We have all the opinions of people who buy the services and products of LensCrafters (Ophthalmologist) in Kentucky.
To this day the firm has a rating of 3.4 over 5 and that rating has been calculated on 25 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is average, neither too high nor too low, and it is founded on a very large number of reviews, so we may conclude that the assessment is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they are pleased with the service, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to give opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Ophthalmologist corresponds to the category of Eye care center.
Very friendly staff that assisted my son with his 1st pair of glasses. I highly recommend this location.
Worst service ever. Won't be back if I have other options.
Customer service is very rude and sales associates contradict one another. I wish I never went here.
Absolutely, the worse place ever to go to buy frames and lenses, I'll never spend my money or give them any if my time, I see why there ratings are so bad, Never in my life...you know I never write or do reviews,, but I do read them, and this is one time I am writing one that's just how bad it was
I’ve never had a bad experience here. I came in 2017 when my glasses broke and no where else was open. They popped them in a frame and made me an appointment with the doctor next door. Upon my appointment I was overwhelmed picking out glasses. The staff were patient, kind, and helped me find the perfect frame. They have always been more than willing to work with me even when insurance was being stupid. They’ve always helped me stay within my budget, find glasses I love, and have been patient, kind, and take as much time with me as needed. I will never go to another place ❤️
These eye glass stores are nothing but a scam, no matter where you go. They REFUSE to give you your prescription and dance around it to the point where it's laughable. I have called several times to try and get my eye glass specs so I can buy online (save hundreds) and they WILL NOT give it to me. I purchased my last pair of glasses here and they still will not give me the information I need. Bitchy women answer the phone as well who keep your info as if there job is on the line? Save your money and peace of mind, order online so we can put these scam companies out of business.
I should have read reviews before spending $$$$ there. Great customer service when they're taking your money and up selling you, then its non-existent when you need help. Had to wait forever to pickup glasses that were prepaid ($300+). The lens were wrong and they tried telling me they were correct - no dice, I've been around the block and know my eyes better than you. Bottom line, HORRIBLE customer service, high pressure add-ons but then don't see the product on the lens itself - nice. Advice regarding LensCrafters... DO NOT be suckered by the location, thinking it must be high quality/classy/professional simply because its at Lexington Green. There are other lens companies in town, don't make the mistake I did. AVOID LensCrafters.
Mark the manager is amazing at his job, very friendly and makes coming here a terrific experience. The rest of the staff is very friendly and helpful as well! Would highly recommend coming to the Lexington green lens crafters for any of your eye wear needs!
Waited for 20 minutes for a glasses adjustment. Other employee was doing inventory and making reminder phone calls to remind people their glasses had come in. I finally said I needed to leave as I had a meeting across town and the response was “okay”. I’ve used this store quite a bit in the past and this was so very disappointing.
Excellent people to advise you on style and prices. Honest, lots of coupons and deals, excellent response to any problem, quick service.
I was having quite a bit of difficulty getting a new prescription nailed down - and as a result ended up making more then a few visits back. Each time I met with a different associate, each of which was amicable and competent. The last person I talked to was Denise - & she was particularly efficacious in working things out. Very measured and considerate.
Excellent experience overall! First time coming in. I had a 10:30 Friday Appt and arrived 10 minutes early. Greeted politely and was walking back by 10:31am. My tech was very nice and personable as was my doctor. I saw DrGlen she was very nice and made the experience knowledgeable. The frames side was as well an excellent experience. I told them I would be writing my review as soon as I left. Excellent customer service from both ladies. Paid $30 bucks for excellent Raybans frames after my ins. I didn’t feel rushed or bullied into anything extra but they kindly provided me pricing information for all aspects. And my glasses will be ready in an hour. Great experience!
Every time I go into this lens crafters it's a headache and makes me want to smash my head against the nearest wall. First off, there could be a million employees in there working and you still wait a minimum of 30 mins if you are lucky. Second, they have the worse customer service I have ever seen. They are rude and pushy and hate dealing with warranty or issues with frames you already have. Third, if you need to replace just youe frames and they are under warrenty then you better hope you have an script that is less then a year old. Otherwise they will tell you they can't help until you get one and walk off. Finally, they could care less how they handle your face will adjusting your frames and especially with comments that shouldn't be said. One lady was helping me the other day and said my hair was very dirty and that why my earpieces slipped. What?! Mind you I had my hair pulled back in a top not. I honestly will go without seeing before I go back in to this branch.
