I have always had a wonderful experience with the Doctor except for the woman named Debbie. She was very rude and insulting. This happened not once but many times in person and most especially on the phone. I think she should not be at the front desk and answering the phone because it just ruins the good experience. I was holding back to post this review as I want to give her a chance but I had enough. It would have been a wonderful experience if I did not have to deal with her.

On April 10, 2018, at the Catonsville Eye Group, my brother and I were racially profiled. It was around noon, and we were on our way to see our sick grandmother. We came across a banner outside of the store promoting a Ray Ban Trunk Sale on Saturday April 14th. We later visited the store, and I asked the front desk woman about more info regarding the event. She informed us about the event, then introduced us to the Ray Ban Section of the store. We spent about 15 minutes in there, viewing the selection of glasses, planning to come back in a few days and make a purchase. A few days later, the Baltimore County Police visited my parents home saying two individuals were there, casing the store to be robbed. Then, they paid a visit to my brother's job (who wasn't even with us that day!), and suspected him of casing the store. His job could have been jeopardized because of this! He was confused & embarrassed. So, we looked like we didn’t belong there and we were "up to no good" just because of the color of our skin? I would NEVER recommend this place.

Was not able to have glasses fit with lenses properly. At this point I have new glasses with new lenses that don't fit the frames correctly. They were cut incorrectly. To add insult to injury, they offered additional tests services which were supposed to be beneficial that seemed to serve no other purpose than line their own pockets. And these tests were not covered by insurance, nor were we notified this would or could be the case in advance.

As others have mentioned in their reviews, this place provides great customer service and treats their patients respectfully. However, they don't make it clear for contact lenses exam that if you have developed astigmatism since your last eye exam, you will be considered "new set" and be charged significantly more. I took my old prescription to them and one of the ladies on the counter told me it would be $45 dollar (with insurance) because I am considered "reset", however after the exam they charged me $102 dollar (with insurance) because I have developed astigmatism and it is considered "new set". They should inform patients about his beforehand or hold off giving a quote until eye exam is done. Just wanted to make everyone aware of it since they don't. Other than this issue, my experience was great! Edit: Changing my review to 5 star because they refunded me the difference.

Called yesterday to make an appt. I guess someone needed some harmone pills I couldn't get past the FREAKIN INSURANCE..MY GOD WTH.....Im a long TERM govt employee and Ive been in this office BEFORE...SO WHY NOT MAKE THE APPT and call and get the info??? HELL VSP is SSN anyway- Davidson is the sub, BUT back to the call, more concerned about getting paid then the patient......WELL obviously I won't be coming back here.......Oh and that also includes my fiance she won't be either so you have LOST OUT..............

Incredible customer service. They are super nice, friendly and very knowledgeable. I never had to wait any time I’ve stopped in. They spent a lot of time helping me select the right frame for my face, worked with me when my insurance provided incorrrect lenses and made it right without any issue.

The staff at Catonsville Eye Group are very welcoming and seem to enjoy what they do. After walking in, I was greeted immediately and seen right away. Dr. Feldmann is very professional and courteous and I felt very comfortable during my exam. It moved really fast, but I never felt rushed. I think the highlight for my visit was that I'd booked my wife for the appointment time following mine. She was running behind and the staff greeted her with cheers once she finally arrived. They weren't upset at the tardiness and treated her with the same great customer service. Great practice with great people.

I know this place for a long time and I have no doubt about the quality of products but recently I had a very unpleasant and unfortunate incident which left a bad taste. The optician assigned was not courteous and was not comfortable answering questions and was getting irritated. I am one hundred percent sure that all my questions were valid and relevant. I get a feeling that the business do not appreciate an aware and informed customer. One staff and this optician was trying to label me in order to hide their behavior. I got the impression that it is all about money because I was not clearly explained about my costs and options. They offered only the most expensive option without telling me that cheaper options are also available. One can expect courteous and fair treatment at a place of business. I must emphasize here that proper training in dealing with customers from various backgrounds and ethnicities can be very helpful and these kind of unpleasant and unforgiving situations can be easily avoided. There is no knowledge of rocket science is required for quality customer service and treating every customer with respect irrespective of their background or the knowledge about the product. We walked out of there without conducting the business because the situation was unacceptable and we felt humiliated. I hope the owners can take a note of this so these kind of situations are avoided in the future because I know the owners, they are professionals and good people. Best of luck.

I have been a customer of Catonsville Eye Group for years. I always see Dr. Feldman. The staff is very friendly, courteous and greets you when you arrive. They make you feel like you are the only customer and I appreciate that. When there was a slight delay in seeing the doctor the staff and doctor Feldman apologized for the wait, which was not more than about 10 minutes.

From the word "go" the staff was exceedingly friendly and professional. When I called to make my initial appointment, we tried to verify my insurance and were having some difficulty. The young lady in the office who took the call stayed on the phone and checked multiple options to verify that they did in fact take my insurance (which for some odd reason was under a different name). Upon arrival, I was whisked to the back by the very personable doctor. He explained what he was doing and why (something I truly liked) and never made me felt like he was rushing through my visit to get to the next person waiting. I felt valued and respected, which is sometimes rare with doctors today. The office is cozy and clean and not "commercial" which you sometimes get with the larger chain vision centers. They have a nice selection of frames from functional to name brand. All in all it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend this location to anyone.
