Dr. Cokingtin removed a cataract from my right eye two days ago. The procedure was not painful at all. The entire staff was friendly and professional and they were very good about explaining what they were doing. I was awake during the surgery, which took less than 15 minutes. When I woke up the next morning I was amazed that my vision was very bright and clear and that I could see details that I was not able to see before. I was even able to drive to my follow up appointment the next morning. I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend Dr. Cokingtin.

In May of 2018 a procedure was performed for my husband and because of the type of surgery it was, we were told that insurance would not cover it. So we had to come up with the money. We were quoted exact amounts from both Sarah and Virginia (with OP Eye Surgery Center) located right across from Cokingtin. We were originally set up for April of 2018, but could not come up with the full payment to cover the surgery. So we had to reschedule to give us more time to come up with the full amount. I asked then if they would accept the amount we had to do the surgery and they refused us. 2 months later I start receiving invoices for a balance due on the surgery performed in May. I called and Sarah explained to me that when Virginia calls to get the amounts for the surgery that they are just estimates and that we are liable for any amount over that quote. WHAT. That is soooooo wrong. They claimed that they would not do the surgery unless PAID IN FULL. And now they want more money which I explained that we are still making payments on the money that we borrowed to pay for the surgery. THEY DID NOT CARE. SO BEWARE TO ALL THAT GO HERE.......THEY WILL BILL YOU WHAT EVER AND WHENEVER THEY PLEASE. WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH SUCH PEOPLE AGAIN.
