I called at 2:55 and they got me in at 3:15. I give them a five for accommodating me. 14th Street location in Jeff. No direct signage for their suite once I enter the building. I found their suite door behind the wall. A bit confusing. Older building. Once in their office, the Ceiling lights seem dated & a dull fluorescent type maybe. They are eye doctors. Will these lights help or hinder our eyes? Hmmm. I signed in and sat down. Out front I saw One apparent receptionist, one check in employee and One check out employee. That seems normal. Then check in employee called me to check in. Then I sat back down. Another worker called me back, took me to a room, asked me questions, took notes & tested me. She then took me to another exam room. I waited a bit for the Doctor to arrive. THe young doctor arrived and as he was examing me yet Another staff member arrived to type in notes in the computer. Doctor left after explaining what he thought. THe way he talked to me he hadnt even read over the notes. I’ve heard same inexperienced verbiage from other young doctors. Not very reassuring to me. He offered up a free sample of artficial tears. No medicated ointment or drops. Hmmm. Once he left the room, the note taker walked me out out of the room and then passed me over to another yet another employee, who then walked me on up to check out counter. At that point I had to remind check out employee for the artificial tears, which she had another employee go get for me. I saw probably a dozen employees, which were all women, working there. And some were just standing around in the hallway near the exam rooms. Hmmm. I reduced the five rating due to these concerns: awkward entry, dr apparently didn’t review notes, received no medicated ointment or drops and excess employees in the hallway.
