me choose my frames let me be extra and take my time choosing. Being patient as I was getting people's opinions. She had great taste, I ended up buying the frames she was wearing. I very highly recommend Peepers of SP!

My prescription was expired and on a Saturday afternoon they were able to squeeze me in with Dr. Helena Wang. Not only was she very nice and pleasant, but very professional and thorough with my exam. The young lady who did my pretests, Alexis I believe was her name, was equally nice and professional. I will continue to be a loyal patient and customer and will recommend you to friends and family. One more person I forgot was the office manager who is there every time I come in, available and always keeping an eye on things. I think his name is Sean and he does a great job! As always, my experience at Peepers, Severna Park was stellar. I was greeted immediately upon arrival by the front desk staff, had a very brief wait for my appointment (I was early) and was greeted by Katelyn for the pre-exam. She was wonderful! So much so in fact, I commented to Dr. Frankfurt regarding how wonderful she was as she explained everything occurring during the pre-exam. Dr. Frankfurt is also great. She listened to my concerns about my eyes, gave me a thorough and complete exam and was just delightful and incredibly knowledgable. My next stop was with Kylee to pick out new frames. She listened carefully to my preferences and assisted me in gathering a collection of frames to try on and was kindly honest about which ones looked good and those that didn't suit me. She explained all pricing as soon as I sat down so I knew what I'd be paying in ballpark figures. All in all, an incredible experience as always!

I am unhappy with the process and quality of glasses I received. I brought my script and choose a frame in the store. I put a deposit down and waited to hear from Peepers that my glasses were ready to be picked up. The first time I went to get them the prescription did not feel correct, although I did get progressive lenses which were new for me. I don't know if it was how the lenses were made or the fact that I did not like progressive lenses, but I could not make out objects that were not extremely close or far away. Peepers pressed me to take the glasses home and try them for a week, but I told them that I didn't want to accept a prescription that could have a negative effect on my vision. We agreed that Peepers would make the glasses again without the progressive part. Roughly 2 weeks later I received a call telling me that my glasses were in but there was a large scratch on one lens, so while I could pick them up, they needed to remake the lenses. I did not see a point in getting unusable glasses so I told them to call me when they came in correctly. I received a call about 1.5-2 weeks later saying that the glasses had come in again but the cut on the lenses made it so they did not fit in the frame correctly. I asked to speak to a manager and told them I would like to pursue purchasing glasses somewhere else. They were nice in offering to re-cut the lenses and just give me the glasses and refund my deposit. I told them that was a generous offer but I just wanted a correct set of lenses. I did at the end of the call accept the remake of the lenses, and had my wife get the glasses one day when she was in the area. Last week I received a bill for the difference of the amount. I called and they told me not to worry about it. I do have an issue with the glasses not fitting on my face right. I returned to the store to get them to adjust the frame. It is slightly better, but I am going to need to purchase another pair of glasses. I went into a little more description here then I typically do in a review, because it seems like the owner of this Peepers likes to respond to low reviews to dispute the claims, and attack the character of the poster. Therefore I wanted to make sure this post was as accurate as possible and openly admit that after several failed attempt to get my glasses, I was given the pair for free. Unfortunately it cost me time, frustration, and I do feel that I still need to purchase a pair of glasses.

The new facility is very spacious and clean. The equipment they used to perform tests are brand new. It gives me the sense that I am getting a better test. There are some newer pictures of the eyes that are very interesting and educational. The staff is very nice. Dr. Wang was friendly and gave good instructions since I work with computers many hours. Gabrielle was very helpful - a smart attractive young lady with a bright future. From my observations, the entire staff would fit into Gabrielle's description. I get the impression that Peepers of Severna Park educates their people more than other places. There are a lot of glasses to choose from-everywhere around the room. My only concern would be the cost of some of the frames. This may be just me.

This has been my GO-To for eye wear for several years now. The store is clean. The management stand by their work....important when you are that “complex” client. My favorite part of the visit is working with Estee. Nobody cleans and adjusts your glasses like she does. And she helped me pick out glasses I like more than any other pair! She’s like the friend who always tells you the truth in answer to that question...you know...”how do I look?” I initially went there, in part, because of the location. Their new store is farther away from my house. But that has not kept me away. The new store is beautiful. (Reminds me of the Apple store..lol).

Peepers of Severna Park gave me the best experience I've ever had at an eye doctor and it was a combined effort of the entire staff. From the moment I walked in there were several pretty smiling faces there to greet me and get my new patient information started. The doctor used some new technology that other eye doctors I've visited never used before and slightly changed the power of my prescription. I now see better than before. He also recommend a new brand of contacts which were incredible and significantly reduced my constant dry eyes. When it was time to pick out glasses, Allison and Estee were extremely patient me with since I was indecisive on what frames to go with (It took the opinion of about 4 of the ladies before I went with the Oakley's). Very professional and a great team atmosphere. Peepers will have my business for years to come! The only area for improvement I would suggest is to let the staff have some fun with decorations around seasonal holidays, such a Halloween and Christmas. I like your stuffed owls also...
