Several issues, but basically the service was less than stellar. We waited a month to get contacts, they said would take a week. Then we waited 2 months for the glasses to be delivered, only to find out they were at the store for a month but nobody knew. Nice people, just marginally competent.

Wonderful staff and superior service. Doc has been taking care of my families eyes for years. The office is pretty swank and having a Starbucks coffee machine is a great idea in my book. PEC uses state of the art equipment and tests which found my wife had cataracts early on and referred us to an eyecare group who was able to resolve it. I have not even touched on the variety or frames.

Love this place! The staff was amazing and Dr.Lee was the best eye doctor I have ever seen. She didn't rush and listened to everything I had to say! Love her. Not five stars because I think they should go over insurance with people and what they will or won't cover beforehand! That was partially my fault but I didn't realize my insurance didn't cover contact fitting if seen by a civilian doctor and that a certain test on my eye was an out of pocket charge but even then it was worth it. Recommended.

Been with Dr. Blair for 10+ years. Never had an issue until now. Ordered a year worth of contact lenses and can't see through the right eye. Asked if I can switch them out to previous brand that worked. Was told that I can't until I get a new eye exam, which isn't due. I'm without contacts until then. The 6 months supply cannot be replaced. Will be going to a different OD.

Dr Blair performed a miracle. My wife who has Traumatic Brain Injury had been losing her vision but yet passing eye tests. Finally, UC ENT Dept Adele Rauen directed us to Dr Blair. The vision issue was diagnosed as Binocular Vision Disorder and requires a fairly new solution - Dr Blair was the 4th Optometrist to deliver the breakthrough treatment. She could see and read and had improvement in other neuro issues. Since then my wife suffered another severe concussion which impacted her prescription for BVD. I absolutely ADORE this office. Technology is A+. Environment is outstanding. One major issue that I feel office management should be aware for future problems is the lady who helped me with buying frames took my credit card and played on keyboard while staring at the numbers before placing in chip reader...so obvious. I called my card company to add precaution to card scamming. Please be more professional about this so we leave feeling safe and not scammed.

The office is clean, and they are very quick, and even the staff seems to be friendly... BUT Dr. Blair himself is in an out and doesn't seem to care... he shoved some brand of contacts on me I didn't want and after 6 different prescriptions we were able to compromise and I just said good enough.... well I took my sons to get their eyes check, my youngest loved them, but my oldest who wears glasses, was indecisive and the staff seemed to have an issue with him taking his time to pick out what he wanted out of what my insurance would pay for. Those glasses broke within 3 months, so I paid out of pocket for another pair, which have made it until his last exam, but he has still been wearing them as I was not with him when he went with his grandmother to pick up his new glasses, they are crooked and my mother said something to the staff member and she said, no they are fine... when I saw them, well lets just say I work 8-6 M-F and this was about 2 months ago and have not been able to take him up to get them correctly adjusted. NOW my glasses, I was sitting here tonight watching TV, turned my head and heard the frames creak, well, when I took them off my face to inspect them, they snapped!!! And these are only 2 months old.... FORGET THIS PLACE THEY DON"T CARE!!!!!!!!! They will see me in office tomorrow on my lunch break to rip them a new one and give me better glasses! And then I will NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN! I have received better service at the Walmart eye doctor!! He is just not in my network

May 2nd - July 23rd I went to this eye care professional based on the online reviews. The Good Staff and Eye Care Doctor are friendly. The eye exam was done in a timely manner. The Bad Expensive - In comparison to my previous eye care professional, using my insurance deductible, with my previous eye care professional, I did not end up with any OOP costs. With Primary Eye Care, they wanted to charge me an addition $250 on top of the deductible. I ended up getting a down grade to the lenses to pay and OOP cost of $100. This did not include my frames which I purchased on my own. Experience - I called in advance to see if I could take my existing glasses and have a prescription added to them. They stated they could do this. However, when I went through the exam and showed them the existing glasses they stated they would have to be new. I ended up having to purchase a separate set of glasses which took two weeks to obtain. Workmanship - After obtaining my glasses the first time, waiting 4 weeks, the lenses were not properly set. I then waited a week before going back. I had to wait an additional 4 weeks before I got my glasses back again. They are still not set right. Based on what I told they outsource this work. If this is the case, they need a new vendor. Commissions - The staff obviously work on commissions since they try to sell me a pair of sunglasses which I had no desire to obtain. Also during my eye exam, they offer an option, for an additional $40, in order to prevent dilation, that is not necessary. Time - As you can see from the dates above, the entire time it took to get the glasses inserted into the frames in both time, it took over 4 weeks in each case. I had to have them done twice since they were not set the first time. Also if you expect them to call you back, good luck with that. You have to check with them on your own. The Ugly Service - There was a point where I could tell they no longer wanted to deal with me. All they were interested in was getting rid of me. Poor Result - I am out $250 dollars and I have glasses that have lenses that are not set right. I do not wish to go back and wait any further. Needless to say, I have been disappointed by the entire experience and will not be going back to Primary Eye Care in Burlington, KY. I do not recommend them.

