I met Dr.Adams in April 2013 to get an exam.and buy glasses upon my exam.he noticed something strange in my left eye which lead me to Lsu eye clinic where I was diagnosed with lung cancer, Dr.Adams is my hero he saved my life by being caring and taking the time to go the extra mile. Me and my family will ever be eternally grateful to him and his staff,very friendly.Thank You Adams Eye Care

I would give 0 stars if I could. I cannot stand the rude women who work for this doctor. They are unbelievably unkind and made me feel stupid for trying to get a prescription. My insurance is through the military which means we cannot see the eye doctor for two years. They do not tell you during your appointment that your prescription expires in one year so if an emergency happens and ou need a simple prescription they simply do not care and will not release your needed documents to get your emergency eyewear. Rachel at the front desk and the jerk of woman that took over the phone from her made it seem like they absolutely did not care about what I was going through even when I tried to explain the situation. ADAMS EYE CARE WILL NEVER RECEIVE MY BUSINESS UNTIL THEY CAN FIND RECEPTION THATS WORTH MY TIME AND MONEY. KINDNESS IS NOT A HARD SKILL TO MASTER LADIES

Poor customer service from the jump. Constant attitudes. Mistaking you for other clients, an entire unprofessional wall dedicated to the Twilight film series. Tri care referred us here, DO NOT go. They charge an extra $20 fee to measure PD unless you pay for their 200% markup on glasses. I called to inquire why this was an extra price and the woman said "I mean we'll TAKE your money and it's only a 30 second procedure for your PD measurement but its $20 since you won't buy your glasses here" AVOID ADAMS EYECARE AT ALL COSTS. Scammers. Liars. Unprofessional. Rude. 0/5.

They were so nice to my son, he was not easy to get him to do the eye exam but they had so much patience with him even when I ran out...lol We took our daughter there and she was a bit easier than our son but we still had a great experience with them. They took time to talk to our kids make them feel more comfortable and I thought that was really awesome plus it's really important to build up that trust. They are awesome!!!!

My reviews tend to lean toward the critical side, so take that into account. My entire experience has been just ok. The first appointment I made - 3 years ago, they forgot I was there. Hasn't happened since, so I think they just got really busy. They have my name misspelled. They are always busy, but relatively friendly. Glasses are expensive, especially compared to some of the online options, but you get a personal touch that you won't get shopping online.
