Staff was great. Dr. House was very thorough and had a lot of patience with me. I ask a a lot of questions. Pricing upfront. I don't have insurance and I was very comfortable with the price range of the exam and lenses. Excellent experience.

Everyone I have dealt with at this eye doctor has been helpful. Their prices are competitive. For years I went to an optometrist at a big box discount club and I will never go back after receiving more personal care at Levin. Plus, the location can't be beat - right in the middle of Parkville.

I was looking around for information about this location and saw Justin's review about dilatedd eyes. He is incorrect - you can drive while your eyes are dilated, it is up to personal preference if you want to drive after dilation or not. The problem here is not with the optician but with the policeofficer. "The Optometrist is NOT suppose to dilate a patients' eyes if they are alone and if the patient is alone they MUST wait a certain amount of time before they can do certain things. My wife was not relayed this information thus causing this mishap." This is incorrect.

2-8-2019 my daughter had an appointment with dr.house who is amazing as usual. the experience i had today was horrible with the front desk person who was new she was RUDE , Disrespectful , condescending and very demeaning to me in front of patient. In i quotes you should be happy i gave you an appointment with your insurence. i was very embarrassed and uncomfortable for the remaining time i was there because she was just rude an making smart remarks.

Dr. Levin is an excellent and friendly doctor. A truly outstanding and kind individual. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a eye doctor. Office was clean and no smell when I was there Dashaira was probably smelling her own ass. This place also offers a great selection of designer frames and sunglasses.

Levin Eye Care office and personnel give you the personal and friendly home closeness type of feel; not the feeling of being rushed like some of the other eye offices. The doctors take the time to explain, cause and possible remedies. I love the personal feel of the office. I would recommend this office.

I had been going to the Perry Hall location for many years and I needed some information about my pupillary distance, and was told by one of the optometrists that they were not allowed to give that information out. I called the Parkville location and Megan didn’t hesitate to help me. She was so warm, friendly and very helpful. Your first point of contact leaves a lasting impression. I will be going to that location to have my eyes examined for now on. Also, when I bought eyeglasses two years ago from them, Dave was fantastic to work with. Customer service is their specialty!

We had a bad experience with another eye glass provider and came to Levin Eyecare. From the moment we walked it we were taken care of, treated in a professional manner and all the staff is very knowledgeable about their job. My wife and I both have glasses that are now the right prescription and we both can see much better then the glasses that we had before. We will not be going anywhere but to Levin Eyecare from now on. Thank you for getting us each glasses that are just right.

Very friendly place and convenient for me to get to. Parking is a little tight or you may have to find street parking but other then that I was happy. They even made time for me when a had an issue with my script. I am recommending them to other people I know that live in the area to check out.

Backing everyone up who disagreed with Justin. It is absolutely up to the patient's discretion as to whether or not he or she feels comfortable driving after dilation. There's no timing "rule" with dilation and driving. I was always able to drive immediately after my appointments.

Mr. Levin (the dad) was great, he was so nice and great at explaining my sight as well as the exam process. Even when he said we need to do eye drops, I laughed and told him good luck, he was excellent, snuck them in without a fight, he was a complete professional. The ladies upfront were great as well, the older lady helped my pick out frames which was hard b/c I've never worn glasses or sunglasses due to the shape of my face, I felt nothing ever looked right. I couldn't be happier and would recommend them hands down to anyone I know who needs glasses.

Be careful. I called to schedule a routine eye exam. I left there having to pay $145 deductible instead of just a $10 co pay. Somehow they had me down for seeing an ophthalmologist (I didn't ask for) and used my medical insurance to pay for the cost, which caused me to have to spend more money than I anticipated, for something I didn't ask for and left without the very thing I went in there for....glasses. I was told I can make another appointment to come back and see the optometrist for the routine eye exam and than pay more money.. In what world does this make any sense.

My wife first time to this office the doctor dilated her eyes and although she was by herself the doctor allowed her to drive home without waiting the appropriate 45min to an 2 hours to drive. My wife was pulled over my the police and almost charged with DUI because the officer was under the impression that she was on drugs because of her Dilated eyes. It had been a while since I had an eye examination. I had taken my Lady to. Levin Eye care before. She was very impressed with their service and choice of eyewear. When I went there I thought I'd be needing glasses. I dreaded hearing of some eye condition. I was quite relieved to find my eyes were ok. I don't have any signs of glaucoma. I need glasses only for reading.

The Doctor was very nice and a pleasure to deal with. The lady selling the glasses was very pleasant also. But the receptionist needs some customer service training. I didn't buy glasses that day, had my exam and was waiting to see the doctor after dilation when the two ladies at the desk told me it would be an extra $50 for a "contact lens exam" . Really?? I think it was because I was going to order my lenses online and needed them to write out a prescription, because nothing special was done in my case, My husband was there recently and he was not charged the $50 (he doesn't wear contacts). I paid my $110 for the exam, but I will never go back.
