It was a great experience. I was seen just a little after my appointment time but once called to the back the service was great. I was seen by the doctor and out of there within an hour. Everyone there is so friendly.

They gave me an appointment for 11:20am on Wednesday and they send me a text explaining that if I miss the appointment I will be fine $35.00 Well I came 15 minutes earlier to be on time for my 11:20am appointments and they call in at 12:05pm that was 45 minutes after my appointment. I lost my other appointment because they where around 1 hour behind schedule with the patients.... That is not acceptable for a business. If they are so busy they should schedule according to it. I was put way behind schedule because I lost around one hour waiting at the reception to be call. They should get it together.

This office has very good physicians that will take the time to discuss in length the issues and answer your questions in detail. The staff are helpful and accommodating.There is a decent wait time, but that should be expected with any large practice that handles a large patient population.

It is always a pleasure to coming here. Every time I come in I am always kindly welcomed and greeted by Ellie. She is always so helpful and not to mention extremely kind. She always has a big smile on her face. Although, couple of days ago my husband gave her a difficult time, she handled it patiently and professionally. Definitely a great working staff member!

Please avoid this business at all cost. If only I had the choice to give no stars. The very second I walked in, I was literally thrown on another employee. The mans'(one who handles the frames. Also never introduced himself)exact words were," yeah she will take you" which prompted her response saying "oh so it's my lucky day" while she laughed with other coworkers. This is beyond rude and at no point did anyone greet me. The staff lacked professionalism and proper customer service skills ;They shouted across the room and laughed at the top of their lungs as if they were at a bar . The reason for my visit was to collect glasses for someone who couldn't make it before closing time. I mentioned the reason for my visit and immediately the guy pushed me off and avoided all eye contact with me. Overall, the 5 minutes that I was there was a horrible experience and I'll advise anyone who would like to try this place to avoid at all cost or face a similar experience.I promise you you'll witness the same unprofessionalism I did.

The receptionists here are the most incompetent unintelligent people I've ever dealt with at any place of business. My first experience with them was in complete annoyance by their lack of education on dealing with health insurance. I decided to give them another chance and to my utter disappointment they failed to complete an appointment schedule properly. I would suggest their employer invest their time in obtaining receptionists who are qualified in communication as well as professionalism.

I have not seen anything unprofessional from these people. Although I had one experience regarding glass prices that was not right which made me feel uncomfortable but after trying few other glasses vendors I realized they actually have some good quality glasses.

This place is a disaster. They were a misery to make appointment. Long wait times. Forget about trying to deal with the hostile staff. I tried to get my medical records to my new eye doc and it took so many phone calls. Ms. C in billing gave me a super hard time. There is just no ownership there. No interest in problem solving.

Horrible experience, I would give no stars if I had the option. After prescribing me expensive eyedrop (although I mentioned please prescribe less expensive brand), they forced me to schedule a follow up visit which they charged me again as much as a full visit without receiving the service of a visit. Also they refused to claim for contact lenses from my insurance and when I claimed it myself, they insurance sent them the check and they did not really follow up with me until I had to go there in person for the 4th time to get reimbursed by them!! Will Never ever set a foot in their office, should have believed bad reviews for them.

Sometimes you find a location that deserves zero stars and it's too bad that isn't an option on this site. I've come to Maryland Eye Care Center a few times now and never left impressed but after my latest trip felt the need to express why I think you business is better done somewhere else. Let's start with the complete lack of organization. There are actually two departments at this location, the eye doctor and the optical section. You would never be able to tell this just by looking though since the departments are not clearly split with no signs showing you which is which. Another frustrating thing is that there's no clear location for the optical center for pickups. You could spent minutes just standing there and no one will help unless you get lucky enough to catch someone's attention and then they'll help. The staff there are nice enough but they are working with what they have and what they have is a bad experience overall.

The nurses and the staff were very nice but the doctor wasn't nice at all and he misdiagnosed me because he didn't really let me explain what was going on from my perspective. I got a medication that made my situation worse. I do not recommend this facility at all. DO NOT GO.

I was there for the past 8 years paying them cash. Today, the doctor was out, the receptionist amd the untrained ill mannered who calls himself a manager have forgotten to take their medicine or were high. They were RUDE, STUPID. Go to hell. You need to be insulted. But for good people like me, things happen for good reason. I got another doctor with well trained staff. He found the problem I had. If you have another relationship, take it another place. Dulls

Took my mother here. Some of the employees here are friendly and some are quite emotionless, however that is not too big of a deal. Regardless, the woman taking pictures of my moms retina and optic nerve was very rude. My mom was having acute angle closure episode and so it was very painful and hard for her to open her eye in order for the tech to take the picture. Instead of being patient, she was very unprofessional, huffing and puffing, and smacking her lips. Her attitude improved a little after I called her out on her rudeness but the whole situation was inappropriate. The only reason I go to this office is for Dr. Marzban as I was a tech at the prior office he used to work at and he is great. As a previous, certified ophthalmic technician, I expect better customer service, and most importantly empathy and understanding for patients as these are characteristics one should possess whilst working in the medical field- which you won't get too much of here.
