I really appreciate the Cindy's honesty when selecting frames. I have worked with her on a few pair and she isn't afraid to be honest. The wonderful thing about having long standing employees, besides the familiar smile, is the relationship and trust that has been established. I know she will not hesitate to say a pair of frames don't work for me and work with me till we find the perfect pair of frames. I can also say the same for Deb. I've known her many years and have also been very satisfied with her honest style and understanding. It just so happens that I have worked more with Cindy recently. I have referred many people to Optimetric Associates and will continue to do so. There is no better place for eye exams and the selection of frames.

If i i cou give a zero i would. I tried to call and ask if my daughter was seen by them last year and they said they didn't have her name. I asked if there were more specialist around Lewiston and the lady i i w talking to got all rude and acted like i was a bother to her.

They are more interested in making sure you have what you need and know where to find them when you want or need changes. I have been going to this office ever since I was a child. They have always been professional and thorough. They are so friendly and I can't ever remember a time when they weren't just so helpful. When I was deployed to Iraq, they were very accommodating when I needed supplies. They mailed them out promptly to me in Iraq with no hesitation what so ever. I wear both contacts and glasses. The glasses department is top notch as well. They took the time to help me find the frames that worked for me. They have an amazing selection to choose from as well. Recently, Dr. Henry, who is so thorough, found a problem with my retinas. He referred me out immediately and in two days time, I had my first retina repaired. I am so grateful for the care that I have received here over the years and I can't say enough good things about the staff or Dr. Henry. Thank you

Most recently, I was stricken with iritis, which is very painful. They saw me twice in two days, both times unannounced and without an appointment. Constant billing issues, they will not use vision insurance just because you're diabetic or if you have any other health issues. My vision ins VSP covers it and they're supposed to be a preferred provider however they refuse use the vision ins.

The front desk staff, Dr Henry, the doctor's assistants, and the frame staff were all just top notch. Every single person was friendly, and not just in a typical, simple way. They asked questions and genuinely had fun with you. The exams seemed to be very thorough. They listened to my questions, and answered so I could understand. Dr Henry explained causes and optional treatments for my 'dry eye'. We discussed my bifocals, and when I should just take my glasses off. The choice of frames seemed fine. I found what I liked for a reasonable price. Overall, I was quite pleased with the service I received and recommend them highly.

I have gone to Dr Beale for more than 20 years. She's great. However, watch yourself with Tammy. She will blatantly lie to you. If you are disabled and have to rely on Mainecare don't go here. I tried to schedule an appointment. Had an opening for April but was told I can't go until June because I have to rely on Mainecare, even though it's been 4 years (Mainecare only pays every 3yrs). So I can't drive or see clearly until June because I'm poor and disabled. Great place if you fit their clique.

Cannot recommend Dr Henry enough. I’ll never go anywhere else. He fixed a bad prescription for me, was personable-but concerned for excellence and accuracy, and took great care getting my eye health right. Highly recommend. Office staff are also wonderful - played with my daughter and fixed her broken crayon during momma’s appointment, gave her coloring books, and helped her pick out treasure chest items even though she wasn’t a patient. They’ve won us over!
