My complaint is in hiring ethical standards and training practices, I got hired and i wasn't told what my final pay is gonna be until 2 days later in while working, i was promised about 3 month work and i got no more then 3 days, training was not inadequate , unprofessional and unsupportive,. Three days later i was called at home and told that i was no longer needed ( their claimed that we can not keep up with training) absolute not true, and this is was a shock to hear. Giving their absolute impractical training and bad hiring ethics, new computer systems and the way that do business i believe that NO ONE can be successful in 3 DAYS. I was compliant and willing to be as good as anybody, i said yes to everything because i needed the job, i wasn't there to play, i got laid off and this was a job that i wanted to commit to 100%. I was very serious and the job. The hiring bookkeeper even slammed the door one day on me and didn't even say sorry. I hope that this is clear enough to you so maybe no one can go though what i went through if they know what they are doing to new hires. I felt so sorry for myself. I have to give a minimum of 1-star to post this statement , i wish there is option that i give a negative -900 STARS.):

Paulena in your office is horrible. She sent my claim wrong to my insurance and the mistake was the front desk not telling me anything regarding my insurance before my appointment. Stop threatening me with collections for your incompetence. You don’t know what you talking about.

I worked as an optician for over 30 years and throughout my career I dealt with many of the ophthalmologists in the greater metropolitan DC area, and also with literally thousands of their patients. I look back on all of the eye doctors that I had contact with and a select few stand out in my mind as being especially memorable for their experience, professionalism, and impeccable care given to my clients. Melanie Buttross stands right at the top of that list. Now I am reaching the age when cataract formations are probably inevitable, and though I have moved pretty far away, Dr. Buttross would be my first choice to perform any surgery that I would require.