My experience at the LensCrafters at Lexington Green was excellent. Dr. Glenn had my new prescription finished. The appointment and getting to see the doctor was smooth. Next I was next door and saw a Mr. Mike Hall. He had exactly what I was looking for as soon as I mentioned them. I then went out to lunch and my glasses were ready in about three hours. Great customer service and a professional business to deal with. I will be back.
Was told and hour and a half, nope ! Closed and I can't see! Now waiting for them to open after having to pay first!
This was by far the worst ever I came in at 12noon today and wasn’t helped until 1:00pm the sad thing is is that people who came after me was helped and sent on their way. Employees are very rude and have no care in the world for people in programs like myself Monday when I originally went in I was greeted with a smile and everything until I told her I was in a program that PAYS THEM for my glasses that’s when my treatment changed towards me. Today I once again got the same results and was made to sit and wait while they helped others please find people that love their job and not people with a funky attitude
This is a review of the opticians and staff on the store side, as I was not there to see an optometrist. Five stars for atmosphere, environment, location, and, most importantly, for service and staff! My optician's name was Mr. Marcus Minix, and he was excellent! It is obvious he really cares about his job and his customers. Although it's on Nicholasville Rd, the store itself is easy to get to b/c it's in Lexington Green behind the Shell station just off of the Nicholasville Rd exit if you're coming from New Circle. No getting into traffic for those who purposefully stay away from the busy road. As soon as I walked into the door of the store side, a sweet girl immediately greeted me and asked how I could be helped. I had to have three pairs of eyeglasses adjusted, which meant no eyeglasses sales or revenue for them. I assumed I would be taken care of and rushed out for that reason. The girl who greeted me was kind and made small talk as she directed me to a chair. I had just been to another eye vision store, but they do not carry the brand of two of my pairs, Tiffany, and the lady there had agreed that I should go somewhere that carried it. The store has a bright and positive atmosphere. The front of the business consisted of full-length windows, so there was a lot of natural lighting. The other people working who were helping others were smiling and being very conversational. I notice these things, because I appreciate people who love their job. It seemed as though one person being helped was catching up the LensCrafters employee on her family, which if you're from a small town, that is normal. To be in a business on busy Nicholasville Rd in Lexington, KY, it's not so common. That's the level of caring and individual attention this place provides. As soon as I sat down, one of the opticians, Mr. Minix, greeted me and said he would be right with me. While waiting for him, which was only a couple of minutes, another optician asked if I had been helped yet. So far, in a matter of a few minutes, three people had greeted me and asked how I could be helped. Especially at this time of year, I have to wait a while sometimes before getting helped or even greeted. Mr. Minix was very conversational, took his time, and did not rush at all. The precision with which he adjusted my glasses was impressive, and he talked and had a great sense of humor the entire time. I even asked about why they fold oddly, and he did something else to them that made them fold perfectly. I also asked him to check the pair that the other eye vision store had adjusted, and he adjusted them a little more. I liked that he is such a perfectionist with his work, a very efficient perfectionist. By the time I left, it was as if I had three brand-new pairs of perfectly folding glasses. He even made a slight adjustment to my sunglasses. While they did not make any eyeglasses sales off of me yesterday, I will return to that location when I want to purchase a new pair. Even if you go to a different optometrist than the one here at LensCrafters, I recommend going to get your glasses here. Easy all around five stars! Thank you all!
I had a horrible experience with the optometry office at the Hamburg location. I came to the Lexington Green optometry office and they absolutely went above and beyond to rectify the mess made across town.
Octavia and Paxton are amazing! There is a taller young gentleman with brown hair that was unwilling to expend energy trying to assist my husband after we received the glasses he ordered and was not happy. Guess he didn't smell a commission coming his way so we weren't worth the effort... Luckily Octavia (whom helped us initially with the order) was there and we were able to sit around an wait until she was available. She, as always, was willing to help and I wound up ordering myself an extra pair of glasses. My special order frames were not the correct color (manufacturing error not Octavia's fault) and Paxton helped me get them reordered.