I used to go somewhere else and I didn’t realize how terrible of service and care I had been receiving until I came to Primary Eye Care! The exam was very comprehensive, nothing like I experienced at former places. The staff were all very friendly and very professional. Their technology is top notch and other places lack such technology. I feel so much better knowing that with their comprehensive exams and high technology, I will have all the information I need about my eye health. My husband and I both go to to Dr.Blair and have since we first found him at the Aurora,IN Walmart. Have always found him and his staff friendly and knowledgeable. We both have diabetes and he checks for any changes from the diabetes in our eyes. The glasses we have purchased have been good quality and if there is any problems, they do whatever it takes to resolve them. I would recommend them to anyone who is needing a thorough eye exam.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. The only reason I'm giving it one star is because of the person who ended up helping us at the end. When I arrived there was only one other customer there. Lady at the desk told us to choose a pair of glasses for my child and someone would be right with me. Waited for about 5minutes for the lady to finish up with her customer. Once the employee finished with customer she then continued to talk to same customer knowing I was waiting for about 15 minutes. Finally another employee came out of the back and helped me and my child. She was very nice and courteous. Definitely wont be back.

I visited Primary Eye Care for the first time today. I was very impressed with the staff. The technicians were very friendly, and explained what tests they were doing, and why. I was seen by Dr. Lee. She was extremely knowledgeable, and superbly helpful with answering all of my questions. My last stop was with Olivia, and she helped me pick out a pair of frames that I really like. After going to some less than stellar optometrists, it was a breath of fresh air to have someone that acknowledged my concerns, and addressed them. I and my family have been in NKY for 12 years and going to Dr Blair for most of that time . . . Never Again!! I showed up for an appt and they would not see me due to not having my Med Ins Card with me. I went back home to get it since I have something wrong with my eye and it is obvious I'm in pain. Upon returning, they inform me it will be a 40 minute wait to be seen. Other patients were being taken back, while I stood and waited to then be told I would wait longer to be seen. This Practice does not care about it's patients. Very poorly handled since they could see that my entire family has been going there for years. going elsewhere going forward.

Terrible follow up with patients. Difficult to get an appointment. Extremely difficult to get quick turn around on glasses or repairs. Very long delays with repeated people not being helpful and having to reexplain everything to each person every time I got someone on the phone. It took 3 months to get glasses and the lenses were loose in the frame. My eye issues were a medical problem and I was very ill when I had to travel to see Dr. Blair. I was traveling two hours to see Dr. Blair as he was a specialist. He was dismissive and rushed at all times. He needs to thoroughly work on his bedside manner.

Being new to the area I needed a recommendation for an eye doctor. My stylist suggested Dr. Blair at Primary Eye Care Associates. I couldn't be more pleased with his recommendation. The office is clean and comfortable. The assistants and receptionist are so very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Blair is very thorough and available to answer any questions you may have. My glasses needed to be adjusted and they took care of this with a smile. My lenses became scratched before they were a year old and they were replaced with no cost to me. The assistant helped me find the best pair of glasses for my face and was willing to take as much time as possible. My only suggestion would be that since I really can't see without my glasses on, it is difficult to select a pair of frames that I like the way they look, so perhaps a magnified mirror to look in would help so that I could actually clearly see the new frames I am trying to purchase.

Overall a good experience however even though it was gloomy cloudy rainy day, it’s best if staff serving customers don’t open mouth yawn multiple times in front of customers. Also serving customers while chewing gum is not a very good idea. Otherwise pleasant atmosphere. I also appreciated the technology and obvious knowledge that the entire staff has. My experience at this office has just been okay. I have vision insurance that covers an exam and prescription eyewear but the cost of an exam has never been given to me up front. Because of this, I've been billed incorrectly a number of times. Most recently, I was told that my insurance covered the cost of having a contact fitting, only to be billed for it later. Additionally, the doctor here always feels rushed, and he spends no more than 5 minutes with you. I'll be going somewhere else from now on because the staff has been unresponsive to any issues I've had.
