I saw Dr Parnes at Eyecare recently. I found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr parnes explained to me what was happening with my vision in a way that I could understand and what my treatment options are. I was there about two hours which was a long time, but lots of testing was done and the care was wonderful.

First class facility. I have been going here for several years as a glaucoma suspect patient and for annual eye exams. Last winter I decided to have laser corrective surgery. Dr. Sise and his staff recommended PRK over Lasik due to an underlying condition in my eyes that may not affect me for many years. They gave very detailed information about what to expect during and after surgery and what the recovery process would be like. They took excellent care of me through the entire process. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

This practice refused to give me a copy of my medical records when I asked them for it. The woman I spoke to first said they did not have them and then corrected herself and said that they did, but it was their policy not to provide them. Horrible, rude customer service has been my experience here. I will avoid this practice in the future.

I have been visiting Dr Samuel Solish here and I've found the staff attentive, the waiting times were short, and the treatment was first rate. The examinations were thorough and the explanations were easy to understand, and they never hurried me. And as an added bonus, it's near the Portland Transportation Center, so I can travel most of the way via a bus.

I called here today for an appointment because they are the only eye doctors in my network and I believe I need some glasses. The woman who picked up the phone, Jennifer, seemed super annoyed with my call, interrupted me, talked really fast, and was not helpful at all. She seemed as though my two minute call was a huge inconvenience to her day and I was told that they do not do regular eye exams though it says they do on their website. I will never go here in the future due to the unprofessionalism on the phone. I'd rather my call not be taken than being talked over and rushed like I was.
