My wife has been going to Dr. Gross for several years and thinks she is the best. My wife's mother had a number of health issues that caused her to be totally blind, so my wife is very careful about her eyesight. She believes, as do I, that Dr. Gross is thorough and knowledgeable. I am lucky that, even in my late 60s, I don't need glasses, except reading glasses you can buy over the counter, but I go to Dr. Gross every two years just to make sure everything is ok. My wife goes to her annually. To say we trust her is an understatement. About a year and a half ago, we moved to Chambersburg, PA, but we still go back to Frederick to see Dr. Gross!

I had another eye doctor who I wasn't happy with, and a friend recommended Holly Gross very highly--her husband was a patient. So, I switched and have been so happy. Even the office is run so well. My other doctor's receptionist made my appointments for the wrong years or months, and I'd show up and not have an appointment. That doesn't happen at this office. I love going to the office. I mean it isn't like I love the tests, but I do love my doctor. I feel like I am in the best hands. I referred my husband, and he gets great care there, too. I don't always have to wait more than a few minutes. Sometimes I get called right away. And if there is a wait, there is always plenty to read in the magazine rack.

Central Eye Associates in Frederick, Md office has very nice, caring & professional employees. Dr. Pham is an excellent eye doctor in that she cares a lot about her patients health. She is open to answering any questions her patients have. Dr.Pham makes sure that all of her patients numbers are accurate after a patient’s eyes have been measured prior to cataract surgery. Debbie is in charge of Pre Op eye measurements and is very polite, professional, caring and is also open to answering questions patients have. The office is wheelchair accessible. The office is kept well cleaned and well organized. The waiting room is comfortable, clean, tidy and has nice decor.

Recommend finding another practice. I'm surprised at the recent positive reviews. I had a good experience at the Central Maryland Eye Rockville location ~4 years ago. More recently, visited twice in 2018 & didn't receive good care. This may be the result of overbooking. I found the physicians to be extremely rushed & the care poor -- on one visit, the Dr. said she'd normally do x test, but would skip it today given the # of patients waiting. Rockville office staff unpleasant. I moved on to a different ophthalmologist, Natasha Herz, also in Rockville, had a single normal, non-hair-on-fire appointment and was given a treatment recommendation that worked.

I was very impressed with Dr. Gross during my initial consultation. She described the cataract surgical procedure and the options available for replacement lenses. The procedure was surprisingly simple, not only because of Dr. Gross' expertise, but also because the surgical facility was first-rate. The staff there were professional, caring and attentive and the anesthesia was pleasant with no negative after effects. I was totally comfortable during the procedure and in the days afterwards. The first experience with my right eye was so positive, I had the left eye done soon afterward. I am amazed at how simple this operation has become and the enormous benefit it has had on my quality of life. Dr. Gross is terrific and I recommend her without reservation.
