Love Dr. Geortz and Dr. Kline! That is why they get 5 stars. These two are amazing. So is his MA! The gal that fits and measures the glasses ...zero stars. Super rude. Took a tray of glasses my daughter's and I were looking at and stuck it where we couldn't see while they looked in the mirror. Then said she would get with us in a minute VERY rudely. She wrote the entire order for my teen daughter when my daughter asked her to wait because she needed my approval, then got mad when I said no to the pair and she had to remove the order. Then when I checked out she told the front desk that I left the paperwork in the eyeglass section when SHE was the one that the paperwork was handed to. She was also rude 2 weeks before when I had to have a side arm repaired on one girls glasses. Then the front desk woman proceeded to give me the RX and had to make sure I had 3 copies of a paper that basically said they won't do any repair on glasses not purchased there. One would be sufficient as we all know the warranty is through where you buy them. Love our doctors but not the new office staff.

This was my first experience with Wichita Optometry after changing insurance. My experience with my last optometrist was not very good and made me dread dealing with my eye issues. I was very surprised when going to Wichita optometry at how nice and helpful the staff were. I just had a general good feeling with the way they explained things. Dr Heidi is who I saw and he was outstanding, he really helped me understand the issues I was experiencing and how we could work towards solving them and my eye care long term. I have a very high prescription and Dr Heidi made me feel like I had a whole world of options when my last optometrist made me feel like I'd have to settle with what he could find. Dr Heidi told me why I was having comfort issues with contacts and prescribed me some eye drops to help. He even called and took care of things with the pharmacy and my insurance when there was an issue on that end and calling to keep me updated. He even called me back the next day to check on how the drops felt and if I had any discomfort. We also had a very nice lady in the sales area named Theresa who helped me pick out some killer glasses and helped me find the best options for me! I can't wait to pick them up when they get here! Wichita Optometry will receive my business for many years to come after this experience and I can't thank Dr Heidi and the staff enough for all of there help in making me comfortable.

Today Jessie helped us and she was amazing! She establishes a great rapport with patients immediately. However, I am never happy with the receptionist at the Amidon office. She doesn’t look up to greet clients. She doesn’t establish a welcoming rapport with clients. This isn’t the first time I’ve felt this way. You need to have someone at the front desk who makes clients want to be there. First impressions are important. Honestly, if it weren’t for Dr. Heidi and the optical staff, I would find another place for eye care because of her attitude.

Wichita optometry is a superior service provider in everything that it does. I am greeted by name as I walk in the door. The medical assistants who perform the initial testing are competent, friendly, and efficient. The practice uses state of the art diagnostic equipment. My particular optometrist, Dr. Chad Fleming, is extremely thorough and engaged in both my care and my understanding of that care. The last time I had my glasses adjusted the technician came back with properly fitting frames and the offer to order free replacements for my slightly scratched lenses, as they were still under a two year warranty. I have been patient at Wichita optometry for 20 years, and this level of service has been a constant. I recommend them at every instance the subject of eye care comes up.

If you care about your vision..AVOID this place. Terrible service! Doctor seemed to be interested only in the business side versus the well-being of the patients vision. While the assistant said that the pupils would be dilated due to high number of A1C, (an 8+), the doctor said she preferred to (1) wait till next year to dilate or if I felt it was necessary then she preferred have two separate appts to include this. I've never heard of this!! And she went on to give a cheap reason of why, which simply boiled down to charging for a second vision. Aside from this she was late and the front desk ladies (sleepy and couldn't even crack a smiling good morning) had my name all mixed up in system. The only one person that seemed to know her work was the assistant. Rating of zeros on doctor, profession, work ethics n customer service of front desk.
