I had a 3:30 appointment for my son and got to see the doctor at 5:40. UK should be ashamed to have their name associated with a place that is run so poorly! It was beyond ridiculous. My wife was told that they run behind daily. Running a clinic in that manner is completely unacceptable.

Do not go here unless you have all day long to wait to see someone. They over book and miss manage everything it seems. I had a 9:45 appt and got there at 9:00. I was still waiting at 10:10 and people who didn’t show up until 9:50 started being seen before me. I asked them why and they said the doctor to see my son was moving way slower than the other doctors. Why not take patients as they arrive? I was there a hour before. My doctor was L.M.Sanders. Do Not go to that person if you go for a pediatric eye exam. She is the slowest one out of all 5. I still have to pay this parking ticket and didn’t get to see the doc because I would be late for work which is why I was extra early.

So unorganized I called and made an appointment and was told it would be at the Shriners office I get here and I’m told they made the appointment for Nicholasville. THREE other people that came in before or after me hadn’t appointments made that were either “not in the system” or made for the wrong dates Adele. One nurse out of the 3 I dealt with was nice and not completely rude. The rest were terrible. Even when they weren’t messing up our appointments and we arrive 20 minutes early for an appointment we end up waiting atleast 2 hours never less in the 5 times or so we’ve been here. All around terrible experience here and will be looking to take my children elsewhere.

I saw Dr Capoor. She was nice and seemed very knowledgeable. My complaint is I was told to be there 15-20 minutes prior to my appointment to do paperwork. I was there about 30 minutes early. Then my appointment came and passed. After sitting there waiting for an hour and half, one hour past my appointment, I was called back. In total I sat back there in total 45 minutes alone. It took about 15 minutes total for the exam and for my file to be updated. So I was there a total of 2 1/2 hours for a 15 minute exam.

Excellent care. Wait times can be long, however the care and compassion for my mother definitely out weigh that.

Dr Conklin has performed surgery on both my wife and myself. He is an excellent, straight forward doctor. His wait time for his visits can be long, that is because he is all about the patient, and the quality of trusted care is well worth the wait times!
