This place is nothing but a hustle from the time I got there the sales upgrades began. It’s all about the money I feel. They charged me $185 for the exam and $ 270 for some plain discontinued frames. They claim that was 35percent discount a pure joke never will return or recommend!

Shanise is very rude and she doesn’t like people of color. The prices are extremely high and like to over charge people. I hate this place an wouldn’t recommend them to NOBODY. They aren’t PROFESSIONAL AND I NEED ALL OF THE WORKERS TO HAVE A BACKGROUND CHECK

Okay so my first visit to this hell hole was horrible!!!! Shanice the front desk person is very rude and unprofessional...she called the police on me bc i was 20 mins late to the appointment and asked to see the office manager or the doctor.. She refused me and my son services...i asked her if she is prejudice???? She is the worst person i ever came in contact with...the police came and she allowed me to keep the appointment after all the unnecessary rudeness!!! And i still dont know who the doctor is there..she didnt introduce herself nor did she include me in my 17 year old minor sons visit...tht place sucks and all the staff are stuck up...RUDE place!!!!

Dr. Pastilong and her staff are the greatest. The staff is friendly, professional, and efficient and works hard to make everyone's experience great. I wish I could use them continually but they are not one of my approved providers and I cannot afford to pay out of pocket. However, if they are an approved provider in your plan, by all means use Bossier Family Eye Care. You won't be disappointed.

I have been to quite a few optometrists. I took my 4 yr old daughter in to see Dr. Pastilong for the first time yesterday. She and the whole staff were wonderful. Dr. Pastilong was thorough and completely informative of what her diagnosis is and what to expect. She’s positive and it made me confident knowing she cares and is going to make sure my daughter gets the best treatment as soon as possible to correct her vision. She was also great and friendly with my 4 year old. It made my 4 year old feel comfortable and trusting. I would recommend this office to anyone.

I have limited vision in one eye since birth. I always used an ophthalmologist for annual check ups thinking it was the best way to take care of my one good eye. Last year I started my checkups at Bossier Family Eye Care. I was impressed with the quality and quantity of modern technology used. It was more comprehensive and more up to date than all previous doctors. I needed new glasses last year which I also purchased there. For the first time I added the process for screening blue light in the lenses. I can now look at any electronic screens for hours, if necessary, without the usual eye fatigue. I just completed this years annual visit and no new glasses were necessary which tells me what we did last year was successful. I continue to be impressed with the quality of exam and customer service. This year we found a change in the bad eye so I now feel both the good and bad eye are receiving excellent care. As someone who has spent an entire life time trying to take extra care of the eyesight I have, I recommend you visit Dr. Pastilong and staff.

Terrible!! This doctor is the absolute worst one that I have ever been to. I have had contacts since I was in middle school and she continued to talk to me as if I was dumb and kept telling me that I was doing everything wrong (in a very rude tone) even though every other doctor has told me to do it that way. When she saw that I was getting offended she proceeded to say "you came to me." I came to her under the impression that she would act like a medical professional and if I didn't have to pay her for my contact consultation I would've left. Absolutely awful and I will never be back. The only reason she deserves one star is because her staff is very friendly. If it was possible to give her alone negative stars I would. Don't waste your time or money!!

Terrible! Do not go here, the doctors here are VERY rude! My experience was terrible and I will definitely be filing a complaint. And the receptionist was terrible, she must hate her job too.
