The young lady I spoke with on the phone this morning 12/11/18 at around 1145 am, I believe she said her name was Ryan, she was very short and slightly abrasive, hardly gave me anytime to answer the questions that she asked me. It deterred me from making an appointment at the time even though I really need one. The young lady should work on her patience, especially if she is in customer service. I'm really glad this was a phone conversation versus face to face and I was able to just end the call.

Horrible! I paid over $400 for glasses which I have no problem with but we are on week 3 and they still aren’t back! Every time I go over to check they claim they have ordered them rush! Horrible! I should’ve learned from my friends experiences with them!

I called to make an appointment as they were recommended to me by my vision insurance, Advantica. I was told by them that they do accept Advantica but they do not accept my health insurance, Kaiser so they could not accept me as a new patient. Why would they need my health insurance??

Where do I even begin...? I’d give negative stars if possible. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here. I spent 3.5 hours in this office. I was forgotten for at least half of the time I was there. I have an eye disease, which requires being seen by a dr that specializes in this. Usually the actual doctor does my eye exam, and at the end of the visit I am given a prescription, or if a new RX isn’t needed, I’m at least given that info. On my visit to this office, a tech did my “eye exam”. He was not equipped on any level to do an eye exam on someoene with vision as poor as mine. At one point he brought another tech in who was unable to preform the exam, but did tell the tech that sometimes on prescriptions as high as mine you “just can’t get there”. At this point I was put into a hallway with many other people. The woman next to me was literally asleep, and snoring. Finally after over an hour I was brought into the topography room, where the man operating the machine slammed the machine into my face multiple times (he did apologize after I called him out on how to properly operate his equipment, but still...). Then I was put into ANOTHER HALLWAY. I sat here for quite a while until a doctor called me in (not the dr I was there to see). She admitted to me that other charts had been put in front of mine, and that it was a “crazy day”. She looked at my eyes, and then I was asked to wait for the dr I had scheduled with to come in. When he got to my door he inquired why a patient in at the time of my arrival still hadn’t been seen. He saw me briefly, said my eye health looked fine, and that he doesn’t do contact prescriptions, and I’d need to see the office optometrist. (I require a specialist...!!!). He dilated my eyes, I went to the dreaded hallway again... and was called in a bit later by yet a third dr. He looked at my eyes and had me wait yet again for the dr I had scheduled with. So after 3.5 hours, I walked out of this place furious and with no actual prescription or help. I took time off of work to be there. Oh and... while I was in the hallway waiting for my eyes to dilate, I had to listen to all of them talk about how mad they’d be if they were me. Seriously?!! Any level of professionalism anywhere here..??? This is the most mismanaged place I’ve ever been to. Go to Hopkins, or even Walmart, as someone above suggested, I’m sure it’d be a better experience.

I'm not sure how they are in business. The staff members I have interacted with have been unprofessional, haven't returned calls, and often can't even log in to the computer system to access my file. They have consistently made mistakes: overcharged me and sent me the wrong contacts in the mail. My initial appointment wasn't even scheduled correctly. I still have not received a refund for a wrongful charge in April. It's been 5 months. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

After 4 failed attempts to get someone on phone for new appt. I got put on hold for over 18mins for new pt appt. This is crazy. I can't even attempt to proceed with them. Red flag

The staff was awesome they treated me and my daughter like people and not patients. I work in the medical field and I am a consumer relations specialist who takes customers care to heart. I was over pleased with the level of care my daughter received, the day prior to us going we were at Visionworks and they told me my daughter needed corrective glasses. She had been fight what we thought was pink eye for 3 weeks. I decided to get a second opinion and called University they told me to bring her right in the same day. As soon as we walked in the young lady and the nurse at the front desk greeted us with a smile they took one look at my child and said her name. Without a wait they took her right back to check her eye. The doctors were extremely caring and I could see the level of concern for her vision. They listened to all my concerns never making me feel like the overly worried mom. I am switching my entire family and they will be the go to from now on.

Staff is very unprofessional. I have called several times to speak to my doctor regarding my contacts with no call backs. Been trying to get these contacts for 3 months now. Tried billing the wrong insurance after I told them several times which policy to bill. Wendy in their office is a pathological liar....

I been waiting on my contacts going on 2 months from now they keep telling me two weeks to three weeks but it's been much longer if I change to a new location they will have to look at my eyes again I don't feel like waiting another two to three weeks but at this rate I just might have too.

great experience!

The doctor didn't explain any changes in my prescription. I had to ask HIM what kind of contacts he gave me for the trial pair. Offered no help when stating that I couldn't see anything without my contacts in. Find somewhere else to go. Walmart did a much better job.

I went in for a basic eye exam which is 175, had davis vision which covered some of it. The bill should have been 131.27 but they sent two invoices for different services that i have no idea what they are for. i called more than 10 times and no response and now they sent my bill for collection. They will hear from my lawyer if my credit is affected.

The people who work at the glasses center are not helpful. They couldn't care less about helping pick out frames, sizing them correctly, or showing me which ones were in my price range/covered by my insurance. Everyone else was very nice and good at their job.

Learie Sinclair

Excellent staff. Excellent eye exam process with doctor and assistant. No problems.

Diana Scott

Staff is very unprofessional sits behind desk gossiping. Made appointment to get prescription filled only but they made eye exam so had to wait forever to be seen.
